The legacy and In Memory giving programme will play a key role in enabling Marie Curie to deliver its organisational strategy of ensuring that everyone affected by dying, death and bereavement has the best possible experience, reflecting what's most important to them.
The Legacy Lead will be responsible for developing and executing Marie Curie's DRTV Legacy Awareness Campaign, and our free Will writing service partners. Working in conjunction with the Legacy and In Mem Manager and wider legacy team, the role will support the development and delivery of the legacy giving strategy to safeguard and amplify the legacy pipeline.

Key Criteria:
- Experience of developing and implementing a clear marketing strategy, to align with the overall organisational strategy, and to go grow the legacy pipeline.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Legacy and In Memory Giving within the third sector.
- Demonstrable track record of managing income and expenditure.
- Excellent project management skills.
- The ability to effectively build and manage relationships with external stakeholders and internal engagement.
- Ability to use data and insights to inform decision and maximise output.

The Children's Society has been helping children and young people in this country for over 140 years. We run local services that support children when they are at their most vulnerable and in desperate need of help. We're there for children, every step of the way.

About the role

SSAFA’s Network & Community team, operating across the UK, are proud to announce this role as part of their strategic development plans.

This is a new fundraising opportunity to help provide support for serving personnel, veterans and their families ensuring that no-one battles alone.

As an Accountant, the successful candidate will:

• Support the purchase ledger function and complete sales invoicing

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and tax returns
• Analyse and investigate of transactions to ensure timely and accurate record keeping – identifying potential efficiencies.

Worcestershire Wildlife Trust has gone from strength to strength under the expert hand of our departing CEO, who is retiring after a long and distinguished career with us. This role sits within our Youth Impact directorate, which works to provide one-to-one support for children who need support. Your role will be to help us maintain and develop innovative practice to support our work in our services around the country

We are looking for an Emotional Health & Wellbeing Lead Practitioner that:

-Has experience of management and supervision of staff and volunteers:

-Has a genuine passion and working knowledge of young people and mental health.

-Is energetic, adaptable, able to offer innovation and ideas to support this evolving service.

-Has a background or worked in Mental Health, Education, Youth Work or Social work at a senior level.

-In depth knowledge of mental health presentation in children and young people and the need for evidence based intervention.

-Demonstrates a knowledge of how environmental factors impact mental health.

-Ability to demonstrate a knowledge of barriers preventing children and young people accessing mental health services

-Able to provide 1-1 session support to children and young people of a varied age range. Ability to develop good therapeutic relationships.

-Has experience of screening and triaging referrals, identifying safeguarding and following the appropriate procedures whilst supporting staff.

-Able to travel across Greater Manchester and work a varied shift pattern including Saturdays.

-Ability to evaluate your current practice and reflect on training.

-Computer literate and is able to navigate a data management system.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Competent in undertaking risk assessments.

It is imperative that the successful applicant has a good working knowledge of Mental and Emotional Health Issues that young people face today, including interventions on how to support young people in overcoming these challenges. Due to the fast paced environment and use of computers for clinical record keeping, you will need to have a good level of IT skills. You will need to have experience of young people participation on all levels.

A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen to work as CYP IDVA supporting survivors of VAWG and raising awareness of domestic abuse in schools for those aged 16-25. As an CYP IDVA you will provide immediate support for victim/survivors of abuse including carrying out risk and needs assessments, safety planning and providing short-term support and onward referral. In addition, you will act as a domestic abuse lead for Solace in Barnet providing advice and guidance to Solace staff and schools.

You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborating with external agencies in your work.

About You

We're looking for highly organised and self-motivated applicants who are passionate about ending VAWG and a solid understanding of how domestic or sexual violence against a parent can affect a child in the home. You will have a “can-do‟ approach, experience of working with families and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer. You will receive training and support for this role as necessary.

Successful applicants will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and children, experience of providing emotional and practical support to victims of VAWG, and a strong understanding of housing options and legislation.
