We are looking for someone to lead on making this happen.
We are making good progress building the evidence of what works within and around youth justice to reduce violence, with new Practice Guidance and implementation resources due next year on diversion, mentoring and sports programmes. But the big risk is that we publish these resources and nothing changes. That’s where you come in!
Key responsibilities include:
Working out the best way to make this change happen by getting more senior leaders within youth justice to use our Guidance, toolkit, research and implementation tools to inform day to day operations and strategic decision making.
Creating practical tools and resources that help leaders put evidence into action.
Supporting the scoping and commissioning of behavioural insights research to support effective evidence mobilisation plans and strategies.
About you:
You understand the youth justice sector. You really understand how youth justice services work, from Heads of Services to frontline officers. You have experience working in/with youth justice, ideally in a role that worked with young people who are vulnerable to or involved in violence. You might have previous experience of supporting a youth justice to reflect on and adopt evidence-based practice.
You are fascinated about change and are experienced in making it happen. You have outstanding analytical judgment alongside the emotional intelligence and experience needed to identify the right opportunities for change, then make them happen. As Talitha Arts’ Therapeutic Arts Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing Talitha Arts’ programmes, partnerships and practitioners, working with a wide range of stakeholders. You will come from an arts, management or therapeutic arts background (in any field) and have experience developing programming, managing people/volunteers, and growing partnerships.You will be committed to growth and development and passionate about the power of the creative arts to bring healing, restoration and transformation. You will have experience and a heart for working with vulnerable people, devising and developing creative arts workshops and training sessions, and will be willing to work flexibly with therapeutic intent but outside a clinical framework.
This position is home-based with regular travel within London for workshop, training and meetings (travel costs will be reimbursed). Working hours are flexible throughout the week and can be either part time or full time depending on the candidate (maximum of 30hrs per week).Talitha Arts also provides learning and development opportunities, travel for work within London and 3 extra days at Christmas.
Who are We?
Talitha Arts is creative arts charity that delivers creative arts workshops that benefit the mental health and wellbeing of those who have experienced trauma (through trafficking, living with dementia, domestic and sexual abuse, homelessness) and/or are living with mental health problems, addiction or disability. We are a small team comprising our Artistic Director (Executive), Fundraiser and Therapeutic Consultant. You will be managing 15 self-employed practitioners who work on a freelance basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Managing and developing all aspect of Talitha Art’s therapeutic arts workshop programming

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Salford CVS to support a new community engagement and investment programme.

NEA’s Energy Advisers are empathetic, polite and have good listening skills but are also knowledgeable, assertive, and confident. Their main role is to provide one to one advice to clients referred through the charity’s Warm and Safe Homes helpline and to deliver energy advice presentations to groups. They also get involved in a range of tasks to support these activities. Energy Advisers sit within the Communities Directorate and are part of a dynamic and caring team of professionals who go the extra mile to support their clients, some of whom may be in difficult circumstances.

What you will need to succeed
Working within our Communities Directorate you will have demonstrable experience of delivering Energy Advice and helping others. Therefore, it is vital that you have empathy, confidence and knowledge of the issues facing vulnerable low-income households.
You will have knowledge and understanding of the environmental, social and economic problems of deprived areas and the roles of the public, private and voluntary sectors in tackling them.
You will also have knowledge of assistance available for energy efficiency improvements to low-income households.
You will be an excellent communicator, with proven experience and understanding of how to effectively address the energy needs of low income, vulnerable or disadvantaged householders – with the desire to make a positive difference to people’s lives.
The successful candidate will operate within the North-East of England, ideally within a commutable distance to our headquarters in Newcastle upon Tyne. Home working and office-based locations are available depending on your proximity to a NEA office. Preferences will be discussed with candidates at interview. We are offering:
- £28,163 – £33,205 (FTE) – Scale 5-6, Points 12-22. New appointments are usually made at the starting point of the scale.

Reporting to: Food Supply Manager
FareShare Midlands is the region’s largest food redistribution charity. We take good-to-eat surplus food from the food industry and get it to our Members - frontline charities and community groups all over the Midlands. We turn an environmental problem into a social solution.
Last year we redistributed almost 5,794 tonnes of food from our warehouses in Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham. It is sorted and stored by our dedicated teams of staff and volunteers, and then redistributed to around 800 Members including food pantries and cafes, homeless shelters and drop-in centres.
These local organisations turn the food into food parcels, affordable shopping and delicious meals for people of all ages. As well as food, our Members provide vital support to families and the elderly, many of whom are facing challenging circumstances and living in poverty.
Last year our food reached more than 83,000 vulnerable people every week, providing 13 million meals. At the same time, we are growing our Employability Programmes to help people gain work experience, skills and jobs.

The Role
This important role will represent FareShare Midlands and engage with the food industry in the Midlands, to develop and grow volumes of surplus food.
Using your account management skills you will manage existing and new business relationships, growing our supply base and ensuring rewarding and sustainable relationships for the partner. You will need determination and drive to work effectively with a wide range of businesses and organisations. The role involves working closely with the FareShare Midlands Food Sourcing Manager and FareShare UK Teams to strengthen our capability to source and accept more food. As well as managing existing food partners and spending time researching and contacting potential new local food suppliers in the region, the role includes researching and making new contacts and following up leads. By working closely with the FareShare Midlands Food Sourcing Manager we ensure coordination on management of UK wide food partner accounts as well as consistency of approach and delivery of national initiatives where appropriate.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Business Development and Relationship Management
· Act as a point of contact for a portfolio of existing local food partners and the regional sites of selected National Food Partners
· Research and develop new relationships with food partners and food industry stakeholders across the Midlands.
· Build strong relationships and engage with food partners and stakeholders on a regular basis
· Meet existing and potential food partners to competently and effectively present the benefits of working with FareShare
· Engage with accounts to prompt donations of food through regular phone calls, emails and face to face contact
· Support food partners in identifying surplus food through carrying out factory ‘waste walks’ and engaging employees appropriately
· Work closely with the Food Team and the Supply Chain & Logistics Team to ensure any supply or account management issues are promptly and satisfactorily resolved
· Provide regular food partner impact reporting, case studies and recognition
· Capture feedback from our food partners about their relationship with FareShare
Team Work and Reporting

What you will need to succeed

Our client, a leading London Independent School is looking to recruit a permanent, part-time (21-hours per week) Database & Gifts Officer. The post is to start as soon as possible and based in Dulwich.
Key responsibilities for this post will include:
- Maintaining the alumnae database, including planning, integration of other data sources across the school, liaising with colleagues across the school ensuring data integrity, GDPR and best practices.
- Following and maintaining clear processes to capture data supporting the development and alumnae activities and communications - ensuring that information is imported and recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Creating an annual timeline for data transference across the school, setting out and following clear process and structure. Including new alumnae, new parents, former parents and staff data.
- Conducting in-depth data analysis, data segmentation and reporting to understand key audiences, including researching across the department to identify "lost alumnae".
- Managing all demographic information, donor gift records, market analysis, and generating financial reports for the head of department.

To be considered for this role you will have:
