About the role

This pivotal role will see you working with colleagues across the IG team and with wider fundraising colleagues to deliver the Individual Giving (IG) and Retention strategies, working to:

- Increase lifetime value of cash, regular giving and lottery supporters

- Manage key projects and exceptional fundraising campaigns with significant income and expenditure targets

- Give supporters more control of how they give, when we contact them and the content that will mean most to them at their stage in their supporter journey.

- Make sure that each campaign builds strong supporter relationships and long-term commitment to Shelter

- Develop inspiring multi-channel integrated campaigns to create accurate, consistent and engaging experiences at every supporter touchpoint.

- You’ll have the opportunity to deliver audience-led new product and propositions to engage and retain supporters in innovative ways.

- You’ll work across teams as part of our matrix colleague, collaborating on new strategies for creating

- Manage budgets for individual campaigns and help with forecasting income and expenditure targets

About you

Passionate about outstanding supporter experiences and maximising income opportunities, you have demonstrated experience of direct marketing and digital channels such as direct mail, SMS, telemarketing and email.

You’re also used to optimising and reviewing campaigns and aren’t afraid to share both failures and successes. You’ll be highly collaborative, flexible and diplomatic in your approach to managing internal and external stakeholders to deliver results.

What’s more, you excel in analysis and intelligent use of data, are great at utilising insight, including the motivations, interests and behaviours of supporters to guide decisions and have a demonstrated knowledge of project management and development, and will be able to manage multiple projects at once.

You’re happy to challenge the status quo and introduce new ideas, methods and processes too, like to horizon scan and keep ahead of emerging trends and are comfortable working in matrix teams.

Our Individual Giving team sits within our successful, growing Income Generation directorate and consists of three programmes - Supporter Acquisition, Direct Dialogue and Supporter Retention and Development. Together, we deliver a diverse programme of work with ambitious income targets that support our organisational strategy, across cash, regular giving and lottery products. We’ve grown quite a bit over the past few years and benefitted from both investment and opportunity for innovation. That’s resulted in us generating over £20m of unrestricted income every year. We’re looking for two creative individuals to join us as Marketing Officers and play a vital role at the heart of our marketing operations. About the role

The Marketing Officer role reports to the Senior Marketing Manager. The focus of this role will be to support on creative and paid media plans for integrated national and local marketing campaigns, across a variety of Shelter functions. The role will receive on the job training for key marketing skills like writing creative briefs and running paid social campaigns.

This helps key audiences understand what we are fighting for, why and how.  We work closely with our Services, Campaigns, Fundraising and Retail divisions to help achieve strategic objectives.

About the role

Working closely with the wider Scottish Empty Homes Partnerships team, you will develop a Marketing Communications plan for the partnership and support the team with its delivery.

We’ll look to you to create articles highlighting the urgency to bring empty homes back into use, respond to requests for media comment, and ensure up to date content on the SEHP website. You’ll provide analytics on all activities to enable decision making and improve efficiency while using your marketing expertise to manage the brand.

Comfortable working with external agencies and delivering multimedia and social media content, your passion to help deliver the Housing to 2040 strategy will be pivotal to the role.

About the team

Part of an award-winning Communication & Policy Department, our Scottish Empty Homes Partnership (SEHP) is a Scottish Government funded project aimed at enabling private sector empty homes to be brought back into use across Scotland. 

The Partnership achieves this via a mix of policy work, capacity building, training, best practice sharing and awareness raising with councils, community groups and others. It’s also home to the national Empty Homes Advice Service - a public facing advice line that anyone can call for help or to report an empty home.

About you

We are looking for a confident, established professional with extensive knowledge and networks across housing in Scotland, who is comfortable navigating faith spaces. You will be a project manager who is happy working independently and remotely, while achieving high quality deliverables.

About the role

We have recently received funding to explore expansion into Scotland for the Faith in Affordable Housing project. This will be a 15-month project with potential to expand, subject to funding.

The proposed project is to undertake a scoping exercise across Scotland, to ascertain the need for social and affordable housing, and the key stakeholders providing housing, as well as the potential presented by faith organisation-owned assets to meet housing need. The resulting feasibility study and business plan will then inform the potential next steps for Faith in Affordable Housing Scotland.

About the role

Corporate Partnerships are a vital income stream for Habitat for Humanity GB, and with the guidance of our Head of Corporate, the Corporate Partnership Manager will work to maximize fundraising opportunities and strengthen relationships with our current partners.

What the role involves

The Partnerships Manager will help to retain long term support and drive growth within in our portfolio for Habitat for Humanity GB. With an understanding of corporate partnerships and a passion for the charity sector and international humanitarian work, you will work as part of a team to ensure long-term relationships are fostered. Principle activities will include:

· Develop creative and innovative fundraising strategies for corporate partnerships, including writing proposals and pitches.

· Foster long-term relationships with partners through personalized and proactive engagement.

· Collaborate across the network to implement global partnership activations locally.

· Produce regular reports on progress, financial targets, and key learnings from fundraising efforts.

· Work with the Head of Corporate Fundraising to streamline the transition from new business prospects to account management.

· Collaborate with the Global Volunteering Executive to maximize fundraising and grow the Global Volunteering program.

· Partner with the New Business executive to develop marketing materials and co-deliver presentations.

· Manage partnership activations, such as Gingerbread House Day and World Habitat Day.

· Support partners' employee participation in challenge events.

· Assist with corporate partner communications during humanitarian emergencies.

· Provide day-to-day support to further corporate team goals, with flexibility to assist other teams.

· Represent Habitat for Humanity GB at external events.

· Lead and carry out additional duties as assigned by the Head of Corporate Fundraising.

The skills we are looking for:

 

Experience

· Previous experience of raising funds from Corporate Partners for development programs across the world and in the UK.

· Great eye for opportunity and ability to proactively identify unique areas of crossover from which to leverage partnerships.

· A keen interest in the opportunity to deliver powerful global impact through the lens of corporate fundraising.

· Strong research and analysis tools and ability to conduct desk based research to understand strategic synergies between organisations.

• Working in an International context, for an NGO or another organisation.

 

Skills / Knowledge

• Ability to think and plan strategically, both creatively and laterally.

• Exceptional writing skills, able to produce information and compelling -proposals, and reports.

· Effective communication skills, ability to deliver presentations on behalf of Habitat.

• A good understanding of fundraising principles.

· Enthusiastic and positive, with a can-do attitude.

A flexible approach
