Head of Relationships – North
£60,000 - £80,000 per Annum

Key Purpose of the role
As a Head of Relationships, you will Build and maintain the relationship with target local authorities, making sure we understand what local authorities need and want and grow our income and increase the provision of our services.
The role will be to ensure that exceptional business relationships are developed with our commissioners guaranteeing the long term sustainability of the contracts. You will be the subject matter expert for your assigned commissioner and Local Authority and negotiate new business outside of the frameworks and tenders. While assessing service delivery against contracts and provide feedback on any gaps in operations, you will convey any necessary changes with the commissioners.
Who you are
To be successful, you will have senior level experience of being a Relationship/Account Manager for Local Authorities, Commissioners or Multi-Million corporate clients. With credibility in building relationships with public sector funders/commissioners you will have significant experience of negotiation and able to apply different techniques to varying situations. You will have leadership and motivational experience with a multicultural staff team with the ability to create a high performance environment, for all our contracts while setting and monitoring measures that reflect the corporate objectives and customer goals.

For 40-years, School-Home Support has been working with children, families and schools to break the cycle of poor school attendance, low education attainment, anti-social behaviour, crime, low paid or no job, generation after generation. We are very proud of the work we do to support getting children and young people back into school, ready to learn, whatever it takes.
This is a new role in our People team and we are looking for an energetic and dependable People Operations & Systems Manager to work closely with our Head of People and Culture, to help implement best people strategies and practices to secure a sustainable organisational culture. You must possess significant HR management experience (3-years in similar role) to continuously track the department’s efforts and target its goals. This role reports into the Head of People & Culture and is a mixture of remote working and office based.
You will be liaising with all colleagues on HR practices and school and regional based practitioners; together with all Line Managers. Setting goals for people operations deliverables to track the department’s outputs and goals in line with our vision and values. Supervising and managing the people administrator and the L&D Advisor to manage the following:
- Reviewing and approving necessary modifications to the people operations department’s efforts from time to time.
- Overseeing specific tasks such as the full recruitment procedure, together with the People administrator.
- Full responsibility for payroll management; together with Finance and outsourced payroll bureau.
- Responsible for all our People HR/Training/ATS systems to ensure they are managed effectively and fit for purpose.
- Responsible for employee engagement and retention, employee satisfaction, and performance management.
- Ensuring that there is a healthy environment for all our employees to work in and that the people department’s workflow is efficient and compliant, at all times.
- Ensuring that DBS management is up to date; liaising with the safeguarding teams with any updates on DBS processes.
- Updating and implementing people policies, and managing the full employee life cycle administrative requirements
- Managing all ER delivery to ensure dispute management is maintained.
- Maintaining disciplines such as legislative regulations and guidelines.
- Develop a positive working environment, encouraging a proactive approach to people's wellbeing and leading the local Wellbeing Forum initiatives
- Be responsible for and drive improvement in diversity, inclusion and engagement.
- Be accountable for talent planning, succession, assessments and HR processes that drive a high performing team
- Provide general day to day HR support on operational issues

Experience & Skills:
- CIPD qualified (desirable or equivalent experience)

The Community Fundraising and Communications Coordinator will
- Lead on LASSN's Community Fundraising – responsible for developing and delivering a community fundraising strategy that maximises the amount of funds generated by volunteers and supporters, local community groups and individuals.
- Lead on the implementation (and review) of LASSN's communications strategy - ensuring that LASSN's staff, volunteers and experts by lived experience, are central to the production and promotion of LASSN's key messages; the work and impact of LASSN are shared effectively with key audiences; communications support and enhance LASSN's fundraising efforts.

St. Joseph's Hospice Merseyside is the oldest and largest hospice on Merseyside, providing specialized end-of-life care for patients with a wide range of life-limiting conditions. The hospice's 31-bed Inpatient Unit is located in a beautiful setting within a conservation area and 12 acres of natural woodland in Thornton, Merseyside. The hospice's specialist healthcare teams care for over 200 patients and their families from across Liverpool, Sefton, and West Lancashire every year. Our services are free to our patients and it costs around £10k per day to run the hospice.
With the changing horizon of Fundraising, this is a new role for the hospice and pivotal to our future income generation activity for the Charity. The Income & Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to raise funds and secure partnerships for the hospice. They will lead the existing Hospice fundraising team, identify new sources of income, build and maintain relationships with donors and supporters, and manage fundraising events.

