The main role requirements for this role include:
- An appropriate social work qualification
- Up-to-date registration with Social Work England
- Post-qualifying experience in fostering/family placements or other childcare settings
- Suitable experience in supporting and supervising 10-12 foster families to meet the complex needs of the looked-after young people
- A proven track record in working with and on behalf of children, respecting and maintaining their individuality and promoting their positive development.
- Experience in group work and/or delivery of training.
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation including the Fostering National Minimum Standards and Fostering regulations.
- Suitable experience of working with/supporting looked after children and their foster carers.
- Ability to prioritise, plan and self-organise efficiently.
- Capable of using electronic records systems and IT effectively, including participating in virtual meetings and webinars.
The successful candidate will be required to travel to visit foster families located in North East around Newcastle to the Tess Valley, with occasional travel to Yorkshire. There will also be the requirement to travel anywhere within the region to attend staff meetings and team away days.
In addition to the annual salary, the successful candidate will be paid an Out of Hours Allowance of £1,500 p.a. once participating in the relevant rota.

This is a vital role designed to support the team's delivery of partnerships and assist with growing partnerships. Key duties and responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer, you will be responsible for; providing administrative and fundraising support, developing and stewarding relationships, alongside managing and nurturing a portfolio of partners with support from the SCPO/Managers in the team.
The post holder will:
-Provide administrative and fundraising support to enable the delivery of corporate partnerships.
-With the Corporate Partnerships Officers, be responsible for administrative duties for the team including sending thank you letters to donors, replying to enquiries to the corporate unit email account, monitoring stock levels and ordering fundraising materials.

About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join Sense's engagement team at this exciting time, as Head of National Events. You will be leading the National Events team to deliver against Sense’s ambitious strategy, inspiring and supporting the team. This Includes:

Charity People are pleased to be supporting Tempo Time Credits, a charity that brings people together in local communities to carry out valued and important voluntary work, with their search for a Community Partnership & Network Coordinator based in Neath Port Talbot.
Tempo Time Credits started 15 years ago and is an ambitious movement that empowers, encourages, and engages people from all walks of life, from communities across the UK, to get involved and volunteer. For example, befriending or helping to improve outdoor spaces. Volunteers earn Tempo Time Credits as part of a reward and recognition which can be exchanged for a range of services and activities provided by our local and national partners.
In these challenging times, community support is more crucial than ever. Tempo stands at the forefront having engaged with 40 commissioned programmes, collaborated with 1,500 charities, empowered over 15,000 volunteers, issued over 1 million Time Credits, cultivated 750+ business venues offering rewards, and pioneered the world's first national Time Credit network.
Funded by Heritage Lottery, the project you'll work on focuses on working with heritage organisations across Neath Port Talbot to increase the number and diversity of their volunteers and to recruit and retain them in a sustainable way.
Key responsibilities:
- Building and Maintaining Relationships: You will build and maintain relationships that support Tempo objectives, seek to understand stakeholder requirements, and support organisations face to face providing advice and guidance around Time Credits.
- Communicating & Influencing: communicate openly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders, create local social media content and newsletters, persuade others using evidence-based knowledge.
- Volunteer Management: You will manage a team of local volunteers in each locality that provide on the ground support and add capacity in the local community.
The Community Partnership & Network Coordinator will have proven experience in managing and building relationships with stakeholders from third, public or business sectors, and monitoring business plans and budgets. The successful candidate will be able to work with senior executives and Government officials, plan and juggle multiple projects at once, and have knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office. You will have attention to detail, planning and organisational skills, and will be able to negotiate both internally and externally.
You will have strong account management skills and have experience of managing or working with volunteers. You will be experienced in working within a role with a varied, demanding workload with the ability to adapt to change, deliver results, and work independently, as well as part of a team. The successful candidate will be proactive and passionate about communities and creating positive, lasting change, with an awareness of the voluntary sector and its opportunities and challenges.
The role is part time and could either be 3 or 4 days (between 21 and 28 hours) with flexibility on when those hours are done, such as 21 hours over 4 days. The role will be subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check.

Nottingham, Leicester and Leicestershire Citizens
These 2 well established Citizens UK alliances have more than 17 years of organising between them with over 50 member organisations and a team of 3 organisers. As Citizens UK moves towards a more regional approach, we are seeking a Senior Organiser with the talent, vision, experience, hunger, emotional intelligence and relational skills to lead this organising team as they build both Nottingham and Leicester Citizens chapters.
These alliances have previously won campaigns around low pay, refugee rights, hate crime, housing, mental health and much more. Currently, their main strategic relationships are with multi-academy trusts and Anglican Dioceses. Nottingham and Leicester/Leicestershire Citizens are currently running campaigns on migration justice, racial equity in education, access to healthcare.
Our ideal candidate for the position will have a track record of making things happen, be able to work with a high degree of independence, are comfortable with uncertainty, and able to think strategically as well as operationally. They will be interested in understanding and working with different sectors and types of organisations, as well as engaging with people from a wide range of faiths and cultures which are different to their own. They will be excited about building the power of civil society and be able to communicate that effectively to others. They will learn and teach the craft of broad-based organising and be interested in receiving feedback to support their own development and growth. They will build and maintain relationships with a large number of leaders across the region and coach them to take action together on a common agenda.
Purpose
The Senior Organiser will work closely with the Midlands Assistant Director to develop a strategy to build power and create change. They will be responsible for line managing a team of 2-3 associate and community organisers. Together, they will work with community leaders to find and develop community leadership talent, develop campaign plans, raise funds, maintain the current network while recruiting new dues-paying member organisations and work with a range of community leaders to win systemic change. The candidate will have an anger for injustice and experience of working on campaigns as well as significant management experience. About The Role:
The successful candidate will support the Community and Challenge Event Manager to find ways to increase engagement and bring fresh ideas to the team and steward fundraisers. This role will be responsible for maximising the value of fundraisers by helping to develop and deliver their supporter journey with MQ, whilst supporting the wider marketing team with producing content including blogs and social media.
Here's a summary of your key responsibilities:

Experience of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge/NXT is desirable but not essential.

The fundraising team generates more than £10m every year, around half of which comes through gifts left to the charity as legacies. Your new role
We need a dynamic, innovative and driven lottery administrator curious about data, and passionate about using data to solve problems. You will have an excellent knowledge of relational databases and be experienced in importing, selecting, analysing and validating large data sets.
Responsible for all administration of the St Christopher’s monthly lottery, you will help grow our lottery donors with accurate and efficient data entry and timely report production. Working with the Individual Giving Manager you will ensure full compliance with all Gambling Commission and other regulatory regulations.
