We are looking for a Procurement and Contract Manager to join the RBL team and oversee activity within our Fundraising, Remembrance and Marketing Directorate.

Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, this role will see you jointly own the strategy and delivery of the procurement of goods and services for RBL across our Fundraising, Remembrance and Marketing area. This will involve implementing procurement and contract best practice to deliver technical and commercial requirements.
Supporting the Procurement Team, you will be working on implementing activities to ensure RBL procurement is a best in sector function.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Identification and management of procurement projects that deliver maximum value and mitigate risk
· Partner with business stakeholders to become a trusted and valued business partner
· Establish client requirements, lead the investigation, development and implementation of strategic category plans, benchmarking and cost analysis techniques
· Assisting with the growth and development of the Procurement function to include developing and use of tools and templates, reporting and delivering training to business stakeholders
· Provide support on the development of and where appropriate directly manage key supplier relationships to improve delivery performance

Right now, one of our partners, Aquarius Action Projects, is looking for a Practitioner to join their team. Solihull Integrated Addiction Service (SIAS) is a partnership between five organisations jointly responsible for the delivery of the drug, alcohol, homelessness and gambling services, in the Borough of Solihull. We offer services for adults who use or are affected by substance use, homelessness and gambling.
The aim of the outreach practitioner is to ensure that key services are available to those who need it most. Working in the community and office based setting, the role will include completing treatment assessments, home visits/outreach visits, prison visits, multi-agency working (with WMP, CMHT, GPs, probation and other supporting services). The role entails reaching out to hard to engage clients and supporting them to overcome the barriers they have to accessing treatment. Taking treatment into the community, the outreach practitioner will carry a caseload and provide intensive support to encourage people to try different approaches to engaging with support so offering home visit assessment, prison in reach visits on preparation for their release or meeting in a place of safety for example library or probation office.
Alongside getting to know people in a non-judgemental setting and treating them with empathy we hope to help break the cycle of clients entering and leaving treatment without the right support, letting them know they have choices and support to achieve their goals. We will be introducing the SIAS service and all it has to offer and continued support from ourselves and partners that will help to build confidence, self-esteem and choice.
Your challenge? As a Practitioner you will be working specifically with clients to support the delivery of interventions and to empower change in individuals. You will support people through an outreach approach in addressing their substance needs.
We are looking for an energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse or housing and homeless field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. As well as good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health related issues, you're used to liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and comfortable engaging with clients in a variety of service delivery settings. What’s more, you have a flexible approach, a commitment to the principles of confidentiality and excellent record keeping and Microsoft Office.
Due to the nature of the role, a driving licence and access to a car is essential.
This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join an innovative and independent Clinical Trials Unit (UKCRC fully registered) and help to deliver high-quality research in a unique and challenging setting. You will be key to helping us to successfully set-up and deliver an exciting new adaptive platform trial in paediatric intensive care as well as and helping our unit adapt ahead of conducting a phase II drug trial in critically-ill adults. You will ensure best practice, identify risks and mitigation strategies enhance local Standard Operating Procedures, interpret regulatory and audit requirements and provide guidance, training and support for clinical researchers and trial teams. The post will also involve leading in audits along with preparation for MHRA inspections.
What you will need to succeed
The Applicant must have clinical research experience and experience of conducting managing, auditing or monitoring according to the principles of Good Clinical Practice. A sound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice guidelines, the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, the Data Protection Act and the Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004 and its amendments is essential.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, team working and organisational skills together with a high level of attention to detail. They must be able to work independently with a strong problem-solving ability. The ability to relate to and communicate clearly, sensitively and effectively with people from a variety of professional and personal backgrounds are also essential.

About the role
Alongside the Service Manager, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring, maintaining and providing the highest standards of clinical and personal support and service delivery, while promoting independence and choice to the people supported in the service. You will support the Service Manager to manage and ensure the delivery of the service’s key quality and safety priorities by holding delegated responsibility in key areas of the day-to-day running of the supported living activity/service. You will also have delegated responsibility for the direct supervision and line management of a team of Support Workers. As a senior member of the team, you will promote and lead good practice at all times, doing all you can to make sure that the people we support and their colleagues come to no harm and that the people we support are satisfied with the level of support they receive by acting as an
exemplary role model.
As a Deputy Service Manager, flexibility is important for both you and for the service. You will be required to do on-call shifts during out of office hours. You will be expected to work 20% of your total weekly hours on shift across your assigned services and will be able to role model all aspects of a support worker role duties and responsibilities. Following your time on shift, and in general practice at all other times, you will have responsibility for reporting back to the Service Manager and for maintaining a continual dialogue loop of feedback that focuses on quality, and continuous improvement and learning and ensuring the smooth operation of the allocated group of services.
A full UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle, is preferred but not essential for the role.
About you
-You will have significant, recent experience at a front-line management level in field of learning disabilities in regulated services which may have included being a Registered Manager
-You will have knowledge of legislation and guidance relating to adults with learning disabilities, CQC regulations and Health and Safety issues.

