Rochdale and District Mind is a mental health charity that supports people in the community who are facing mental health challenges. Our area of operation is Heywood, Middleton, Rochdale, Bury and N.E. Lancashire. As part of the Mind Federation and the Mind in Greater Manchester partnership, our goal is to ensure that individuals do not face mental health issues alone and can live free from stigma and discrimination.
Our team consists of over 70 dedicated staff members and volunteers who provide a wide variety of services and activities, including counselling, therapeutic group workshops, advocacy, crisis support, dementia support, two wellbeing cafés, as well as other wellbeing activities such as sports sessions. To ensure our services are effective and rooted in the needs of the community, we involve people who use our services in shaping our offer. We are also pleased to be recognised for our work with our Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities in Rochdale. We work proactively both with our service users and with other key stakeholder organisations to tackle health inequalities.
Chair opportunity
We are flexible in our approach and are open to a single Chair or Co-Chair arrangement. We are looking for strong governance experience and the ability to lead. Our new Chair or Co-Chairs will have energy and drive, a genuine passion for mental health support and be able to bring both knowledge and connections to the organisation.
It is an interesting time to be joining us. In recent years, Rochdale and District Mind has experienced significant growth, with both our annual turnover and staff numbers doubling. We have successfully integrated our offerings into the strategic framework of our local Integrated Care Board, adapting our services to address the evolving mental health needs of our community. We are currently engaged in a phase of reflection and consolidation, and with our new CEO Philip Bramson now in place are poised to embark on the next chapter of our journey from a solid foundation.

We are looking for a treasurer to join Screen Share’s Board of Trustees.
We are looking for someone with experience in a charity finance, treasurer or finance director role.
Principal Tasks:
- Regularly supporting and co-facilitating the reporting of financial information at Board meetings, overseeing the production of budgets, forecasts, funding applications and annual statutory accounts.

This Role
The Emergency Nutrition Network needs to expand its funding base. To do this we would like to open funding potential from the private and corporate sectors, new foundations and other funders that may have an interest in working to improve nutrition for people in emergency and high malnutrition contexts.
The work will involve identifying potential funding sources, developing relationships and helping to finesse opportunities that can match ENN with potential funders. This will be closely supported by the CEO and technical team.

We are looking for someone who would enjoy the challenge of working with a charity to raise funds to provide support for projects and practitioners working in difficult and resource poor situations to treat and prevent malnutrition.

The Refugee and Migrant Forum of Essex and London (RAMFEL) is one of the largest immigration and asylum advice charities in the UK, supporting refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants to access justice. Key Responsibilities
Research and Identify Funding Opportunities: Conduct thorough research to identify potential grant opportunities and donors that align with Wekume’s mission.
Grant Proposal Writing: Develop compelling and persuasive grant proposals and funding applications that effectively communicate Wekume’s goals and impact.
Donor Relations: Maintain relationships with donors, providing regular updates on Wekume’s progress and the impact of their contributions.
Fundraising Campaigns: Assist in planning and executing innovative fundraising campaigns to support Wekume’s initiatives.

Carers UK is the national membership charity for the millions of people in the UK who are unpaid carers. As an organisation we provide expert advice and information for carers, campaign for greater recognition and support for carers, and use our experience and expertise to help other organisations do more for carers. Our Board of Trustees plays a vital leadership role in the work we do while ensuring the charity is equipped and governed effectively, establishing and monitoring strategy and ensuring we are true to our values and keep carers at the heart of everything we do.
We are now seeking to appoint up to two people to join our Board of Trustees, to steer us towards our vision of a world where carers are recognised, valued and supported.
It’s an exciting time to be part of Carers UK, we have set out our stake as to how we want the world to change for carers. Our Board is instrumental in ensuring we make the future really impactful for carers through our vision and strategy while fulfilling all our obligations as a charity.
We are specifically looking for two Nations Trustees, one each for Northern Ireland and Wales. In addition to the general responsibilities of a trustee, the Nations Trustee will be expected to ensure that the Carers UK Board is informed on key issues affecting carers in the respective Nations. About the role
As a Trustee, you will have the opportunity to influence our development, and with the other members of our Board, you will be responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity.
We are seeking two new trustees from communities currently under-represented on our board, specifically those with Black or Asian heritage and women. We value a range of mixed voices and aspire to a governance which reflects the diversity of our workforce and the people we support.
Trustee experience or experience in the charity or social care sector is not required, and training and mentorship will be available to those interested in developing their leadership skills through being a Trustee.
At this time, we are particularly interested in speaking to people with knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
• Clinical/health/mental health
• Fundraising
We encourage applications from those with a personal experience of learning disabilities, autism or mental health issues.
In return If you are able to commit your time and energy you will be rewarded by being part of a forward thinking charity dedicated to transforming lives of people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues. This is a voluntary role, with paid travel expenses requiring approximately one day per month of your time.
