You will guide fundraisers through their bespoke journey, offering personalised support via meetings, phone calls, and emails, helping them feel connected and inspired to continue their efforts. You'll also collaborate with our volunteering branches and groups to help them grow their local fundraising activities, ensuring they have all the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
Accuracy and organisation are key in this role, as you will manage records in our CRM system and ensure all funds are received promptly and correctly. Ensuring all fundraiser activities meet the law, best practice guidelines and internal policies.
You'll also play an active role in public events, representing the charity, delivering presentations, and participating in local media interviews on behalf of the Association.

What are we looking for?
Experience in community fundraising or relationship management. You will need to be passionate about inspiring and supporting others to achieve their fundraising goals. You will have the ability to motivate and coach people, helping them feel confident and valued throughout their journey.
Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, as you'll be engaging with a wide range of supporters. We're looking for someone who is empathetic, able to understand and relate to different motivations, and who can build personalised relationships.
You should be familiar with CRM systems and GDPR guidelines, with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all interactions. Flexibility and resilience are key, as you'll need to adapt to changing situations while staying motivated. A full clean driving licence and the ability to work some evenings and weekends are also required.

About Our Client
In September 2024 The One Touch Switching Company ("TOTSCo") launched a revolutionary way for UK customers to switch their broadband and landline provider. TOTSCo was founded by the UK telecoms industry in June 2022 to help to introduce the One Touch Switching (OTS) service that all telecom providers should now be using to make it much easier for their customers to switch. TOTSCo is a member-owned and not-for-profit company whose purpose is to develop and operate a messaging platform (The TOTSCo Hub) which is central to OTS.

Job Description
The Head of Finance is a core member of the organisation's structure and is a strategic partner to the CEO in all areas of finance. Responsibilities will include:
1. Job Purpose
- The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer, and comes with membership of the Executive Committee.
- The HoF is responsible for all financial control, reporting, statutory compliance and forecasting.
2. Manage the following functions including those that are outsourced providers (external accountants and managed service partner):
- Bookkeeping (outsourced)
- Annual external audit
- Operational banking relationship
- Cash flow and ensuring compliance with working capital requirements.

- An annualised budget and medium- and long-term forecast for agreement with the board including the charging model for customers.

- Cost-centre managers.

We’re looking for an experienced Director of Fundraising and Marketing & Communications to join the executive leadership team at EACH. This role offers flexibility to work from any of our three hospices at Milton near Cambridge, The Treehouse in Ipswich and The Nook, near Norwich, combined with hybrid working.
East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) provides specialist care for babies, children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk and supports their families. As Director of Fundraising and Marketing & Communications you will lead the strategic planning and delivery of the Marketing and Fundraising annual plan (£7.5m) across all income streams, including major giving, community and events, corporate, trust and foundation teams. This is a critical leadership position, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and a key member of the Senior Leadership Team at EACH.
You’ll be leading a talented team of 30, encouraging, empowering and inspiring colleagues to innovate in ways which help us deliver our overall objectives. You’ll underpin this income generation experience with detailed forecasting and activity planning.

Highly knowledgeable and experienced in delivering primary income streams with experience of develop income strategies to deliver year on year growth

Title: Male Residential Support Worker (this is a live-in role)
Responsible to: Senior Support Worker
Responsible for: Young people living in the accommodation (4 young people aged 16 – 18 years old seeking asylum in the UK).
Location: This is a live-in, residential role based in a supported accommodation home in Loughborough. Some work will be based in our office buildings.

