About the role
Our highest impact projects rely on experts from specialists from a range of disciplines both inside and outside of JRF working together effectively.
In this role, you will lead on creating environments that enables multidisciplinary project teams to succeed in their goals.
You will apply the most relevant delivery and project management tools and techniques to the work of project teams to deliver strategic projects that are a high priority to the organisation’s mission and lead on sharing this learning within the Core Team and wider.
As a member of our internal resources team, you will provide critical administrative and logistical support to the projects in their portfolio (including proposing ways of working, tools and techniques of delivery management that work best for the project team), such as the organisation and delivery of roundtables and internal workshops, scheduling and taking notes at project meetings, co-ordination of open tender processes or other initiatives crucial to moving a project forward.
You will also line-manage two Delivery & Partnership Leads, maintaining an overview of workloads to inform the Head of Core Team on resource planning and management.

We’re looking for someone with:
- Demonstrable working knowledge of various delivery and project management tools and techniques.
- Good understanding of poverty-related issues and JRF’s strategy
- Extensive experience of delivering complex projects simultaneously including clear understanding of financial processes and budget tracking.
- Demonstrable experience of leading on managing relationships and negotiations about resource allocation including excellent influencing and persuasive and diplomacy skills.
- Experience of proactively spotting emerging issues and working autonomously to manage them effectively with the ability to problem-solve
- Track record of being an excellent team player and actively leading and contributing to team objectives.
- Experience of building and managing ad hoc project teams to work effectively.
- Oversight of multiple workstreams for teams across the organisation and leading on ways of working across these.
- Significant experience in managing multiple stakeholders ensuring appropriate communication and engagement.

Salary – £26,000 - £31,000 per annum dependent on experience
Working hours – Normal office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. We are open to flexible working patterns subject to the objectives and outcomes of the role being met. We are currently working hybrid with blended office and homeworking with the ability to work up to three days from home most weeks.

The GMHAN is now looking for a new Network Manager to bring together partners to work to drive action and make a difference. Two years ago, the network restructure and bought in a full-time network manager post, now funded by Greater Manchester Mayors Charity and the Lloyds Foundation.
Since this role was initially bought in, the network structure and funding as strengthened, however we are now looking for someone to play a key role in further developing the GMHAN’s strategic role across the region. This includes facilitating full network events, supporting systems change through our network task groups, driving the work of the coordination group and bringing new partners into the network.
This role will have some involvement in new funding applications for additional roles and will be the line manager for the network’s Lived Experience Co-ordinator post.
While the network has an already established structure, we are looking for someone who has their own ideas about how to mobilise partnership working and will feel confident brining their vision to the network, as well as challenging already established ideas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strengthening the Network
- Working to identify, connect with and involve individuals, organisations, communities, funders, and commissioners to help grow the membership of the network.
- Identifying opportunities for the network to influence systems change and mobilising the wider network to respond to these opportunities.
- Supporting the network’s task groups to work in an action focused way, by having strategic oversight of their work, linking them to opportunities and facilitating joined up working between the groups.
- Identifying funding opportunities to continue the work of the network and working with relevant partners to secure funding for the staff roles and other operational costs of the network.
Supporting Co-Production
- Encouraging and facilitating the involvement and leadership of people with personal insight into homelessness at every level by growing and supporting culture shift towards co-production.
- Line management of the network’s Lived Experience Coordinator and working with them give people with lived experience of homelessness opportunities to engage in the network
Communications
- Oversight of network comms to ensure key messages are communicated with the wider network. This includes sending regular newsletters, maintaining the network website and managing social media accounts.
- Coordinating and facilitating full network events, by identifying key contributors and supporting them to share their work.
- Representing the GMHAN at external events and in some cases presenting to a range of stakeholders about the structure and purpose of the network.
Other
- Have overall responsibility for monitoring and evaluation required for funders.
- Carry out other reasonable duties that may be required in the light of the main purpose of the job and as requested by your line manager.

