About this role:
Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk and Portfolio Management this role plays an important part in the provision of loans and blended funding (loans and grants) to our charity and social enterprise customers.
We are looking for someone who has previous experience of lending, relationship management and managing a portfolio of business/organisation loan customers. This is a great opportunity for someone to be involved in making a difference to people. We need someone who is passionate, proactive, can work well autonomously and as part of a team and is flexible, adaptable and can manage competing priorities.
Members of the investment team are based in different regions across England. This role will primarily manage customers within London, the West of England, South of England and South West of England, although some customers may be located right across the UK. Regular customer visits will be a requirement of the role as well as in person team meetings. We are looking for applicants based in London or the area to the West or South West of London (within circa 2 hours travel time from London) to ensure you are able to easily reach customers across these regions.
Key responsibilities
Relationship Management
1. Responsible for managing a portfolio of SIBs smaller investments (loans and grants) and acting as the primary point of contact for all communications with those customers.
2. Build and maintain strong working relationships with all investees within your portfolio, arranging in-person visits and/or video meetings on a regular basis and when otherwise needed.
3. Collect, review and report on monitoring information from loans/grants recipients which is predominatly financial information (management accounts, annual accounts and forecasts) and social impact progression.
4. Ensure scheduled loan repayments due from investees are received in line with agreed schedules and take action where not received.
5. Proactively identify emerging support needs and recommend methods to address these, including sources of external advice/support.
6. Discuss potential variations to the terms of loans or grants with investees and prepare and submit loan variation recommendations to internal committees including the SIB Investment Committee, including challenging situations where the customer is in default or financail distress.
7. Undertake assessments of new loans and develop relationship to orginate new loan applications.
8. Undertake AML/KYC, eligibility and fraud checks on new borrowers.
9. Drawing up loan and security documentation where required.
10. Arrange drawdown and disbursements of funding.
11. Generate new SIB customers through referrals from customers within your portfolio and your own professional networks.
General
12. Support and/or lead on relevant investment team projects as and when required.
13. Take enquiries from and provide guidance to applicants on all SIB funds.
14. Provide constructive suggestions to improve ongoing processes and input into the design and development of new products.

Emmaus Oxford is in the process of setting up a digital learning centre to deliver accredited digital literacy qualifications to our companions [what we call those ex-homeless men and women that form our community]. People experiencing socio-economic exclusion are further marginalised if they lack basic digital skills. A lack of digital proficiency can prevent companions at Emmaus from successfully engaging in essential life tasks, such as applying for jobs and housing, completing online forms (e.g. universal credit forms), paying bills, managing bank accounts, as well as day-to-day activities like booking / attending remote GP appointments.
We are conducting a 20-week pilot to deliver the Essential Digital Skills (EDS) Level 1 Qualification. The qualification will be offered onsite in our learning hub. Your role, as digital coach, will be to deliver the course to companions in a manner that supports their individual learning and well-being needs. The role includes recording lessons learned and making recommendations on the roll-out of further digital skills qualifications and courses
The Digital Coach will be responsible to deliver the Essential Digital Skills (EDS) Level 1 Qualification Pilot Project. You will support companions to develop digital and life skills so that they realise their full potential to find employment and move on from Emmaus when they are ready.

About the role
You will:
-Provide direct advocacy support to children and young people children and young people experiencing, or at risk, of homelessness. You will hold a caseload, and be committed to championing the rights of these young people, working with a broad range of other stakeholders and agencies to do so.
-Support with developing the quality of services and projects delivered by Coram Voice to children and young people. This includes under Coram Voice’s Homelessness Outreach Project.
-You will support in the promotion of good practice across both Coram Voice and external organisations, building equitable and inclusive practice across the sector for homeless children and young people.
Our advocates will have relevant experience with children and young people, and may hold a suitable Advocacy Qualification. Purpose of the job/About the role
Join our Delivered Services team as an Admiral Nurse and bring your specialist dementia nursing expertise to support family carers, people affected by dementia, and professionals who require specialist advice. You’ll be a key member of our team, providing biopsychosocial support through our National Dementia Helpline and Virtual Clinic appointments.
In addition to your core responsibilities, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and support other clinical projects across the charity, benefit from monthly clinical supervision, and participate in a range of learning opportunities to support your ongoing professional development.
As an Admiral Nurse, you’ll be responsible for providing nursing support and expertise, offering practical guidance to colleagues, the general public, those with dementia, and others in supporting family and relationship-centered approaches to dementia care. You’ll also lead and coordinate shifts as required, providing clinical supervision to others and assist with the development, evaluation, audit of the service.
To be successful in this position, you’ll need to be an active Registered Nurse on the NMC register with a post-registration qualification or training in dementia care or a relevant subject. You will have significant experience of practicing as an Admiral Nurse or dementia specialist nurse and previously worked with people who have dementia and their family, carer and supporters in different settings.
Strong communication skills are essential, as is a proven track record of providing high standards of clinical leadership and specialist nursing support. You should be adept at providing clinical advice, clinical supervision, and advocating for family carers.

About the role:
This role is based in our Stafford or possibly our Stoke-on-Trent office, working flexibly across the area. The service will be delivered as per service user requirements, via schools and safe community settings. The role may involve some early evening and possible weekend delivery, potentially on a rota basis.

40% of children from disadvantaged backgrounds leave primary school in England each year unable to read to the expected standard. Chapter One is a fast-growing charity, with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills they need to thrive. We work to ensure that all children have 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.
Our Early Literacy Intervention (ELI) programme (based on a model that serves 20,000 children successfully in the USA) provides daily, 1:1, 7 minute phonics sessions for children who are behind in phonics. Using a bespoke technology tool, a trained Early Literacy Interventionist works individually with target children.
We are seeking a part-time Early Literacy Interventionist (ELI), based at Galleywall Primary School in Southwark, South London. This ELI role, reporting to the Schools Development Manager, is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop and grow their knowledge of phonics and/or their teaching skill set. It is ideal for someone with previous school experience who is looking for a new and exciting challenge.
For your caseload of target children, you will conduct an initial baseline assessment and then deliver differentiated, 1:1, targeted, 7 minute phonics sessions to pupils using a systematic, synthetic approach. Although you are employed by Chapter One, you will work closely with the school team to understand the progression of the school’s phonics teaching; establish tailored plans for each child and feedback on pupil progress. Using your knowledge and insight, you will also collaborate with colleagues at Chapter One to further improve the ELI model, the online tool and programme delivery.

About the position….
- The core tasks of a Night Care Worker include attending to the needs of the children and young adults during the night, some of which have complex health conditions, domestic duties and appropriate record keeping in accordance with legislation and regulation. This innovative role has been created to respond to recent demands for an integrative approach into support delivery of vulnerable adults presenting a severe and enduring mental illness and/or a forensic background, at times in combination with substance misuse.