About the role:
Chuf are looking for an Events Fundraiser to join their lovely collaborative fundraising team. You’ll work with the Director of Fundraising and Operations to develop their events strategy and offering and grow events fundraising to raise awareness and support for Chuf. You’ll plan and deliver a wide range of Chuf events, working with the fundraising team to ensure you meet objectives, raise funds, and provide an excellent experience for supporters.
The Events Fundraiser will also provide excellent supporter service to all enquiries from members of the public via phone, mail, in person and online to encourage their support. You’ll feed into social media contributing to successful online awareness and fundraising. You’ll also build and manage relationships with suppliers and gift in kind fundraisers through correspondence, phone calls, invitations and visits.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an Insight Executive with data experience to join the Strategic Insight team.
As the Insight Executive, you will be providing quality data to teams across the organisation for marketing and supporting purposes. You will be working with our software to extract data, build communication journeys, and run data processes. This role is key to the organisation, and in ensuring we are raising funds to support children and young people with cancer.
This role is an opportunity to work across a range of data led projects and challenges. Our team is continually adapting and improving; we are looking for a candidate who can shape this role over time, and who we can support to grow in this role.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the Job Description.
• To select and extract data from the database and fully clean the resulting data before sending on to be used for campaigns and other areas of work
• To maximise the benefits of our database by working with team colleagues to deliver data selections, data reports, and data exploration
• Be responsible for incoming data administrative requests and run regular administrative tasks to keep data clean and up to date on the CARE CRM system (our supporter database)
• Be proactive in learning to use new software – we use FastStats, and are currently bringing in PeopleStage, a product to manage supporter data, and the Insight Executive will be regularly using this software .
• On an ongoing basis, to identify areas for improvement including data quality, and increasing internal and external stakeholder satisfaction
• Participate in projects or lead discrete project work and support other areas within the directorate as and when require
WHAT DO I NEED?
• Experience working with data, and relational databases (examples being a Customer Relationship Management database/FastStats/PeopleStage)
• Extracting complex information from a database
• Experience using Microsoft packages, primarily Excel
• Ability to manage complex and multiple tasks, and their own time
• Team player who can easily work as part of a cross functional team to deliver shared goals .

Project summary - Species Recovery for Chalk Steams – Wilder Communities
Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust has secured a grant from the Species Survival Fund, a partnership between Defra and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The Species Survival Fund is enabling the Trust to deliver an ambitious restoration programme for our chalk river and wetland habitats across 11.15km of the River Lea Catchment in Hertfordshire. As part of the project, with additional funding, the Trust will be working in local communities to highlight the importance of our chalk streams and wetland habitats and enabling groups and individuals to take their own local action for wildlife.
This community organising work will initially focus on communities in and around Welwyn Garden City and Hertford.

About the Role
The Reconnect Worker works closely with the Deputy Prevention Services Manager and the housing team at Adur and Worthing Council, you will be responsible for setting up and running our new Reconnect service. Through offering a structured support package including family mediation, you will help young people to return, or stay in, the family home, and where not appropriate we will enable young people to rebuild support networks vital to successful independent living.
You will work collaboratively with all Depaul colleagues and services across the region, as well as with external agencies, to build and maintain a caseload of clients experiencing family difficulties and at risk of homelessness. You will work with clients facing a variety of situations, including young people who are experiencing a breakdown in their family relationships and are experiencing homelessness for the first time, as well as those who have left their homes and are temporarily staying with our volunteer Nightstop hosts.

Key responsibilities include:
- Work directly with young people aged 11-25, and their families, who are experiencing family difficulties and at risk of homelessness, providing guidance, personalised family support and one-to-one and joint party mediation if appropriate.
- Carry a caseload of 15 – 20 clients per FTE for whom you will be the named keyworker.
- Process referrals from relevant agencies to build and maintain a full caseload of clients.
- Work in partnership with young people and their families to complete risk assessments, needs assessments and change plans and outcome questionnaires to work with them towards measurable outcomes.
- Build strong working relationships with all Depaul colleagues and services across the region, as well as other relevant agencies and local authority teams, to promote the service, build effective referral routes and processes and provide holistic support to young people.
- Maintain clear, accurate and up-to-date records of all aspects of your work, in line with monitoring and evaluation processes and standard operational procedures.
- Work closely with statutory bodies and other agencies to support any relevant safeguarding procedures, advocating on behalf of young people and parents/carers when necessary.
About You
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Significant experience working with young people and families in crisis; reflective, creative and solution-focused in your approach and committed to working in an assets-based way.
- To hold or complete a Level 4 Interpersonal Mediation Practitioner’s Certificate (IMPC). Training will be provided if the candidate doesn’t have the qualification, but training will have to be completed before the end of the probation period.
- Experience working independently and managing own caseload; self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks and carry out efficient organisation and administration.
- Experience carrying out risk and needs assessments and support planning for clients.