About the Greater Manchester Homeless Action Network
The Greater Manchester Homeless Action Network (GMHAN) is a cross-sector partnership that brings together everyone across Greater Manchester working to end rough sleeping and prevent homelessness. This includes a range of sectors and specialisms, such as charities, local authorities, housing providers, faith partners and people with lived experience of homelessness. The GMHAN aims to operate using the principles of co-production and community development, placing people with experience of homelessness in the lead.
The work of the GMHAN seeks to add value to local networks and build connections at a GM level. This is done by connecting the many smaller local networks, with local and regional public and private sector bodies, including policy makers and politicians, to influence and design policies and programmes that affect the lives of those experiencing/at risk of experiencing homelessness. We do this through large in person events every 3 months aimed at co-designing Greater Manchester’s homelessness policy and showcasing best practice. Our network events focus on different themes (such as the criminal justice system or youth homelessness) and bring together people passionate about that area to share their experiences and form a collective voice to push for social change.
We also run three task groups- Learn, Lobby & Deliver. The groups are a space for action to happen outside of events, where people from all areas can come together to progress this work and identify areas where the network can influence change. All this work feeds into the GM Homelessness Programme Board, where key decisions are made.

This is a new role at Pyramid which supports business development by focusing on fundraising and increasing public awareness of our work. Purpose of the post
- To work alongside the Director and Board of Trustees to develop and implement a revenue generation strategy which grows and diversifies Pyramid’s income streams, supporter base and public profile.
- To support Pyramid’s current and future financial stability by identifying and accessing a wide range of funding streams, including (but not limited to) corporate sponsorship, grants, contracts, commissions, philanthropy, and donations.

Main tasks:
Strategic
- Responsibility for overseeing and delivering on specific action plans / areas within plans related to business growth and development and monitoring / reporting on progress.
- To monitor and analyse sectoral developments and changes, identifying both opportunities and risks and taking appropriate action.
Financial
- To diversify Pyramid’s revenue streams, with a focus on building unrestricted income.
- To work with the Director to prepare budgets, cashflow forecasts and spending reports, and to present finance information to the Trustees, members, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
- To co-write funding applications and monitoring / evaluation reports with the Director.
- To ensure compliance with funder agreements and that contractual obligations are met.
Engagement
- To work collaboratively with Pyramid’s voluntary Fundraising Team, coordinating and supporting their activities as appropriate.
- To ensure a strong online presence and that high-quality print information is made available for fundraising and business initiatives.
Administrative
- To coordinate the fundraising workload of staff by developing, maintaining, and monitoring the fundraising pipeline and timelines for all sources of income.
- To maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records and documentation relating to funding streams, and income and expenditure.
- To monitor and report on public engagement with fundraising campaigns and strategies.
Operational
- To make arrangements for and at fundraising events, exhibitions, and functions.
- To line manage the Marketing and Communications Officer and be accountable for the day-to-day responsibilities of the Marketing and Communications Officer.
- To attend and contribute to the regular meetings of staff, trustees, and sub-committees as needed.
General

3. Alongside SCVYS managers support and contribute to all elements of internal Quality Assurance ensuring SCVYS remains committed to excellence across everything we do and all we say about what we do.
4. Line management of the Youth Engagement team including an exciting portfolio of programmes including UK Youth Parliament, Young Community Researchers, elected Countywide Youth Council, Summer War Graves project and any other pieces of commissioned work, alongside partners including Staffordshire University, Staffordshire County Council and the German War Graves Commission (Volksbund).
5. Contribute where required to any additional externally commissioned work that includes research, consultation and evaluation elements as and when required within capacity limitations.
6. Take a lead in designing the look and content of publications such as the Annual Report, Social Value Report, etc. and supporting the updating of the State of the Sector report published approximately every 4-5 years.

