About the role
This is a new role that follows a decision to focus our new organisational strategy for 2024-2027 on growing our external influence and that of our network of 47 community foundations across the UK.

External strategic communications
Purpose: To enhance UKCF's communications, brand and external influence in order to engage and inspire key audiences, thereby supporting the effectiveness of our business development, grant programmes and strategic delivery.
Key responsibilities:

Internal strategic communications
Key responsibilities:

The role
The Associate Technical Advisor will support project management and provision of technical assistance to endemic country governments across a portfolio of NTD projects, with a focus on schistosomiasis (SCH) and soil-transmitted helminthiases (STH). Working with Deputy Directors and Technical Advisors within the Technical Team, the Associate Technical Advisor will contribute to planning and delivery of NTD programming, monitoring of progress and project outcomes, and reporting.
Having excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel, the Associate Technical Advisor will have technical knowledge of global health issues and ideally also the control and elimination of neglected tropical diseases and will support the wider team in working respectfully and in partnership with our colleagues globally. The Associate Technical Advisor will ideally also have experience working in sub-Saharan Africa and effectively managing daily priorities in a flexible and adaptable manner.

STEP for people seeking asylum is an exciting new specialised programme, working with people in the asylum system by providing high quality advice and guidance and delivering group pre-employability workshops. Growth, coupled with changing donor attitudes, means that MAG is working in an ever-increasing range of local, national and international partnerships. Organisational ambition means that growth in this area is likely to continue as we seek to develop operational and strategic ventures to extend our impact and influence.
In response, MAG is looking for an exceptional Global Partnerships Advisor to strengthen its in house capacity to develop, monitor and manage its partnership portfolio in order to maximise the reach and impact of our work. This role will work closely with programme teams and the wider Policy and Strategic Partnerships (PSP) team, liaising with key partners in the mine action and disarmament sectors, with a particular focus on Geneva-based organisations. The successful candidate will build new and effective partnerships that can strengthen MAG’s activities, and lead the development of a global partnerships strategy to frame how and when MAG works with other actors to increase our impact and extend our influence.
The GPA will also work closely with programme teams to support staff working with partners at programme level, improving organizational capacity to develop and manage partnerships within a given country or regional context. This will be supported by the review and development of systems, tools, policies and processes that strengthen MAG’s ability to assess, manage and monitor national, regional and international partnerships in line with MAG’s 2024-28 Organisational Strategy. Communicating across the organization, they will also ensure information flows effectively to assist lesson learning, enhance best practice and improve efficiency of delivery.
The successful candidate will have excellent capacity development, project management, and strategic planning skills and the ability to coordinate multiple activities at the same time. Previous experience of donor engagement and representation, as well managing humanitarian and/or development activity which has been implemented via local or international partnerships is essential and experience of working in humanitarian mine action would be highly advantageous. Fluency in written and verbal communication in a relevant second language (French, Arabic, Spanish) is also required. This is a fast-paced and challenging role, which will require high levels of initiative, pro-activeness and strong multi-tasking skills. With an ability to influence, motivate and develop colleagues and key stakeholder and ensuring effective communication, you will be organised, flexible and solution-focused.
Role location
The role will be based from home in mainland Europe with regular travel to Geneva as well as international travel to our office in Manchester and country programmes in South and Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean, possibly at short notice.

The Role
Reporting to the Compliance Lead, the Data Protection Adviser will drive the development of an improved Compliance culture throughout the charity whilst ensuring that we adhere to all relevant regulations and laws. · Acting as a knowledge expert on compliance and promoting a culture of compliance within the charity in relation to data protection, fundraising and the provision of support services, by the provision of advice, guidance, internal communications and training.

Job Vacancy – Regional Adviser
The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is looking for an experienced, proactive and customer focused adviser to support the work of the wider Advice and Support team
The post holder will be responsible for the Midlands area plus other areas as required with an expectation of completing in person visits across the allocated counties. The role therefore requires access to your own vehicle and to reliable broadband. A car allowance and mileage will be paid on top of the salary.
The right candidate will enjoy and excel at building relationships and supporting individuals and families in distress and in times of need using skills and experiences to give clear information advice and guidance as well as supporting with applications for a charitable grant. Experience of managing their own diary and workload as well as significant experience of working in an educational, health or social care environment is essential. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential for this role along with the ability to show empathy.

Our Regional Advisers are home-based workers who are compassionate and dedicated to responding to the needs of Freemasons and their dependents in their area, providing essential support. Their main purpose is to visit and contact members of the Masonic community to determine their needs and to help them to access support from the MCF and other relevant agencies. Support is provided through a combination of home visits, telephone calls, or video calling.

Main responsibilities

Volunteering is at the heart of the RNLI, and we have over 35,000 volunteers in a variety of roles from operational crew and lifeguards to water safety and fundraising volunteers. Lepra is dedicated to addressing leprosy and lymphatic filariasis (LF) and their consequences through direct support, advocacy, and the promotion of inclusive communities. Background & Context to the Consultancy

Purpose & Objectives of the Consultancy
The primary objectives of this consultancy are to lead the transitional phase of the GRITS, creating a detailed operational plan for its implementation; support the management of the existing research portfolio ensuring technical soundness, budget adherence and timely delivery; establish a sustainable pathway for research expertise to be led by in-country professionals.

This role is within our Youth Impact Directorate. It will support the team in a range of activities, but predominantly in overseeing external and internal enquiries into the team relating to safeguarding and adults accessing records who have previously been adopted through or historically in the care of The Children's Society.

Your main responsibilities:
Project design and proposal development (60%)

Work with Country Offices to facilitate effective programme design, supporting collaborative and participatory processes

Upon request lead/write/review proposals for FCDO, and potentially other institutional donors such as DG ECHO, DG INTPA, FCDO, SDC, GAC, GFFO, UN, CHFs, CZDA, etc., and private foundations

Ensure proposed projects comply with donor requirements and PIN strategic priorities, coordinate with other PIN units, especially compliance

Coordinate required technical inputs with other PIN Units (especially the Knowledge & Learning department)

Lead and/or support partner negotiations including teaming and pre-bid agreements

Provide long-term support to specific Country programmes
Strategic and capacity development support (20%)

Coordinate PIN’s commercial contracts working group with support from the Institutional Fundraising Advisor (FCDO Lead).

Coordinate closely with the Institutional Fundraising Unit, you will actively participate in strategic team and departmental discussions

With the support of specialised HQ staff, provide capacity building to broader HQ and country-based staff on bid development, contracting, contract management and compliance with donor standards
FCDO and UK donor engagement (20%)

Support PIN’s global positioning towards FCDO departments, developing and coordinating engagement events

Manage and update internal tracking and coordination systems

Facilitate PIN's relationships with potential primes/partners to increase the scope of accessing FCDO funding opportunities
