Sitting in a high performing team of five the Workforce Development & Training Officers will work together to deliver all aspects of the team’s operational work which achieves the objective of growing the workforce in our specialties, clinical oncology and clinical radiology. In this broad role you will encompass supporting both trainees and their trainers through their programmes. You will be self-motivated, able to build your expertise in the relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks within which they operate and apply that expertise across a wide portfolio of activity. As new initiatives evolve and become business as usual, the work of operations will evolve.

What you’ll do:

• Provide tailored advice on all matters that might affect a trainee’s status and training time using expertise in the regulatory frameworks associated with specialty training in the UK.
• Proactively work with WDTO colleagues to ensure trainees and trainers are adequately supported.
• Review and prepare CESR and MTI applications for assessment by the specialist committee.
• Manage and deliver the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) recommendation process.
• Provide a timely, customer-focussed and responsive service.

• Detailed understanding (or the ability to rapidly acquire it) of UK legislation and GMC regulations and procedures in relation to entry to GMC registers and the right to work in the UK.
• Ability to understand, interpret and advise on legislation, external processes and complex documentation.

We are looking for a Payments and Expenses Officer to join our Finance Business Processes team at RBL.

Based within a team of Payments and Expenses Officers, this role will see you as part of a group responsible for the accurate processing and reconciliation of expenditure across RBL. - Identifying any errors or discrepancies, following them up with the relevant team or the supplier on a timely basis
- Taking responsibility for the month end process for the areas allocated, including month-end tasks such as accruals and prepayments
- Building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, budget holders and Finance Business Partners

Our Finance directorate consists of various sub departments. If you were to join any one of them, you’d help ensure financial responsibilities are achieved, while seeing that RBL has the means to go on innovating and developing.

Purpose of this role YMCA Thames Gateway offers support and accommodation to young people in need and children in care. The service aims to help young people develop the skills and knowledge to be able to live independently and improve their life chances. The Head of Support will be the strategic lead of the Young Futures Programme and ensure that accommodation and support services are delivered in a regulatory and contractually compliant way. The newly formed Finance & Business Services team is seeking to fill the Business Services Manager position as part of this growth.

In this role you will:

· Identify, develop and maintain effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide.

· Proactively promote suicide prevention including raising the profile of PAPYRUS and engaging with those personally affected by young suicide.

· Equip a wide range of stakeholders to enable them to create sustainable suicide safer communities through the provision of tailored support, training and education.

· Deliver training and awareness raising products to a variety of groups including professionals, parents, young people, volunteers and other trainers.

· Contribute to the development and review of projects, and education and training products, in line with the Strategic Plans.

· Contribute to and promote campaigns, training and opportunities as outlined in the Regional and Strategic Plans.

· Represent the charity at events including conferences, panels, working groups and through media channels as required.

· Record, monitor and report on data to evaluate our projects and demonstrate impact.

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

· Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training sessions, leading workshops or educational activities

- Problem solving together and debriefs sharing experiences and learning as a team.
- Support clients with repair issues and repayment agreements for rent arrears.
- Carry out room inspections, health and safety checks and make rooms homely for new residents.

The candidate will also support the fundraising team through grassroots event management and the adoption of a small portfolio of donors. 

The applicant will have excellent communication skills able to translate the stakeholders’ (Trustees/clinicians/donors/young people) needs and broadcast them to the community. They must have hands-on skills creating and designing digital, print, and social media and the confidence to put their signature on a strong communications and marketing strategy that will maximize external partnerships. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident self-starter to bring their vision and expertise into play to shape the look and feel of BCYP’s image, and to coalesce BCYP’s services to offer a holistic experience for our community.

YPF Trust are seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer, to lead the next phase of the YPF Trust’s development in support of place-based partnerships for children and young people.

This role is a crucial one for the sector; we believe that for too long, children's and young people's services have been overlooked, and young people in England do not have access to the services that are required for them to live the full lives that they should be able to. Importantly we believe that the importance of Place has been ignored and that the passion and drive that is found in local community collaboration is a powerful agent for positive change.

You will have passion for social change and a strong commitment for making the lives of children and young people better. You will be collaborative and inclusive by nature and as comfortable working with small community groups as with Government partners and funders.

YPF Trust is a national charity that focuses on collaboration in place for children and young people – we know that working in partnership makes children and young people’s lives better.

We support a growing network of over 40 areas across England by providing tools, resources, advice, enthusiasm, and challenge to established, emerging and completely new partnerships.

The YPF Trust originated from work initiated by John Lyon's Charity in Brent in 2014/15. In response to significant changes in local funding and the role of the local authority, John Lyon's Charity invested in local collaboration to sustain and increase investment, maximise resources, and enhance quality and impact – this led to the establishment of Young People’s Foundations or YPFs.

YPFs are locally established, cross-sectoral organisations that seek to sustain and strengthen delivery for children and young people in a specific area, shaped by local needs and ambitions. In practice, they convene and coordinate local services, building the sector's capacity and increasing and shaping investment.

Our vision is that all children and young people are heard and supported to be happy and thrive wherever they are. To make this happen, we believe that every local authority area in England requires a strong and sustainable children and young people’s sector and that effective and meaningful partnership and collaboration between local organisations is central to achieving this.

This is why it is our mission to ensure:

• There is a strong and effective partnership for children and young people in every place that it is needed, sustainably funded according to its specific needs;
• Funders recognise, understand and collaborate with partnerships at an individual and network level;
• National and regional infrastructure bodies work together with local areas (and statutory partners) to provide a coherent offer of support to local organisations

YPF Trust also hosts the Centre for supplementary education (formerly NRCSE) to ensure the continuation of support and guidance to community-led settings offering supplementary (also known as out-of-school) education to children and young people.

Supplementary schools are community-based initiatives to provide additional educational support for children who also attend mainstream schools. They are often geared to provide specific heritage languages, cultural and religious teaching for children from ethnic minorities as well as additional literacy, numeracy, science and homework support.

Working alongside local partnerships YPF Trust supports safe, effective delivery in communities and collaborates with them to raise the profile of community-led activities among mainstream schools and other children’s services.