We are looking for an experienced and inspirational Charity Manager who will help build upon the 25 years of work Dressability has completed in the local community, altering and adapting clothing for people of all ages with learning and physical disabilities, and those with limited dexterity.
The Charity Manager will report directly to the Board of Trustees, and involve all aspects of running a successful charity. The successful candidate will share our passion for ensuring that people with disabilities and limited dexterity are able to dress independently wearing clothing of their choice.
Key elements of the Charity Manager role include strategy and business management, proven fundraising ability, staff and volunteer management, delivering quality services, and managing resources. Ambassadorial skills are key because the Charity Manager will be required to develop and maintain relationships with clients from a broad range of backgrounds, as well as health care professionals, businesses, suppliers and funders. Key Responsibilities
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
- Working with the Board of Trustees to develop, co-ordinate, and action the Charity’s strategy and business plan. Setting objectives and managing the challenges and conflicting priorities to ensure the viable running of the services we provide
- Ensure the Charity operates in accordance with the Charity Governance Code, its policies and procedures as well as best practices in order to fulfil all legal, statutory and regulatory responsibilities
- Submitting accurate updates, annual returns and other necessary documents to the Charity Commission and Companies House
- Provide regular reports to the Board of Trustees, detailing operational performance, fundraising outcomes, and strategic initiatives
FUNDRAISING AND BUDGET MANAGEMENT

- Research, prepare and submit funding applications

DELIVERING SERVICE QUALITY
- Develop standards and maintain the quality of the services Dressability provides
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the service to ensure quality and technical standards are met
- Establish new services for clients where appropriate such as outreach projects and access to services in clinical settings
- First point of contact for clients and team members when issues arise
Requirements
- Proven experience in day-to-day management of a diverse workforce, including both paid employees and volunteers, with strong leadership and team-building skills

SWEDA is growing fast. Since the pandemic, the number of children, young people and adults who need our support has grown exponentially. An estimated 1.25m people in the UK have an eating disorder, and an NHS mental health questionnaire in 2023 found that 59.4% of 17-19 year olds ‘screened positive’ for having eating problems.
We have responded by expanding geographically (into Bristol and South Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire), developing our children and young people’s services and investing in the development of a fundraising team. Our Head of Fundraising has been in post for just over a year and our Fundraising & Communications Officer joined in January 2024. Now we need a Fundraising Manager to help us develop and grow our community fundraising to diversify our income and secure SWEDA’s future. We are a small and friendly team and will make you feel very welcome.
Your role will be to help us devise and deliver community and individual fundraising campaigns, secure and cultivate corporate partnerships and forge relationships with schools and other community partners. You will also recruit and manage a team of volunteers to fundraise and raise awareness. You will be someone who loves meeting people and is ambitious and driven to achieve results. You will have lots of enthusiasm, energy and ideas. You will be comfortable trying new things and in being adaptable; we want to scale our public fundraising activity and are applying a ‘test and learn’ approach. - Plan, lead and deliver on income generation plans for individuals (including regular giving and appeals), community and corporate fundraising to grow SWEDA’s income year on year.

About the Role
This is a key role within the communications team that will see you create understanding and awareness between the organisation and the key local and regional audiences that matter, as the charity embarks on its biggest ever period of growth.
This role will involve managing a small portfolio of local end-to-end integrated communications and PR programmes at various stages, to launch new Youth Zones in Barnsley, Crewe, Grimsby and Preston. You will work closely with each Youth Zone’s Relationship Managers and Fundraisers, as well as its CEO, and Trustee Board, and Young People's Development Group, acting as their trusted communications advisor.
In addition, you will oversee and lead a fundraising focussed communications and marketing campaign to boost reach to new funders (who we call Founder Patrons) in the areas where there are new Youth Zones.
The breadth of this role means no two days are the same, which is why we are seeking somebody organised, dynamic and self-motivated with exceptional project management and stakeholder management skills.
About You
We will be looking for someone that can demonstrate a broad range of communications skills from working with local media to place newsworthy, positive stories around the Youth Zones development, to supporting the development of new Youth Zones websites.
If you are as confident pitching a story to media as you are managing a branding project or overseeing an event, then this could be the role for you.
There will also be opportunities to contribute to the national communications plan, working closely with the Director of Communications and Brand on several high-profile projects, including overseeing and launching the new Youth Advocates programme, working with young people across the Network.
