Charity People are excited to be recruiting for a top cancer related charity to find them a new Fundraising Products Executive. The role is to support the delivery of a range of fundraising products, including virtual events, to achieve net income targets, and providing excellent supporter care and stewardship, to drive engagement and retention of supporters.
The successful postholder will support the Fundraising Products Manager with the planning, delivery and development of products and virtual events, and work with wider teams such as digital, events and marketing teams to monitor and report on overall performance of investments and develop effective marketing engagement pieces. You will implement and deliver communication plans and content across variety of channels (email, SMS, social media channels, FAQ documents, website).
There are a few virtual events coming up early next year which they would like the successful person to assist with to help facilitate and put processes and plans in place. Tasks will include managing the sign-up process to the events, managing website forms. Supporter care, checking stock, developing templates and processes.
You will be experienced in fundraising (supporter care, products, community, or events fundraising) and a confident communicator, particularly skilled in writing, as there is a fair amount of work that requires strong writing skills, in terms of drafting templates and managing supporter stories. The role would suit someone who has been working in a fundraising role for a while who is looking to develop their careers in fundraising to a more senior level. You will be forward thinking, able to connect the dots and be proactive in cross team working and seeing the big picture for the upcoming events.

The Role

You will also oversee the creation of high-quality content to be used across various platforms, including the website, social media, newsletters, press releases, and annual reports.
About You
You will have had proven experience in a fundraising role as well as experience in managing a team. You will also have be able to demonstrate experience in communications and/or understand a wide range of communication techniques. You will also be experienced in implementing and devising a stratergy across multiple income streams.

Student Action for Refugees is the national network of students building a society where refugees and asylum seekers are welcomed and can thrive. Set up by students at the University of Nottingham in 1994, we are an inclusive network with UK students, students from refugee backgrounds and international students working together to make change.
We are a membership charity and the members are STAR student union society groups. A small staff team train and support the network and lead on national projects, campaign and advocacy work.
People who arrive in the UK after fleeing war and persecution face many challenges in both claiming their right to asylum and in building new lives. Challenges that result from a hostile policy environment, negative public attitudes, unhelpful media narrative, a lack of access to services and barriers to higher education.
Our network of STAR student societies and activists is creating a more understanding, just and welcoming society. We do this by: providing practical support and connecting communities through local and national volunteering activities; improving access to university; campaigning for policy change; learning and sharing information about asylum and the lived experience of refugees to shift the narrative.
Impact: Last year, our network of STAR student groups spanned 39 universities and were run by 213 student leaders. Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) works to support the Palestinian people in their struggle for freedom, justice and equality and against apartheid, military occupation and colonisation. About the role:
As an Administrator (Service Delivery Assistant), you will:
Provide a high quality and responsive administrative function for the service. Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries into the service. Supporting the Head and Deputy Heads of service with general administrative duties such as updating and maintaining database and case management systems and collating data reports.
May also include responsibility for external communication, social media, updating directory records for other services. Updating local websites with relevant information and also taking minutes from team meetings.
You will need:
- Understanding and knowledge of an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities, inclusion and diversity
- Ability to work without direct supervision, prioritise work load and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in a structured, organised and methodical manner
- Understanding of confidentiality and safe working practices, in accordance with safeguarding and data protection legislation

- High resilience and the ability to work under pressure

Bookmark Reading Charity is seeking a flexible, experienced and dynamic PR & Communications Manager to lead our public relations efforts, manage key partnerships, and work with ambassadors to grow and enhance our profile and achieve our marketing goals. This role is essential to driving forward our wider strategy and ensuring that our message reaches a broad audience, ultimately contributing to the charity's key performance indicators. You will be managing our communications strategy in close collaboration with the Head of Marketing & Communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive PR, communications & partnerships strategy to increase awareness and visibility of Bookmark’s brand, mission and reputation.
- Build and deliver Bookmarks external communications calendar, driving reach and depth to support the Marketing team’s KPIs and objectives.
- Help create and implement a plan for communicating Bookmark’s strategy, impact, and school programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage in national and regional media.
- Write and distribute press releases, pitch stories, engaging content and manage media inquiries.
- Monitor and report on PR activities, measuring the impact on brand awareness and engagement.

Person Specification:
Experience:
- Proven experience in a PR, communications, or similar role, ideally within the charity, education, or non-profit sectors.
- Demonstrable success in securing media coverage, managing partnerships, and working with high-profile ambassadors.
- Experience in developing and executing PR strategies that align with wider marketing goals.
Skills:
- A degree in marketing, communications, media, or equivalent experience or qualification.
- Proven experience in external communications, either in a PR team, or at a PR agency, with some experience of managing contractors or an agency.
- You’ll have outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail, and ideally, experience in a B2B, third sector, or commercial environment.
- You’ll have the ability to craft compelling stories, press releases and pitches.
- You have experience of working directly with the media, with relevant media contacts a very big advantage.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute plans that deliver measurable results.
- Proficiency in using PR and communication tools and platforms, such as media monitoring services and CRM systems where needed.
