We are looking to recruit a Services Development Manager, to develop, scope, and manage high-quality income-generating services that meet the needs of clients and the community. This includes overseeing current and developing services such as foot health, at-home support, counselling, dementia care, and later life planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Development:
· Conduct market research to identify potential income-generating services.
· Develop business plans and operationalise new services.
· Collaborate with stakeholders in Herefordshire, Worcester, and Malvern Hills to identify service gaps and establish best practice delivery models.
· Partner with the marketing team to create strategies for promoting new services.
Service Delivery:
· Work alongside the management team to execute the organisation’s strategic plan and deliver services aligned with core objectives.

· Fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, commissioners, and local partners.
· Developing referral pathways and enhancing the organisation’s profile.
Contract and Grant Management:
· Oversee contracts and grants, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
· Identify risks to service delivery and take corrective actions.
· Work with the SMT and CEO to develop tenders and bids for funding

The Department

The Position
The Director, People Team works closely with Executive Director and the European Senior Leadership Team (ESLT) to lead the European People Team. They are also a member of the People Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will have a dual reporting line to the VP, People Team. The Director will define, drive, develop, and implement People team strategies and culture change that align with MCE strategy and global People Team priorities in support of Mercy Corps’ transformative Pathways to Possibility (P2P) strategy. The post-holder's responsibilities extend to all Mercy Corps’ offices in Europe and include ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions and working effectively with other stakeholders to ensure a positive employee experience and an organizational culture where talented people want to come to work and can thrive.
Essential Responsibilities
•Advocates for and represents all areas of Mercy Corps’ People strategy. Actively participate as a strategic leader and member of the Mercy Corps Europe (MCE) senior leadership team and People Team SLT.
•Works with the Executive Director to guide the overall vision and approach of the People Team in MCE, delivering clear actionable plans aligned with needs and the context for MCE, and gain support/ownership for that agenda with key stakeholders.

•Set and track annual KPIs as part of the three-year strategic plan for Mercy Corps in Europe, providing this data monthly and quarterly to the Executive Director in Europe and supporting with reporting to the Board as required.
•Lead the compensation benchmarking across all European markets and benchmark individual roles within the pay bands, ensuring there are clear guidelines for all staff on how to position staff within bands, support career development and ensure staff are trained to manage staff according to the Mercy Corps progression approach.

Minimum Qualifications & Transferable Skills
•10 years of Human Resources experience in global roles with a bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
•CIPD (or equivalent) qualified to Level 7 is highly desirable.
•A minimum of 7 years international HR experience.
•Understanding of the HR legal requirements in UK and mainland European countries, especially Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, and France. Knowledge of Germany an advantage.
•Exposure to INGO or similar international organisation is highly preferable.
•Experience leading a diverse team across geographies for at least five years.
•Demonstrated capacity to utilize analytics and technology to improve efficiency.
•Demonstrated capacity to incorporate best in class assessment approaches in global organization.
•Demonstrated experience and ability to create, implement, maintain, and improve HR processes.
•Experience of improving team member wellbeing, through support initiatives and working practices that gets the best from all team members and increases engagement and trust.

Living / Environmental Conditions
This position is based in London or Edinburgh or remote home-working location in the UK and will be required to travel to Mercy Corps in Europe’s offices across the UK and the European continent to oversee team members and represent the organization’s European Senior Leadership Team. It requires up to 20% travel in support of Mercy Corps programs. This position may be asked to travel on occasion with little notice.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of the UK-wide Volunteering Team, as the lead representative for Northern Ireland.
As the Volunteering Development Manager, you will support the development of key volunteering initiatives and projects both across the UK and Northen Ireland. You will play a key role in supporting colleagues in Northern Ireland to identify opportunities to embed volunteering across their work.
Contributing to Sustrans 5-year volunteering strategy aims, you will work closely with the Head of Volunteering to shape and implement this within Northern Ireland.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people such as partner organisations and the UK-wide volunteering development network.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.

You should have substantial experience of volunteer engagement and development across all stages of the volunteer journey. You will be experienced in project coordination and implementation. Role Purpose
You will work alongside the Strategic Projects Manager to provide flexible and high-quality project management and administrative support to the Senior Management Team, working across THET’s programmatic, operations, policy, and advocacy work.

Main Responsibilities

The Policy and Public Affairs (PAPA) team is part of the Strategy and Knowledge Directorate at the NSPCC. We are now seeking a Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer to play a leading role in the online safety workstream to ensure legislative and policy frameworks in England and the UK are fit for purpose in preventing online abuse and harm to children.
You will join the team at a crucial moment for children in the UK and help us make the case for strong and ambitious regulation and legislation to ensure every child is safe online.
The Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer will lead the development of new policy positions and delivery of public affairs strategies to achieve regulatory, policy and legal change which tackles abuse and harm to children online. This will involve evidence-based policy development, being responsible for thematic policy areas, and playing a key role in forming and delivering public affairs and influencing strategies.

Job Purpose
This is a new role, joining a small and growing Fundraising Team, with responsibility for proactively leading the cultivation and stewardship of potential and existing major donors, grant-making trusts, and corporate supporters, with a particular focus on driving significant income growth.

· As a key member of the Energise Africa Senior Management Team, help to build the investment strategy for Energise Africa and to deliver against agreed objectives.

· Cooperate in product development which may involve different currency solutions, guarantees and de-risking projects as well as looking at innovative financing structures.

Key skills and experience:
· A passion for sustainable development/impact investing or similar.
· 5 years of experience in impact investing (debt or equity) or corporate lending in emerging markets and/or in renewable energy or climate finance sectors.
· Experience of helping to scale a start-up and/or entrepreneurship within a company.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Great negotiation skills - cooperative, empathetic and get the deals closed.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent EA at the highest levels.
· Fluent in English and ideally French or Spanish, both written and spoken.
· Willing to travel internationally (global emerging/frontier markets and European countries).
· Tech-savvy and proven experience with data-driven investment decisions.
· Bachelors or Masters degree.

The role
As a Community Coordinator Assistant for FareShare, your primary responsibility will be to manage and sustain the Community Food Membership (CFM) programme. Your goal will be to maximize relationships and add value to create the best experience for our charity partners. To excel in this role, you must be an exceptional communicator with an approachable nature, capable of securing, developing, and maintaining relationships with charities, and raising awareness of FareShare Southern Central across the region.
The Community Coordinator Assistant will require a full clean driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be competent and confident traveling independently as they will be traveling across our region.
This role is vital in ensuring the success and sustainability of the FareShare Community Food Membership programme by fostering strong, supportive relationships with our charity partners and making a positive impact across the region.
Main areas of responsibility
The Community Coordinator Assistant will be responsible for the recruitment and retention of Community Food Members (CFMs) within the designated region. This role requires close collaboration with the Regional Manager, the Finance team, and Head Office. The Community Coordinator Assistant is expected to meet recruitment and retention targets, produce comprehensive reports, and ensure all requirements of funders are met.
- Organised, reliable and with a high attention to detail.
- Some experience with customer relationships management systems.
- Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel and Word are essential.
- Strong numeracy.
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task as required.
- A strong team player with a good work ethic.

- Understanding of GDPR principles.
