elderly, isolated and vulnerable people who may feel socially excluded. Our mission is to
help relieve their isolation and to assist their integration back into society by providing a
telephone and/or correspondence based befriending service.
Key responsibilities include:
Management, development and service delivery of key programmes including Good Call
(our new telephone befriending service) and Postbox (a pen pal programme).
Volunteer recruitment, engagement and retention – campaign and relationship
management, recruitment administration and onboarding.
Relationship management – building and maintaining strong relationships with key
stakeholders including funders, local businesses, further education providers, potential
referrers within the NHS, social services, care homes and housing associations, delivery
partners and supporters.
Coordination, support and monitoring of volunteer befrienders and their matched referred
clients.
Development and delivery of concise management information and performance reports.
Skills and Experience:
A demonstrable commitment to our vision, and an understanding of issues such as
the ageing process, the possibilities for care and support to elderly people who feel
socially isolated and vulnerable.
Good communication skills to enable frequent video conferencing and telephone
contacts.
Ability to work remotely from home with occasional travel to locations throughout the
West Midlands and possibly UK.
Some experience with Microsoft Office software, including spreadsheets and
databases would be advantageous although training would be available

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Fundraising Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our fundraising efforts to advance our impact in supporting care experienced people.
The Fundraising Assistant will work closely with the Fundraiser to execute various administrative and operational fundraising activities, manage donor relationships, and contribute to the overall success of our fundraising initiatives.

You’ll excel in communication, both face-to-face and in writing, with a knack for crafting persuasive funding proposals tailored to various stakeholders. Prospect Research:
Conduct research on prospective donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations, to identify new funding opportunities and support donor cultivation efforts.
Communication:
Conduct research and develop compelling fundraising proposals for trusts, foundations, corporations, and individuals. Assist in creating and distributing engaging fundraising materials, including appeal letters, newsletters, and social media content, to captivate donors and promote our fundraising initiatives.
Donor Management:
Assist in maintaining donor records, including contact information, donation history, and communication preferences, using a CRM database.
Donation Processing:
Process donations, issue acknowledgment letters, and ensure accurate recording of donations in the database.
Fundraising Campaign Support:
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising campaigns and events, including mailings, online fundraising initiatives, and donor appreciation events.
Grant Administration:
Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, reports, and other grant-related materials, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and deadlines.
Reporting:
Generate reports on fundraising activities, donor trends, and campaign outcomes to track progress and inform decision-making.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the Fundraiser, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with staff across departments to integrate fundraising efforts with other organizational activities and initiatives.
Strategic:
Work closely with the Fundraiser to develop and implement the charity’s fundraising and income development strategy.

Job Purpose:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist will act as a resource for The Robin Cancer Trust, beneficiaries, healthcare professionals and the wider public on germ cell cancers. The role includes service delivery and development, reviewing our health information and health education and awareness training resources, and supporting the creation and facilitation of a new Medical Advisory Group for Robin Cancer Trust. - Lead responsibility for keeping up to date with clinical updates relating to germ cancer and communicating these to the team to inform service development and delivery.
- Research, create and provide accessible information and resources on all aspects of germ cell cancer (detection, treatment, recovery and survivorship)
- Oversight of the content provided in all training materials, resources and information developed by the wider team relating to germ cell cancer detection, treatment and recovery and survivorship.
- Build external stakeholder and peer relationships with other key cancer partners including hospital networks, cancer care partnerships, and other voluntary sector providers. Playing an active role in the germ cell cancer community.
- Working as a core part of the Robin Cancer Trust team to engage people face to face, providing information and on early detection, treatment, and recovery.

- Someone who will support the success of the Regional Fundraising team by coordinating programmes of work, projects and ways of working to create better collaboration and consistency across the team, enabling us to meet our team objectives of securing sustainable income.
- Someone who can monitor and take ownership of all regular Regional Processes e.g. Monthly reporting, basic database (CARE) checks/reporting, risk assessment process, setting up team meetings.

The Role
The Live Music Coordinator will facilitate the delivery of live music experiences across the North of England, improving the health and wellbeing of children and adults through the healing power of live music.
You will work with professional musicians to share live music with people who may not otherwise get to experience it, organising programmes with partner organisations, in line with the organisation’s strategy and operational plan.
You will also support the delivery of the annual programme of live music experiences communicating with hospitals, hospices, care homes and the community. This includes those living with dementia, who have mental health problems, or who are seriously ill.

We’re looking for a Legacy Marketing Officer to join our Individual Giving and Legacy Team.

In memory giving and gifts in Wills left to us by our supporters are essential to ensuring we can help generations of children and young people who will sadly be living with a cancer diagnosis. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Legacy Marketing Officer to play a pivotal role in supporting the Legacy Marketing Manager to plan, implement and deliver legacy and in-memory strategies.
The Legacy Officer will work on a range of legacy and in-memory campaigns, materials and supporter centric journeys across multiple channels. As a team we will maximise legacy and in memory giving and acquire new legacy and in memory supporters, as well as nurturing existing supporters who have expressed an interest in leaving a gift in their Will for the future of Young Lives vs Cancer’s work.

Location: Home-based/remote within the UK
Status: 12-month fixed term contract. 35 hours per week. Part-time will be considered. However, no less than 28 hours per week.
Salary: (Band 3) £27,824 with generous benefits package including 30 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, and 3 days of Christmas closure
Research in Practice is part of the National Children’s Bureau (NCB) family. For over 60 years, the NCB has been building a better childhood for all.
Research in Practice works with organisations across the children and adults social care, health and criminal justice sectors, supporting them to develop an evidence-informed approach to their work. Our focus is on using evidence from research, practice and lived experience, to provide resources that improve policy and services, to achieve positive outcomes for people of all ages.
You will liaise with external commissioners and stakeholders to book in delivery dates – this will include coordinating diaries, commissioning Associates, and confirming delivery details for external commissioners and internal staff. You will work with the team on the pro-active set-up and coordination of both small, one-off deliveries as well as larger scale programmes and projects.
Our ideal candidate would have experience working in a busy learning events or administration environment. You will be capable of managing multiple requests at the same time, and confident liaising with both external stakeholders and internal staff. Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills are crucial to the success of this role. You will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated and used to collaborative working, with excellent communication skills.

The role reports to the Learning Programme Co-ordinator in the CPD Team.
