Job description
We’re recruiting for a new Fundraising Manager to build on the growth and development we’ve experienced in recent years, and move us to the next level. You will work closely with senior leadership and colleagues across the organisation to
raise crucial funding, public support and awareness to underpin our organisationalstrategy. You will also develop and manage relationships with supporters and funders, as well as strategic partners and external suppliers as required.
Key tasks
● Management and development of all streams of fundraising
● Line management of 1x Fundraising Officer and 1x Grants Lead
● Management/liaison/briefing for external suppliers/freelancers/volunteers related to fundraising
● Uphold brand across fundraising
● Build and manage relationships, partnerships and connections to support Ella’s’ fundraising
● Lead on fundraising and related strategies and policies, and input into organisational strategies and policies
● Attend senior management meetings (weekly online), team check ins (weekly in-person) and other internal and external meetings online and in-person as required
● Monitor and report on targets

About the role:
This role is a hybrid post and your location will be Dyfed Powys Police Headquarters in Carmarthen.
As a Triage & Early Intervention Officer you will:
- Directly support victims affected by crime & ensure the provision of tailored one-to-one support
- Assist those victims in ensuring they receive the support required to complete their journey through the criminal justice system to cope and recover from the impact of crime and help people to move beyond the crime and access additional support services.

About the role:
This role is based at our National Contact Centre in Cardiff.
As a Helpline Adviser you will be: -
- Able to respond to victims of and those affected by crime by providing support, information and referral on to Victim Support services and other agencies
- Providing immediate support, advice and trauma first aid referrals to victims of and those affected by major incidents and terrorism.
- Seamlessly working across multiple services with different processes, procedures and recording mechanisms.

About the Role:
As a Group Work Practitioner, you will be delivering a range of group work courses and programmes to adults affected by crime in the Thames Valley. You will be required to manage your own caseload and work in collaboration with other service delivery staff within the Thames Valley Adult Victims Service.
The Thames Valley Adult Victims Service will provide emotional and practical support to adult victims of any crime. Support will primarily be delivered through specialist group work provision, alongside online and telephone support.
You will be confident in co facilitating the delivery of group work programmes to people with a range of different needs and will have strong empathy skills. You will need to be able to talk to groups of people and will be resilient and confident with supporting others, as well as happy to work as part of a team.
You will need to have the ability to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/ needs and interests in an organised and methodical manner. As a Children and Young Person Caseworker you will be:
- Effectively manage a caseload of Young People aged 13+ affected by crime and traumatic incidents, delivering excellent services which support the commissioners and their service goals to victims.
- Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions
- Undertake risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of the client in line with VS operating procedures. To follow relevant safeguarding policies and procedures, working with safeguarding leads and other agencies to ensure an integrated approach to address any safeguarding concerns.
- Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice this could include criminal, legal and if relevant, civil remedies to service users.

- Experience of working with vulnerable children and families

Introduction and background
Founded in 2011, the Maternal Mental Health Alliance (MMHA) is a UK-wide charity and network of over 130 member organisations, parents, and clinicians dedicated to ensuring all women, birthing people, babies and families impacted by perinatal mental health problems have access to high-quality, compassionate care and support.
The MMHA has recently been awarded a 5-year grant by the National Lottery Community Fund to tackle maternal mental health inequities through community action.
The Maternal Mental Health Councils project will develop, test and replicate a model of community-based decision-making, support and service provision that is led by women with lived experience. The aim is to achieve system change locally and nationally to improve the mental health of marginalised women and is the next phase of the MMHA’s programme to tackle maternal mental health inequities across the UK.
With this funding, we are pleased to be recruiting for an exciting new National Programme Manager role to lead this important work and be an integral part of creating change for families across the UK.

Project delivery
- Deliver all key elements of the MMH Council project, in four localities, covering four different populations, implementing a model of community action led by women with lived experience

This role is based in Dyfed Powys and is Hybrid.
As a Children and Young Person Caseworker, you will:
Effectively manage a caseload of Young People aged 13+ affected by crime and traumatic incidents, delivering excellent services which support the commissioners and their service goals to victims.
Ensure each victim receives an individually appropriate tailored support and information service that fully meets their needs, keeping complex needs central to all processes and decisions
Undertake risk and needs assessments to address the specific needs of the client in line with VS operating procedures. To follow relevant safeguarding policies and procedures, working with safeguarding leads and other agencies to ensure an integrated approach to address any safeguarding concerns.
Provide information and advocacy to enable service users to navigate and understand the criminal justice process and ensure their rights are upheld in accordance with the Victims Code of Practice this could include criminal, legal and if relevant, civil remedies to service users.
You will need:
- Experience of working with vulnerable children and families
- Understanding and knowledge of an active commitment to promoting equal opportunities, inclusion and diversity

About the role
We are looking for an ambitious and passionate Fundraising Manager to lead and develop our fundraising activities. This exciting new role is strategically important to our future development and delivery of services for unpaid carers across Surrey.
Reporting directly to the CEO you will increase income and diversify funding for Action for Carers, developing a fundraising strategy and establishing a new function within the organisation. You will work closely with colleagues to:
