Through our nationwide enterprise and financial capability programmes, we give young people the opportunities and experiences to discover who they are and what they’re good at.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-moving, youth-focused charity and play a pivotal role in our flagship programme for primary-age children.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and proactive individual to join Young Enterprise as Programme Coordinator until the end of December 2025.

About the role

The Programme Coordinator will primarily be responsible for supporting Money Heroes, our largest primary programme designed to develop the financial capability of children across England and Wales. Money Heroes provides resources, training and mentoring for primary schools, as well as storybooks, games and other materials to supplement learning about money at school and in the home.

The Programme Coordinator will work closely with the Programme Manager and the Money Heroes team to ensure the smooth running of the programme, including coordinating content development and website updates, supporting the delivery of teacher training events, supporting the marketing and promotion of the programme, and supporting ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The role also works more broadly across the whole of the Programmes and Services team to ensure joined-up cohesive support is offered internally and externally to staff, teachers and other educators.

The post holder will be responsible for providing high-level customer service both internally and externally to a variety of people including teachers and other educators and YE staff. This role will also provide ongoing support to ensure we are effectively communicating the aims and objectives of our programmes to external stakeholders through newsletters, social media and email campaigns.

We are seeking an individual with first-rate organisational skills. Someone with experience of programme coordination, or the desire to develop a career in this space, who would like to support the development and delivery of training events and teaching materials.

Independent Mental Health Advocate (IMHA)
Working Pattern: 30 hours per week (4 weekdays)
Contract: Fixed Term (until March 2025, with possible extension)
Location: Edenfield Centre, Prestwich, Manchester M25 3BL. Possible additional locations in the local area.

The salary, pro rata, is as follows:
For an unqualified advocate: equivalent to a full time post of £23,920 gross, which equates to £19,136 actual gross salary working four days per week.  
For a qualified advocate: equivalent to a full time post of £26,000 gross, which equates to £20,800 actual gross salary working four days per week.

About the Role

The post holder will support vulnerable patients within the Adult Forensic and Acute Adult Services of Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, with scope to work with patients at various stages of their treatment and rehabilitation. Please note that this role requires physical presence at the hospital.  Appointment will be subject to risk assessment. 

The successful, dynamic candidate will have:

• Experience of providing Independent Mental Health Advocacy, or having worked in a related field, to a high standard.  Relevant skills and experience from backgrounds other than Advocacy can be built on.
• The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of professionals and service-users.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as well as being adaptable to the needs and abilities of others.
• A working knowledge of the Mental Health Act, relating to both the civil and forensic sections of the Act and other associated legislation. As a minimum, a general understanding is required, with a willingness and an ability to expand on this once in post.

Required experience: Working within Advocacy or a Related Field for at least 1 year 
Desirable experience: Holding the National Advocacy Certificate Qualification

Purpose of the Post
To lead insight and impact of the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector across Bradford District and Craven, including developing and managing the Impact and Insight function for the VCS Alliance. To ensure the work of the VCSE sector is founded on good insight and that the impact can be presented clearly to wide range of audiences across the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership system. You will work in partnership with data and intelligence colleagues in Public Health and the NHS, promoting equitable outcomes for all community members.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To lead, on behalf of the VCSE sector, and in collaboration with system partners, the development of a shared set of metrics to measure the impact of the sector’s work, particularly in taking pressure off front line health and care services.
• Lead the development and implementation of an approach to demonstrate the impact of the work of VCS partners and their contribution to reducing inequalities.
• Work in collaboration with other voluntary sector infrastructure partners and their data and insight leads to help develop a joined up and collaborative approach to impact and insights across and on behalf of the VCSE sector.
• Develop, maintain and manage good relationships with a broad range of partners including, Local Authority, NHS partners, VCSE partners.
• Gather local, national, and international insight and learning to help inform investment decisions and the evolution of the VCS Alliance and its delivery partners’ work.
• Provide insight and learning for VCS Alliance staff, and VCSE advocates across the health and care system, to help them inform, advocate, influence and/or inspire.
• Present insights to a wide range of audiences, which includes senior leaders from different sectors, for a range of purposes including informing, advocating, influencing, and inspiring.
• To work in collaboration with system partners, including ICB and public health staff, to access relevant data that be translated into insight required to demonstrate impact of the VCSA and its delivery partners and wider VCSE organisations.
• Support the monitoring, learning, evaluation of programmes for the VCS Alliance and its delivery partners.
• Produce regular reports which help demonstrate the impact and learning of the work of the VCS Alliance and its delivery partners.
• Support the continued development of insight collection methods across a variety of projects.
• Engage in insight and impact conversations on behalf of the VCS Alliance with colleagues with similar roles across the BDC ICB system and the wider VCSE sector.
• Liaise with external evaluation agencies as required, ensuring that their insight is integrated within the VCS Alliance impact and insight system.
• Assist the Operations Director in managing all aspects of GDPR on behalf of the VCS Alliance, including acting in the role of Caldicott Guardian.

