This is a training position with the post holders undertaking training at Kings College London as well as working in our face to face frontline Mental Health Support Teams in schools and/or community services. You will be taught to deliver evidence based guided self-help interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The post holders will use their newly developed skills to support children, young people and parent/carers who are referred into the MHST or community services and you will receive clinical supervision to support your professional development.

Information about the Training & the Job Role
This is a fixed term post with this training year funded by the NHS. After successful completion of the course the fixed term training contract will end however we will seek recurrent funding. Applicants will be encouraged to stay within their existing service providers or apply for vacant posts within our services and will be provided support and advice in job applications.
This full-time role will be best suited for applicants who are able to balance a busy work and study schedule, with frequent travel across different sites for university and work. You will be an employee at CDI or OTR but also enrolled on a Postgraduate Diploma course. As this is a Postgraduate level training, you will be required to study and perform at academic level. Applicants must be prepared to work towards their studies outside of protected study time (such as on weekends and after work). Protected study time or teaching days are typically 2 days a week during term (with possibility of extra university days near the start) and will be a mixture of in person and online sessions. Applicants must be willing to travel into London to attend their lectures.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Young Person Psychological Trainings (CYP-PT) Education Mental Health Practice (EMHP) & Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP)
All applicants to the programmes above will be required to undertake Postgraduate Diploma level training at Kings College London alongside a work placement. Please note that you will need to submit an application form to Kings College London for a place on the Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Young Person Psychological Trainings (CYP-PT), in addition to the job application that you make to us. It is strongly advised to submit an early application to prevent the delay of a decision.
Following success at the job interview all trainees will be required to attend teaching for up to three days per week for one year. Teaching and lectures will be mostly based at King’s College London Campus in Denmark Hill. Students will be taught using a combination of lecture style workshops and small group seminars. Assessment on the programme will comprise of a combination or written, oral and video assessments. On successful completion of the course, students will graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education Mental Health Practice or Children’s Wellbeing Practice.
Entrance criteria is detailed in the Person Specification and applications to the programme will be reviewed against this - applicants who do not fulfil the academic criteria may still be considered on a case-by-case basis.

AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.
Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.
AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands of this growth, we are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team in a highly rewarding opportunity. - manage families’ expectations of the legal and procedural processes facing them by supporting families in meetings with agencies such as health, police and local authorities;
- give families practical help on a wide range of issues - including help with letter writing or advocating with employers and local authorities on the families’ behalf;
- Support AAFDA in our bringing families together in AAFDA’s peer support events, such as the Hear Our Voice weekend and the on-line peer support Zoom sessions, where families can speak with others to share their experiences and stories. This will involve occasional evening work.

The Role: This is an exciting new position for a highly motivated, organized, and analytical individual with the opportunity to make a real difference in a growing organization. As our Government Fundraising Specialist, you will be at the forefront of implementing our government fundraising strategy. This role involves a blend of research, advocacy, strategic proposal development, and guidance on contractual and donor compliance. You will join a dynamic, hard-working team responsible for securing 90% of the organization's revenue. Overall purpose
This is a key role that will work closely with the Senior Communications Manager, Head of Public Engagement and Senior Digital Marketing Manager.
You will contribute to the implementation of our communications, engagement and fundraising strategies, ensuring that your work is anchored in our organisational and team strategic goals. The Head of Corporate Partnerships is a key leadership role within the Income and Engagement Directorate. Operational Leadership and Governance
- Overall accountability for the operations of the foundation

Financial Management

Systems and controls
- Lead in the development, implementation and monitoring of effective procurement systems and procedures, ensuring that FNF achieves best value and drives efficiencies through our external contracts
