Peer Support Worker
£27,344 – £29,439, depending on skills and experience

The Peer Support Service operates alongside other clinical and wellbeing services to provide formalised peer support for people living with common and complex mental health needs and complex emotional needs, including personality disorder.
The service compliments and collaborates with NHS Peer Support Workers and is delivered from community-based locations and NHS Hubs across Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster to help people regain control over their lives, shaped by their own unique recovery process.
The role involves experiential sharing, connecting relationships and community building to deliver a range of peer support activities, including one to one peer support, peer support groups, social peer support, peer support training and Living Well Workshops.
The successful candidate will have:
· Personal lived experience of recovery and living well with a mental health condition
· Knowledge of recovery focused approaches in mental health and trauma informed practice
· Proven experience of delivering peer support in a mental health setting
· Knowledge and experience of common and complex mental health conditions, including complex emotional needs and personality disorder
· Experience of working with diverse communities
· Strong communication skills

We are delighted to have secured funding to set up and establish a robust impact and data collection process and database so that clear outcomes can be measured and collected for the different areas within our adoption support services. This is a new role and the postholder will play a key part in delivering on this work.
Working alongside Adoption Support colleagues, the Database Officer will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the database, ensuring data is kept up to date as well as inputting, monitoring and evaluating data and service user details. They will also contribute to the collection of feedback and case studies from service users.
The Database Officer will produce comprehensive and tailored reports using both qualitative and quantitative data, derived from the new monitoring and evaluation system. These evidence-based reports are produced for a variety of audiences and will contribute to evidencing the effectiveness of PACT’s adoption support services.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in an administrative support role, with database and/or data capture administration experience. To succeed in this role, you will be proficient in producing reports from a database with a keen eye for accuracy and detail and have strong data analysis skills with an ability to derive meaningful insights.

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. We are recruiting for an Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Specialist in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. One Full Time: 35 hours per week - this roles will be based onsite/in the community 4 days per week and work from home 1 day.
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment. Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Female Specialist Support Worker (equivalent to Female Specialist Housing Caseworker) on a Permanent on a full-time basis at our female only scheme in Stoke Newington.
The service is part our Complex Needs Service in London, a supported housing scheme for single homeless females aged 16-21 years, including care leavers and ex-offender with high support needs.

About the role
You will work closely with the Housing First team, colleagues and accommodation providers, to place clients directly into homes in places they want to be. Then you will work with them to develop outcome-focused support plans that reflect their personal strengths and goals, to make sure that they can sustain their accommodation and thrive in their community.
Also you will coordinate support around your client and act as a key worker to help them sustain their accommodation and move forward with their lives. This will mean coordinating interventions provided by other agencies so that the right support is provided at the right time, to enable the service user to progress on their journey to recovery. Giving full advice on different issues such as homelessness and housing options, tenancy issues e.g. dampness and disrepair, welfare and housing benefits, debt and employment is also a key aspect of the role. You will need to visit clients in their homes or community locations which could be anywhere in Dorset.
About you
You will need a relevant background that includes experience of housing, homelessness and welfare benefits law and experience supporting people who are vulnerable and/or have multiple disadvantage. Through this you will have a good working knowledge of safeguarding frameworks. Proficiency using a range of IT tools to carry out your work, including Microsoft Office applications is important too. If you have experience of using case managements systems this is an advantage, but not essential. The role will need you to visit clients in their homes so you will need a valid driving licence and be willing to use your vehicle for work purposes - for which an essential car user allowance will be paid.

Housing Support Worker

Nacro is a national Social Justice Charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives, building stronger communities, and working with stakeholders towards reducing crime.
Nacro deliver the Community Accommodation Support service (CAS) which is a national service across England and Wales. The service allows Courts to make greater use of bail by providing accommodation in the community with support for adult defendants who could not otherwise be bailed. CAS also provides support for adults released from Custody in the last three months of their sentence on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) and other Licence Orders.
The Team provides flexible and holistic support to Residents who have a wide range of support needs. We aim to support our Residents to find and keep a stable home at the end of their CAS-2 placement. You will manage a caseload of Residents and properties in your allocated area.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support clients to comply with the requirements of their HDC/Bail conditions.
- Producing a realistic and achievable Support Plan to include accessing and using housing and accommodation services to support move on to longer term accommodation.
- Ensure that all Support Plans and Risk Assessments are unique, inclusive and person-centred.
- Provide weekly support to Residents to engage with their support plan and contribute to the achievement of their objectives and aspirations.
- Support Residents to access Housing Benefit in the first instance to ensure that their tenancy is not put at risk with escalating rent arrears.
- Manage properties within your area of responsibility to ensure they are being maintained to Decent Homes Standard by reporting repairs, and replacing furniture and equipment are required.
- Undertake basic cleaning tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective, person-centred Support and Safety Plans
- Provide weekly support sessions (up to 2 hours per week) working with our Residents to achieve the goals identified on individual Support and Move On Plans.
- Maintain up to date individual Resident records.
- Support Housing Benefit applications for each Resident.
- Complete referrals to specialist support agencies in the community as required.
- Liaise with Partner Agencies such as The Probation and Prison Services, Courts, and Police where necessary.
- Ensure that properties are always adequately equipped, maintained, furnished, and clean.
- Empower and motivate Residents to identify and achieve desired outcomes.
- Develop Move-on plans with Residents at the earliest opportunity, identifying realistic options for their future home.

About the role
Based within the Fundraising Team, this role is responsible for providing exceptional supporter care to our donors and fundraisers, ensuring accurate record keeping and reporting, and supporting various income streams for the charity including individual giving and community fundraising. An opportunity has arisen to provide support in our weekly groups for young people aged 13-19 who are experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties. The groups are an informal, fun, confidential space where young people can meet and chat with other young people, take part in feel-good activities and receive helpful information and tools. We are looking for a Sessional Support Worker to assist with the delivery of the groups. The postholder will work closely with the Reachout Youth Coordinator to help plan and deliver the groups and provide support to group members. You will have experience of working with young people and an understanding of mental health conditions. The role is for 5 hours per week. Most of your time will be spent at the groups in their 2 different locations, with some time being spent helping to plan activities, attend monthly supervision, and/or other relevant meetings outside of the groups.

nia has been delivering services to women, girls and children who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse, including prostitution, since 1975. The organisation has three main aims: to provide services for women, girls and children who have experienced men’s violence; contributing to ending male violence against women and girls, and to inform and influence policy and public awareness.
The Emma Project, Daria House and Jan’s Place are specialist services providing refuge and support services to women who have been subjected to domestic and/or sexual violence and abuse, including women who have been sexually exploited, including through prostitution and who also use substances problematically.