Overall Purpose
To provide advice, assistance and support to young people in the home, as a key member of the Support Team, delivering Baca’s service in line with our Vision and Values. The role includes a consistent adult presence in the home. To attend to their practical and emotional needs whilst supporting the development of living skills. To teach them how to manage and look after a home in order to keep it safe and hygienic. To build trusting relationships within the home to enable young people to feel safe and cared for. - Welcome newly arrived young people into the accommodation, helping them feel safe and able to rest; with compassion without discrimination of age, race, colour or behavioural issues.
- Actively support young people to make progress and develop in the following outcomes; physical wellbeing and emotional wellbeing; personal safety; education and learning; employment and training that is safe and suitable; social engagement (being part of the community and activities outside of the home)
- Be an excellent and positive role model, offering advice, guidance and assistance and consistently modelling behaviours in line with Baca’s values.
- Using Baca’s progress plan, train all young people in living skills and looking after a home such as washing, personal safety, cleaning, cooking and food safety, food shopping and budgeting.
- Providing emotional support at times of difficulty, anxiety or stress.
- Encourage young people settle into and support them to maintain a healthy routine which will include regularly attending education and social activities.
- Act as a co-keyworker for the young people to ensure that their support plans and progress are up to date and that all their needs are being met.
- Enable young people to live with positive values and good boundaries by challenging any unhelpful or unsafe behaviours and encouraging safe and positive behaviours.
- In accordance with the guidelines on Safeguarding and Health and Safety policies, to accept responsibility for working within these guidelines and report any concerns.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the Rebuild Team to ensure all young people are safeguarded and supported to rebuild their lives.
- Take responsibility for keeping the home clean, by consistently role modelling to and training young people.
- Maintain very good communication with relevant members of the Rebuild Team and relevant social workers
- Ensure regular appropriate reporting requirements are consistently met, meeting regulations set out by Ofsted.
- Complete and update all admin work as part of the role such as month end reports and support plans on time and in a consistent manner.
- Playing an active role in developing knowledge and understanding in areas relevant to the role and especially in the areas of asylum and refugee law, trafficking, supporting separated children and the cultures of different nations relevant to Baca.

This will include drafting and negotiating complex life sciences agreements, strategic alliances and partnerships, collaborations and licensing activities, as well as working with our Commercial Partnerships team to support spin-out companies and their route to IPO. You'll make a significant contribution to the management and delivery of the legal function within CRH, e.g. delivering training, mentoring other team members and developing links with external counsel as appropriate. This is a contract role for 12 months covering maternity leave.
What will you be doing?
Work independently to provide timely, proactive, pragmatic, high quality and commercial legal advice and solutions to the organisation
Develop a strong understanding of CRH's business areas, building excellent working relationships across CRH and CRUK, as well as with internal and external clients
Oversee the reviewing, drafting and negotiating of a broad range of legal agreements relating to collaborative research and the protection and commercial exploitation of intellectual property
If requested, line manage and mentor staff within the legal team. Ensure delivery of operational goals and service excellence and develop staff so that they can operate increasingly independently
Promote the team and its role within CRH, CRUK and among stakeholders
Proactively identify, monitor, address and report on legal and regulatory developments of particular impact to CRH
Make contributions to broader strategic discussions
Keep abreast of legal developments, sharing relevant insights within the legal team and contribute to legal know-how resources
Advise on spin-out activity and drafting and negotiating relevant agreements
Plan and deliver on project-related goals as part of a "deal-team" or other project team
Deliver legal training sessions to business managers and others
Review and update template agreements
Provide ad-hoc advice in relation to various legal issues
If required, instruct and manage external legal advisers
Assist CRUK in formulating policy in relation to its translational research activities and intellectual assets
What skills are we looking for?
Degree level qualification in law with relevant qualification either as a solicitor or barrister or equivalent overseas (common law) qualification
Significant experience in an in-house or private practice role
Excellent working knowledge of commercial law and best practice; intellectual property law (particularly patents)
Much of what Cancer Research's scientists and deal-doers do is cutting edge and bespoke - a willingness to work collectively with others in new areas, to assess risk and determine a sensible way of doing things to achieve Cancer Research's goals
Track record of successfully negotiating and drafting a wide range of agreements (especially with an intellectual property dimension, including high value and complicated licence and collaboration agreements)
Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of company law and the regulatory environment relating to life sciences and pharmaceutical product development
Understand, or be able to demonstrate an aptitude to understand quickly, the context in which CRH's business operates and the needs and sensitivities of its stakeholders and have the skills and commitment to network to improve these and support the development of CRHs' business
