Job Title: Partnership Administrator (Penny Brohn UK/GenesisCare)
Ref: PA432
Contract: 9 months, with possibility to extend to 1 year, fixed-term maternity leave cover
Hours: Part time (22.5 hours worked over 3 or 4 days)
Salary: £26,500 - £27,500 dependent upon experience (pro rata)
Location: Home based with monthly visits to the Penny Brohn UK National Centre

This role requires excellent communication and administrative skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with the management team, Wellbeing Consultant team, Therapist Team and the wider Penny Brohn UK organisation. We are looking for a professional who has extensive administrative experience with attention to detail. Candidates should be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative within set parameters. Advanced IT skills are a prerequisite.
Key role considerations
- This role will involve working remotely using Teams to communicate to the team across 14 different GenesisCare centres.
- This role requires a highly committed team player with excellent communication and administrative skills.
- An ability to work flexibly and proactively is essential.
The successful partnership with GenesisCare is entering its tenth year and the treatment support service that we offer to cancer patients has shown to be both statistically and clinically significant. Penny Brohn UK have been working in partnership with GenesisCare UK, a private healthcare company, since 2013. We deliver an integrated cancer care approach which includes complementary treatment support and lifestyle advice for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy at all of their 14 centres across the UK. For over 40 years, Penny Brohn UK has supported people with cancer to feel more physically and emotionally able to manage the impacts of their diagnosis and treatment, be more in control of their choices and have the best quality of life possible.

Claire House are looking for an exceptional Accountant to join our finance team, on a permanent basis, to support the daily operations of the organisation and assist in the development of processes and controls.
The successful candidate will have extensive financial experience across sales ledger, purchase ledgers and management accounts with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels from across the organisation.
As an Accountant, the successful candidate will:
- Support the purchase ledger function and complete sales invoicing
- Complete month end postings, supporting the production of monthly management accounts
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and tax returns
- Analyse and investigate of transactions to ensure timely and accurate record keeping – identifying potential efficiencies.
- Work closely with and support the wider finance team, including Financial Accountant and Finance Business Partner.
- Work closely with the wider organisation to support financial understanding and support the needs of all departments
We are looking for:
- A part qualified accountant or a candidate with significant experience at this level
- Experience of computer-based accounting systems and excellent Excel skills
- An ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team
- Experience of investigating transactions and processes, with a willingness to suggest possible solutions
- Commitment to Claire House and its organisational objectives
- A belief in the value of volunteers and of a multi-disciplinary approach
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality

The role
Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in establishing and developing Global Greengrants Fund UK’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) work. The new role of MEAL Officer will undertake high-quality data management and analysis to produce key learnings on the outcomes of GGF’s grantmaking and other programmatic activity, as well as leading system improvements to our evolving monitoring, evaluation and learning framework in collaboration with global colleagues. They will be providing support to the emerging global learning function, and the role will support the delivery of learning activities across our network to develop clear briefs, learnings and findings that can be used by other functions, including the Communications and Philanthropic Partnerships teams, to strengthen the organisation’s external and internal engagement and knowledge sharing activities. This will include developing appropriate methodologies and tools to collate, validate, summarise, analyse and report on key trends within our grantmaking using and improving on a range of data sources including grantee application forms and reports. Working as part of the UK Programme Support function and reporting to the Deputy Executive Director, the post holder will also collaborate closely with colleagues across the global organisation Global Greengrants Fund, particularly within the Programmes, Communications, and Learning teams towards realising organisational aims.
The candidate profile
The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They will be an experienced, senior-level specialist with a strong track record in data collection, monitoring and analysis, with good working knowledge of a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, tools and systems, and in using this information to evaluate and recommend adaptations, and in reporting. Higher-level qualifications/certification in a relevant field, post-graduate qualification would be a distinct advantage, particularly in the social sciences and/or use of mixed method approaches. They will have demonstrated experience authoring MEAL related reports, either organisational reports or academic publications; demonstrated ability to coordinate and improve the process of data collection, analysis and reporting and demonstrated experience in managing datasets, databases, programming, and other analysis software. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills; and be confident in engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including at senior levels. They have exceptional organisational and research abilities, with strong attention to detail and accuracy, including analysing large amounts of information from disparate sources. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies. They also thrive in a virtual environment and are motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions.
