The Community Fundraising and Communications Coordinator will
- Lead on LASSN's Community Fundraising – responsible for developing and delivering a community fundraising strategy that maximises the amount of funds generated by volunteers and supporters, local community groups and individuals.
- Lead on the implementation (and review) of LASSN's communications strategy - ensuring that LASSN's staff, volunteers and experts by lived experience, are central to the production and promotion of LASSN's key messages; the work and impact of LASSN are shared effectively with key audiences; communications support and enhance LASSN's fundraising efforts.
The person we appoint will
- Share LASSN's commitment to ensuring asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants at risk of harm are safe, respected, supported and empowered to rebuild their lives free of persecution;
- Have a successful track record of identifying and supporting individuals, groups and institutions to raise funds for values-led organisations or charities like LASSN.

The Wilder Wellbeing Officer will:
- Drive, embed and promote the benefits of a connection with nature to people.
- Develop and deliver resources and upskilling opportunities for communities and practitioners that support them to bring the wellbeing benefits of nature connection into their regular activities.
- Support Community groups to set up nature connection specific activity
- Support volunteers to creatively bring nature connection for wellbeing into their communities.
- Working internally with community-based colleagues to embed nature connection for wellbeing into their practices.
- Work alongside health colleagues (Public Health, NHS, Integrated Care Board) and other Green and Social Prescribing Colleagues to help develop and improve the GSP offer in Somerset.
- This role will sit alongside other ‘Wilder Officers’ who are focused on different areas and specialisms including Youth, Volunteers and Communities.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Responsibility 1: Developing and Maintaining Partner and Community Relationships
- Building on the legacy of previous wellbeing work, maintain relationships we have with health sector partners in Somerset as well as those supporting wellbeing through Social/Green Social Prescribing offers, including art and sports sector partners.
- Identifying individuals, community leaders and existing community groups in Somerset we are not currently working with and work to build trust and relationships.
- Working with our communications team, pro-actively provide content for external communications to highlight our work, the Team Wilder approach and the work of the communities and groups we are working with.
- Finding creative ways to reach previously underrepresented groups/individuals who may benefit from improved access to nature and who could help to take-action for nature in their communities.
- Supporting and inputting to the Local Nature Partnership Nature and Wellbeing Sub-Group, chaired by Somerset Wildlife Trust, and Somerset Nature and Wellbeing Practitioners Network.
Responsibility 2: Supporting Communities/Groups with Nature Connection for Wellbeing
- Championing the ‘Team Wilder’ approach to help create a movement for nature, sharing skills, experience, knowledge and learning about community organizing within the Trust and through the movement.
- Involving SWT and community-based volunteers to support with reaching previously underrepresented groups.
- Using in-depth knowledge of the benefits of nature connection for maintaining and improving health and wellbeing and experience in this field to community groups to embed in the services and informal support and advice they provide.
- Signposting individuals and groups to local nature and wellbeing/nature connection opportunities within their communities.
- Supporting individuals and groups with overcoming barriers to access.
Responsibility 3: Facilitating Events and Developing Resources
- Organising and facilitating public events and support community led events that aim to connect people to green spaces, recognizing the health and wellbeing benefits of doing so.
- Developing resources and guidance documents to support community groups, conservation sector colleagues and health practitioners to integrate nature connection/wellbeing into their regular activities.
- Working with community volunteers to ensure resources are relatable, accessible and include content that is most useful to communities and individuals we are supporting.

The Senior Fundraising Officer will play a key role in the Fundraising Team helping to generate significant and increased income from charitable trusts and foundations and corporate partners.
The role will be responsible for ensuring a regular pipeline of new and existing income from both areas and ensuring partners are stewarded appropriately to maximise engagement with the charity’s aims and objectives.

The Development Officer (Trusts & Foundations) will join a small, dedicated team responsible for securing income from charitable trusts, foundations and grant making bodies in the UK and internationally in support of agreed University priorities, including Health-UEA Climate-UEA and various campus projects.
Reporting to the Senior Development Manager (Trusts & Foundations) you will apply for and manage grants whilst also managing the research of new funding opportunities for the team.

Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone is a 21st century youth hub located at the heart of Blackburn and a dedicated site in Darwen, open to young people aged 5 to 25 years old, aiming to change the prospects offered to young people in the area. Context of Role:
The Youth Club Coordinator role is a crucial role within our mission of making sure B&DYZ is “the Number One Service for young people”. You will be responsible for the coordination, leadership, planning and delivery of Darwen Youth Zone Youth Club provision for young people aged 13 to 19 years (21 with a disability). Essex Pedal Power is an exciting programme led by Essex County Council and Active Essex to support more people to cycle by removing the barriers to participation. This post will support the delivery of the Local Delivery Pilot, based in Colchester. Essex Pedal Power allows eligible residents, including adults and children, to apply for a new FREE quality bicycle. The inclusive programme aims to make cycling accessible for everyone providing access to employment, training and educational opportunities or key local services. The project builds on the successful pilot already running in Jaywick and Clacton and is part of a wider roll out in Essex. It will distribute 725 bikes in Colchester throughout 2023-2025 and if successful, will be rolled out to further areas within Essex.

About the Role
Essex Pedal Power is a flagship programme led by Essex County Council and Active Essex to support more people in deprived areas to cycle by removing the main barriers to cycling. This post is part funded by the Sport England Local Delivery Pilot (LDP) for Essex. You will lead our Essex Pedal Power team in Colchester working collaboratively to maintain an overview of engagement and impact whilst seeking to maximise opportunities for partnership development. We are looking for an individual with experience of positively leading teams to deliver successful outcomes.
You will report directly to the Community Development Manager.
Main Duties
1.Manage the operational delivery and development of the Essex Pedal Power programme with a focus on collaborating with communities and partner organisations in the design and delivery to promote active citizenship and physical activity.
2.Monitor the budget to ensure outcomes are met.
3.Develop and maintain a strong delivery team made up of bike mechanic and project support staff, and a team of volunteers ensuring the team have access to development opportunities and support on a one to one and team basis.
4.Devise, understand and use asset-based community development approaches to community development and work with your team/communities to understand priorities and co-design initiatives. Ensure that delivery mitigates or removes the barriers to participation.
5.To evaluate impact and outcomes of projects to provide organisational learning and feedback for funders and stakeholders.
6.Lead on the implementation of the delivery plan in collaboration with a wide range of partners, to arrange for logistics of bike allocations and storage.
7.Administer an admin system to manage participant applications, eligibility and queries of those in the community eligible to receive a free bike.
8.Co-produce the project with the local communities and locally trusted organisations and ensure continuous engagement and communication to ensure that eligible citizens receive a good quality experience.
9.Work closely with Active Essex communications team to undertake effective communication with applicants, stakeholders, and partners. Ensure all communications and marketing aligns with the Essex Pedal Power branding guidelines.
10.To support the development of informal and formal cycling groups and clubs. Organise ongoing events to bring the recipients of bikes together and build a community cycling culture and togetherness.
11.Working closely and engage with; volunteers, citizens, partners and staff in joint design and collaborative planning. Ensure that the design and delivery of the project and future initiatives are in line with aspirations of the priority communities. Ensure all volunteers are safeguarded and supported through the use of the TAWS volunteer management system.
12.Co-ordinate frequent cycle training sessions and bike maintenance sessions for bike recipients.
13.Develop a pool of qualified freelance learn to ride instructors and Ride Leaders to deliver local training and led rides.
14.Using innovation to encourage the uptake and increase of cycling. Ensure that the outcomes of the project support collaborative outcomes with citizens and other partners.
15.Play a key role in the monitoring and evaluation plan, through collecting, analysing and sharing data (quantitative and qualitative) working with the Active Essex Evaluation Researcher for Essex Pedal Power and with TAWS Data & Insight team.
16.Ensure that all health and safety requirements are understood by staff and complied with on a consistent basis; lead and maintain the development of a risk management culture within the team to ensure that innovation and delivery is balanced with citizen safety.
17.Produce oral and written reports on engagement level, activity delivery and the development of new programmes / projects.
18.Support with recruitment of sessional staff, external instructors and volunteers to resource projects and to develop community capacity and sustainable outcomes.