The post will also play a key role in supporting the National Further Education and Skills Lead with the roll out of a central offer of support to all ITPs and supporting the Skills and Technical Education Senior Manager in implementing national policy and other work involving providers of technical education.
The role will also contribute towards the wider success of the Network and Employers team supporting colleagues and areas outside of the designated function as required.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

About the role
As we embark on a new ten-year strategy, this is a unique opportunity to lead the development of a radical and ambitious approach to partnerships with businesses, building on the successful partnerships we have with Lloyds Banking Group, Specsavers, Taylor Wimpey, Berkeley Homes and many more.
This pivotal role will lead the development of a corporate and commercial engagement strategy across Crisis, growing and deepening our portfolio of corporate partners, broadening their support for our organisation and our cause, and inspiring them to act within their businesses. The role also involves leading the continued development of our fundraising and partnerships outside of London, creating a national support network to end homelessness.

As part of the wider Enterprise team, our Commercial Marketing Assistant will help devise and deliver marketing campaigns and strategies that will grow audiences and increase revenues across our key commercial income streams. The successful candidate will oversee, coordinate, and manage our commercial marketing channels concentrating on finding and developing new partnerships alongside the Head of Enterprise, marketing and promoting our major sites for partnership working with external organisations.
They will:
1. Assist in the production of marketing collateral and material for the B2B market and the promotion of the Champing brand.
2. Work alongside the Communications team to assist in drafting content and key messages for social media, websites and PR, all of which should adhere to CCT brand guidelines. Handle incoming commercial marketing enquiries as appropriate.
3. Liaise with prospective filming enquiries and work with the local teams to help deliver commercial filming contracts.
4. Build positive working relationships, with internal and external stakeholders, to build on existing opportunities, promote and drive engagement with commercial opportunities.
5. Conduct marketing and audience research, to help support and deliver future revenue growth and gather data to report against KPIs and targets.
6. Support in the delivery and wider administration of commercial operations, working with the Enterprise team and freelancers on the ground. The overarching goal will be to grow CCT's commercial revenues.

Main Purpose of the Job
The Digital Enabler will work with the District Leadership Team and the Communications Officer to build the digital communications capacity of the District at every level, to facilitate effective participation by all members in the life of the church in the North West District, and to make use of new opportunities for mission and community-building in the digital sphere.
Key Responsibilities
1.Ensure that the District leadership is able to fulfil its responsibilities by ensuring there are reliable digital platforms for online, live-streamed and recorded meetings and events, for electronic dissemination of information (via web, social media and mailings), and audio and video recording and sharing..
2.Enable all members of churches in the District to have the opportunity for participation in District forums and events, and to receive information from their District and Circuits.
3.Co-operate with District and Circuit leaders, ministers and pioneers in the development of new forms of mission and church communities using a range of digital resources.
Key Tasks
Training and Support
1.Create a digital strategy for the District, identifying the essential resources and support needed to enable full participation at every level, and the opportunities for missional work in the online world.
2.Support the administration and governance of the District by facilitating online synods, committees and consultations.
3.Build a network of “digital champions” within Circuits and provide advice and support for local training and capacity building.
4.Devise and deliver online training courses for Circuits and churches.
5.Develop a “Digital Community of Practice” across the District, and linking where appropriate across the Connexion, which will envisage and create new ways of being and growing church in the digital age.
6.Work with safeguarding officers to raise awareness of digital safeguarding issues, and create usable information and guidelines for Circuits and churches.
Facilities and Resources
1.Work with the Communications Officer in building and maintaining the District’s online presence, including the website and social media.
2.Develop a range of digital tools and resources for the use of the District and its Circuits, and assist in their implementation. (These could include servicing local website and social media initiatives, plan-making and emailing applications.)
3.Collect and disseminate information on digital specialists in the District who can serve Circuits and churches. (This could include graphic designers, web and database programmers, audio-visual and streaming experts and others.)
Events and Online Communities
1.Provide technical support for online and live-streamed District events, including advertising, registration and ticketing, online and streaming facilities.
2.Work with the Mission Area Leads, Circuits and pioneers in implementing digital services, online communities and missional initiatives.
Personal Training and Growth
1.Maintain an awareness of changes in digital applications and resources, and consider how they can be used in the District.
2.Identify opportunities to expand knowledge and understanding, including by appropriate courses.
3.Reflect theologically on issues around faith in the digital world, and the opportunities for sharing the gospel by these means.

Just for Kids Law (JfKL) works with and for children and young people to hold those with power to account and fight for wider reform. They do this by providing legal representation and advice, strategic litigation, campaigning, and equipping others to work for children’s rights.
