We are looking for a Hospital Carers' Lead to join our service supporting unpaid carers while the person they look after is in hospital and during the discharge process. We know that this can be a worrying and stressful time and that too often carers do not know where to turn to for information and support. Help us make sure that carers get the help and support they need, at this critical time. 

You will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering our offer for carers which seeks to increase the identification of carers within local hospitals, improve carer support during their cared for hospital stay and following their discharge from hospital. 

The Hospital Carers Lead will be responsible for: 

• Offering tailored short-term 1 to 1 support to unpaid carers, working together to develop and implement plans to help improve carers’ experiences during the hospital stay, prepare for discharge and to address carers’ own needs. 

• Supporting unpaid carers while the person they care for is in hospital via signposting to relevant support and information about their rights. 

• Working collaboratively with partners within the hospital, to raise awareness of carers and increase identification.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team in Bristol as a Psychological Therapist. This post is offered as a fixed term contract until 31 March 2026 with possibility of extension, or as a secondment for internal applicants.

St Mungo’s Assertive Contact and Engagement (ACE) Service works with people with mental health needs who face barriers to support, and are not actively engaged with other mental health services. We operate across Bristol, running a variety of services including therapeutic groups and drop-ins as well as community outreach. The project reflects the diversity of Bristol and reaches people and communities that may have had difficulty accessing services that fully meet their needs in the past.  

As a Psychological Therapist, you will join the North Star team, providing dual diagnosis support for people experiencing homelessness, substance misuse, and mental health challenges. Your role involves offering therapeutic interventions to those who struggle to access mainstream psychological services, focusing on relationship building, psychoeducation, individual therapy, and trauma-informed care. North Star also supports clients in forming connections and making referrals to specialist services for long-term care when they're ready. Key responsibilities will include:  

• Manage a complex client caseload, offering weekly 1-1 therapeutic sessions, group therapy, and drop-in clinics at partner hostels.
• Collaborate with clients to identify goals for recovery and create person centred plans to support self-management, clinical progress, and social inclusion.
• Provide trauma-informed mental health care with a creative and flexible approach, fostering community connections and working alongside multiple agencies for holistic support.
• Work part-time for 30 hours per week across 3-4 days, including required Tuesday and Friday availability with flexibility for additional days.

About you

This is could be an interesting role for someone looking to develop their practice, and provide help to people who face barriers to support, if this interests you we encourage you to apply. you will:

• Demonstrate a flexible and creative approach to engage with marginalised clients who may have multiple needs.
• Have experience of delivering therapy to people with multiple disadvantage, complex trauma and, substance use.
• Have a sound understanding of the issues faced by people experiencing homelessness along with an understanding of the difficulties they can experience in accessing services that are fully responsive to their needs. This may include personal lived experience of homelessness or accessing mental health services yourself.
• Demonstrate the ability to provide psychological guidance to colleagues, provide formulations and facilitate group supervisions and reflective practice sessions.
• Hold high level of specialist theory and practice knowledge of psychological therapy and an understanding of the psychological impact of social exclusion.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills of at least one core therapeutic model (e.g. CBT, psychodynamic).

For this role it is a requirement that you have Masters level training, or equivalent, in clinical or counselling psychology, accredited by the BPS. You will also need training in models of developmental lifespan psychology, psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology and two or more distinct psychological therapies. You will also be HCPC Registered, or a BACP / UKCP Registered Psychotherapist, or BABCP registered CBT Therapist.

Night Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.

The shift patter for this role include:12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off.

- Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere
- Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities

The Principal Learning Lead will play a leading role in developing and delivering Frontline’s Approach Social Work programme, a fast-track master’s in social work and our internal Consultant Social Worker programme.

Your role will take the lead in embedding and evolving our Quality Standards for Teaching and Learning and acting as a champion for this work across our programmes. You are responsible for successfully incorporating best practice in pedagogy, through the provision of training, guidance and quality assurance activities across teams.

A dynamic, friendly and innovative care and support business known for its life-changing services is looking for a dedicated and target driven Income and Housing Officer who can maximise the organisation's rental income collection, effectively manage rent arrears and deal with other breaches of the occupancy agreement.

Managing a patch of 4 units across our services you will ensure that challenging rent collection targets are met but also that everything is done to avoid eviction. Your personal qualities are as important in this role as your work experience.

Working alongside Operational Colleagues, the Income and Housing Officer will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of generic Housing Management services across their patch with the main focus on Income Collection and some ASB management. You will be expected to meet tight KPI's increasing rent collection and carry out rent arrears actions at all stages from the initial warning letters to the eviction stage.

What you'll do:

* Take responsibility for maximising rent collection across a defined patch of Look Ahead's portfolio of properties ensuring that rent collection targets are met and tenancies sustained
* Advise operational teams on their support related arrears management activities, including holding local surgeries with tenants and staff, taking direct control of higher level and more complex arrears cases
* Proactively monitor all current and former accounts within the defined patch and make recommendations to the Contract Manager for appropriate former accounts to be written off or referred to Look Ahead's debt collection agency
* Ensure that the rent collection function is carried out both sensitively and in a timely fashion so as to avoid the build up of excessive arrears and record all case details accurately.
* Ensure that all sign ups within the defined patch are done accurately on the correct type of tenancy and at the correct rent and service charge levels.
* Prepare files and documents for legal action and present cases in County Court hearings for possession claims, money judgements

About you:

An understanding of the needs of customers who have experienced homelessness and who may also have support needs.
Excellent time management skills to systematically monitor arrears and complete other tasks in a logical and systematic way.

At Ambitious about Autism, we're currently looking for a Legal Advisor – Transitions and Welfare to join our team.

You'll provide legally-based advice, information and advocacy to the families and young people in our educational settings on a range of welfare issues including social care, health and special educational needs.

You'll deliver professionally written and spoken advocacy skills to support families, drafting representations to help families access services, support or placements they are seeking for their child or young person. You'll support families to access remedies (mediation, SEND Tribunal, judicial reviews) available to families when they are refused the support to which they are entitled, and to make any necessary referrals.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Knowledge and experience of children's and adult's education and social care legal frameworks
• Experience of providing legally-based advice, support and representation to families with disabled children and young people
• Knowledge of the different local authority and public bodies that may be involved in complex welfare cases

This is an exciting opportunity for a Supervising Social Worker to join our growing team, developing new services and support for our carers in Kent. The Supervising Social Worker will use a therapeutic parenting skills, alongside our trauma informed approach to support and advocate for our carers and the young people and children they look after. The Supervising Social Worker will be an essential presence in our recruitment and retention of carers events and must be willing to travel regularly as part of their duties.

• Provision of regular support and supervisory visits to Foster Carers using a trauma informed approach