The Programme Officer is responsible for leading and managing BelEve’s youth development programmes, activities, and services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about youth empowerment.
Reporting to the Programme Director, this role will support the strategic planning, programme development, staff supervision, community engagement, and advocacy to ensure the successful implementation and impact of BelEve youth-focused initiatives.
You will need to be a strong team player with a genuine passion for social mobility and dedication. You will have the ability to work independently with high levels of self-motivation alongside the skills to problem-solve and make decisions to deliver all aspects of a programme end to end, from design to reporting and evaluation.
You will lead a team of facilitators, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our youth programmes while embodying the values and mission of our charity.

Your responsibilities will include:
1. Programme Leadership
Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of BelEve programmes.

3. Strategic Planning

Build and maintain relationships with our community organisations, schools, government agencies, and other stakeholders to enhance collaboration and resource-sharing for youth development efforts.
6. Advocacy and Outreach
Advocate for the rights and interests of young people at the local, regional, and national levels. Raise awareness about issues affecting youth and mobilise support for positive change through advocacy campaigns, media outreach, and community organising efforts.
7. Evaluation and Assessment (Quality assurance)
Support the Programme Director in implementing methods for assessing the effectiveness and impact of youth programmes, including collecting data, measuring outcomes, and reporting findings to stakeholders.
8. Training and Capacity Building
Provide training, workshops, and professional development opportunities for staff members, volunteers, and community partners to enhance their skills and knowledge.
9. Risk Assessment
Identify and mitigate risks related to BelEve programme implementation, participant safety, and organisational liability. Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure the well-being and security of youth participants and staff.
10. Collaboration and Networking
Collaborate with colleagues across BelEve to integrate youth development efforts into the organisation's overall mission and strategic priorities of the organisation. Participate in professional networks and forums to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in youth development.

We are seeking a Mission Enabler, Regional Mission to work in partnership with key staff across the Movement. They will provide direction and energy to Scripture Union’s Regional Ministry with a focus on establishing and sustaining ministry opportunities. · Identify, recruit and support Faith Guides, volunteers and Local Mission Partners (LMPs) through a range of methods, including electronic, phone and face to face.

· Lead local mission activity within Scripture Union’s mission framework, establishing a clear hand-over process and timetable to local church partners.

Yeldall Manor is a Christian recovery centre for men wanting to overcome their addiction problems. We have created this new part-time position to provide consistent and professional HR support to the organisation, bringing together various roles currently undertaken by a few different staff members.
The role will suit someone who can work under their own initiative (after training in our charity practices), experienced in overseeing the employee journey from recruitment and retention to departure. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, and ensure that the charity is compliant with all relevant legislation. This will involve dealing with all employment matters, building robust policies & procedures, and implementation across the organisation. You would also be responsible for preparing the staff rota and all related administration. As a small charity (c. 35 staff including part-time and casual workers), the role will require balancing practical and administrative tasks with management responsibilities. We anticipate that you'll be based in the office for at least two days out of the three days/24 hours worked per week. This is in a lovely rural setting near Twyford (Reading) and, being situated within the rehabilitation centre, you will have daily contact with those men whom you are ultimately helping. Lambourne End Centre are looking to recruit a Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator. The post holder will be responsible for raising revenue and capital funds primarily from trusts, companies and through organising fundraising events to support the work of the Centre. Pay and conditions

Specific responsibilities
An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:
- Deliver training to local and community stakeholders on topics such as carbon literacy, retrofit, renewables and energy efficiency.
- Develop and strengthen tools, guidance and other materials for community organisations that help to increase their ability to deliver beneficial local retrofit initiatives.
- Undertake basic retrofit assessments of domestic and non-domestic buildings and provide useful guidance and recommendations on potential improvements.
- Provide carbon auditing, and recommendations for decarbonisation plans for community businesses.
- Support community organisations to design and deliver capital investment projects, develop funding bids, business cases and project delivery plans.
- Support community organisations to plan and deliver wider community engagement processes that help to foster leadership, consent and action.
- Facilitate learning, networking, and sharing between local and community organisations, staff and volunteers.
- Support CSE’s fundraising activities and the development of new models and approaches for the provision of retrofit activities and services at the local and community scale.
- Provide administrative support for timely delivery of project activities, accurate record keeping and robust reporting.
- Champion to key stakeholders (such as local authorities and funders) the importance of community engagement and the roles which local and community organisations can play in catalysing and enabling the decarbonisation of local homes and community buildings.