General Requirements

• Undertake personal training as required.
• Attend regular supervision sessions and staff meetings.
• Support general VCSA administration by handling inquiries via the telephone, email and drop-ins.
• Provide relevant information for VCSA’s newsletter/s, mailings, website and social media.

Special conditions
As part of this role, you will be required to work and travel across the Bradford District and Craven. While the VCS Alliance supports hybrid working, there is an expectation that you will be based at the office for at least two days per week.

What the role looks like

The Financial Education Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding schools to embed our free financial education resources into primary school classrooms. As Energy Advice Manager (Wales), you will be responsible for our established energy advice services in Powys and Monmouthshire and in the development and delivery of similar services into Ceredigion and wider geographical areas in Wales.

As Complex Needs Community Keyworker you will provide one-to-one support to women on Probation living in the community, and women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision. You’ll provide focused support in identifying their needs and empowering them to access appropriate services in the community. You will also provide some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support prior to women being released from prison.

You will manage a caseload of women with complex needs who are facing housing issues and provide them with advice, guidance and support that helps them connect with other support services in the community that can assist them to overcome barriers when securing safe and appropriate housing.

The role involves a significant amount of data recording and updating case management systems so you need to be prepared to spend a minimum of 35% of your working hours on this aspect and will need to manage your time effectively to meet the data management requirements. This is also a predominantly independent role, so you will need to be confident to make decisions and able to manage your own workload.

You will be employed by One Small Thing but will be part of a wider team of Community Keyworkers employed by our partner Advance. You will also have a desk space at Hope Street, Southampton, to facilitate close working with the rest of the Hope Street team.

You will be required to participate in training and team building events with the wider One Small Thing team as well as the Advance team, in Hampshire.

We are seeking a Therapeutic Practitioner to join our newly established Health Team. This specialist role will enhance our current provision and improve the quality and breadth of mental health support available to young people. The successful candidate will work within the Health Team, in collaboration with our partner organisation Camden & Islington Young People's Service, to deliver 1:1 emotional and practical support, assist in our drop-in service, and facilitate workshops for all young people experiencing homelessness.

You will specialise in helping young people improve their self-confidence while improving their understanding of difficult emotions such as anger. Additionally, you will focus on developing their thinking and practical skills, as well as coping and de-escalation strategies. Your work will aim to improve relationships among young people within the day centre, and continue to promote trauma informed working practices across New Horizon, so that all of our services are designed to address the psychological and emotional needs of young people who are unsafe or facing homelessness.

You will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of an important and innovative new role. You will be provided with your own theraputic support delivered by a highly experienced clinical psychologist and regular individual and group clinical supervision. You will also be given opportunities for further professional development through training and consultation through New Horizon and our Camden & Islington's Young People Service.

In your role as a Community Keyworker, you will be working with women involved in the Criminal Justice System; those on Probation in the Community and those women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision; providing some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support. You will be working in a team of Community Keyworkers in your region. Each Keyworker will provide holistic one to one community support to women with a variety of needs.

The Minerva London service provides holistic, trauma-informed support for women in touch with the Criminal Justice System. We do this through offering dedicated one to one support, safer women’s centre spaces and specialist interventions and partnerships.

To be successful as the Community Key Worker you will need the below experience and skills.

You will be working in a supportive, friendly, and welcoming team whilst having oversight of a caseload of women, who may be under the supervision of the National Probation Service or in custody, enhancing the offer of holistic support and advocacy services available to them throughout their journey.

Building relationships with other statutory and non-statutory agencies in local communities is vital to build referral pathways and provide a whole system approach to supporting individuals.

To carry out this work you will meet women in the community in your designated borough and co-locate with other agencies including the National Probation Service, as well as regularly attending Advance’s North London vibrant Women’s Centre/office space.

You will be a creative self-starter who will support the service and look for innovative solutions to support clients with complex needs. You are confident professional relationship builder and has good awareness of Safeguarding procedures. Strong Administration skills and understanding of compliant behaviours also experience of supporting. With good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions.

What you will do:

A vital role in our Fundraising team, you will be working with individuals, organisations, schools, and small businesses in the local areas across the southern region to raise income and awareness for the charity. You will recruit, manage, and inspire fundraising volunteers to support us to raise much-needed funds. You will be passionate about stewarding existing relationships and cultivating new ones, ensuring an outstanding donor experience. Taking a proactive approach will be key to showcasing our work and charitable goals.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience of effectively managing relationships across a range of audiences.
• Experience of planning and running events.
