The role:

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic team player to deliver high quality support to the Events Manager in the planning and delivery of a range of onsite and online meetings, events and courses.  This will necessitate maintaining effective administration systems and working with databases, websites and social media.

Reporting to the Events Manager, the Events Assistant will provide administrative and event delivery support for events in the planning of physical and/or virtual meetings, events and courses. This will include general support tasks pre-event, onsite and post-event including sourcing and liaising with venues, producing event marketing and communications and coordinating event material.  The postholder will join our Events Manager and Events Assistant – bringing the Events Team to three people.

This role requires exceptional organisational skills, a meticulous eye for accuracy, high levels of customer service and the ability to deliver multiple projects in a timely manner.  Also essential is a flexible, ‘hands-on’ approach and a willingness to help out in all areas of the Association potentially including attending and assisting at events which will require overnight stays at locations throughout the UK.

Main duties and responsibilities

 Technology provision

- To co-ordinate the application and consultation process for children’s palliative care services invited to apply for new packages of technology.

- To create documentation annually to capture all equipment requests, costings and associated partnership agreements.

- To co-ordinate technology installation schedules and liaise with Lifelites Champions to ensure efficient project delivery.

- To produce handouts and user guides for installation and ongoing training sessions aligned to Lifelites technology installation schedule.

- To attend and support the delivery of events, installations and Lifelites functions and represent Lifelites within children’s palliative care settings and forums.

- To provide administrative support for new technology pilots and other innovation activity.

- To support the development of Lifelites 25th anniversary activities, which are currently in development.

Learning and development

- To respond to training requests and co-ordinate installation and ongoing face-to-face training by liaising with Lifelites Champions, Lifelites Trainer and Head of Services to book dates and prepare training itineraries.

- To co-ordinate Lifelites Super User events including venue bookings, scheduling and training providers.

- To capture and monitor training feedback and prepare briefings for Head of Services and Trainer.

- To support the development and implementation of Lifelites e-learning platform, including course modules, interactive learning and activity ideas.

 

Partner engagement

- To support ongoing quality improvement by delivering regular account calls, responding to queries and maintaining up to date contact information for Lifelites Champions and other key stakeholders.

We are seeking a dedicated Move On Support Worker to join our team in a low-medium needs hostel with a capacity of 200 beds (18 month maximum stay). The role involves managing a caseload of 15-20 low - medium need clients, assisting them in transitioning to suitable accommodation, and connecting them with appropriate external services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting and updating needs and risk assessments.
• Accompanying clients to appointments.
• Assisting clients in obtaining identification.
• Helping with benefits applications and ensuring clients receive all eligible benefits.
• Assisting clients in setting up bank accounts.
• Promoting independent living skills and preparing clients for move-on.

About the role

As a charitable organisation, our members are essential to sustaining the future of the Library and achieving our new five-year strategy.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated membership marketer with excellent communication and copywriting skills to help improve member engagement and retention and grow membership at the Library.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will join a small and busy team in the Membership department. About you

Passionate about creating engaging copy for different audiences and channels, you will have a good level of experience with e-communications, e-software, data reporting and CRMs. You will have a background in membership marketing, ideally within an arts/cultural or charity organisation, and experience in implementing marketing retention campaigns to meet set targets. You will also have experience assisting with the delivery of events and be available to work at Library events as needed.

You will have strong writing skills with attention to detail and an ability to identify and produce engaging stories. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and prioritisation skills, be organised and plan workload effectively to meet deadlines. You will enjoy working as part of a team while also able to work independently, taking initiative and holding yourself accountable to tasks. Job Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Income and Engagement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role through income generation activities and engaging with stakeholders to support our charity's mission

Purpose of the job:

• Supervise income generation through a diverse range of sources including, but not limited to, corporate and community fundraising and grants and trust applications
• Delivery of marketing and communications across the charity
• Internal and external event delivery
• Project delivery of discrete projects and fundraising campaigns
• Involvement in volunteering activities

Knowledge, training and experience:

Essential

• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Packages
• Ability to work to given deadlines and prioritise workload
• Knowledge of a range of fundraising approaches and marketing techniques
• Ability to engage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

As the CEO of Parents 1st, you will play a pivotal role in restructuring the organisation following the change in our constitution from CIC to a registered charity in 2023. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering unity and cohesion, creating operational resilience and guiding the organisation towards sustained success in delivering vital services to parents, families and our partners.

The role

You are responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the organisation. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, you will support the mission of the organisation through development of strategic plans and strategies.

You will play a crucial role in creating a positive organisational culture that values diversity and inclusion and demonstrates a commitment to making a difference to our clients as well as working with our partners to realise both our and their potential.

You will ensure the organisation is managed effectively with good governance and financial processes in place, which are compliant with relevant legislation. Just for Kids Law (JfKL) works with and for children and young people to hold those with power to account and fight for wider reform. They do this by providing legal representation and advice, strategic litigation, campaigning, and equipping others to work for children’s rights.

They’ve achieved some incredible reforms that make a big difference to the lives of children and young people, including changes to the law on criminal records, which resulted in thousands of young people not being held back from fulfilling their potential, and ensuring that 17-year-olds are always treated as children in police custody. Additionally, JfKL hosts The Children’s Rights Alliance for England (CRAE), which works with around 100 members to promote children’s rights and monitor government implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
