Director – Horse Rangers Association
The Horse Rangers Association (Hampton Court) (HRA) is a young people’s charity, supporting personal development by teaching the management and riding of horses. It also works to encourage and develop young people and adults with disabilities who participate in our Riding for the Disabled (RDA) lessons during the week.The organisation has just celebrated its 70th anniversary. It is led by our Director, who reports to our board of trustees, and is based at the Bushy Park Stockyard. The work with young people is delivered by a senior volunteer team mainly at weekends, supported by the Stable Manager and her staff team, with organisation and back up support by the office team. The charity looks after 25 horses, and teaches riding and horse husbandry, to our 300 Ranger members.
Our Director is retiring this autumn after six successful years and we are looking to appoint his successor. The salary is £55k - £65k, with a range of other benefits and the option of flexible hours working.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES OF JOB
Leadership
● Developing and setting future strategic direction to ensure that the charity evolves and remains both relevant and financially stable in today’s environment.
● Management of Office and Stable teams, providing leadership and support to both.
● Building strong working relationships between the Stable staff, Riding for the Disabled Volunteers, Officers, parents, donors and members of the HRA, and Trustees.
● Acts as an ambassador for the HRA organisation when organising and leading on HRA key activities and events throughout the year.
● Working to create a highly motivated team that works together to achieve shared goals, developing budgets and plans, conducting appraisals and providing coaching.
● Continuously develop and improve systems and processes undertaken by the HRA team, ensuring particularly the maximisation of membership and fundraising income.
● Ensuring the highest standard of safeguarding when working with children.
Fundraising Strategy
● Leading on the development of the HRA to achieve a long term fundraising strategy in line with the vision and values of HRA.
● Developing and implementing a clear fundraising strategy to secure ongoing funding, including identification of new areas of growth, work programme opportunities and diverse funding streams.
● Developing publicity and marketing tools (including digital) to maximise fundraising income.
● Building, maintaining, and overseeing the stewardship of key stakeholder relationships throughout the year.
● Preparing the annual fundraising plan to ensure that HRA is financially secure and able to achieve its objectives in the future.
Communications and Events Management
● Developing and implementing a communications plan to ensure publicity and marketing of fundraising activities throughout the year.
● Encouraging and actively engaging in positive cross-communications between Stable staff, Senior Volunteers, RDA Volunteers and weekend members.
● Keeping staff, members and Trustees informed of events throughout the year.
● Seeking, listening and responding to the views and ideas of staff and members.
Estate Management
● Ensuring all aspects of maintenance are managed, liaising with appropriate services.
● Developing and managing strong working relationships with key stakeholders in estate management, while reviewing the future needs of the charity including possible future sites.

IPEM is looking for an enthusiastic, proactive individual to support colleagues and volunteers at our office on Tadcaster Road, York. The main focus of the job is to ensure that our office is a pleasant place to work for everyone and that our volunteers have the necessary administrative support to carry out their duties. This role provides support to LGBTQ+ people who have experienced domestic abuse and are living in safe accommodation in the community. The goal is to help people prepare for independent living in their own tenancies. The Resettlement Worker will meet with each resident to assess their needs and agree goals which will help them achieve independence. The Resettlement Worker then puts together a support plan and meets regularly with service users to provide support, challenge and encouragement as they make their journey.
Key Responsibilities

Main Duties of the Post
Support Sessions
• To give holistic support to LGBTQ+ people accessing our domestic abuse resettlement service and to provide proactive support to these service users who are sometimes hard to engage.
• To meet face to face with service users regularly to provide structured support, in relation to LGBTQ+ and Housing specific issues, such as gender identity pathways, mental health services, health issues, safeguarding, liaising with the professional network.
• To work with LGBTQ+ people to develop and review individual support plans and risk assessments.
• To liaise with other service providers ensuring service users receive the necessary support to sustain their accommodation, acquire relevant independent living skills, maintain or improve positive physical and mental health and access into meaningful occupation of their time.
Financial Support
• To assist service users in maximising and managing their income including universal credit, ESA, PIP and Housing Benefit.
Semi-independent Living Support
• To work with service users to enable them to develop the life and social skills necessary to sustain their accommodation and prepare them for independent living.
• To assess individual service user’s suitability for independent accommodation.
• To act quickly to manage incidents and to advise, support and assist service users unable to maintain supported accommodation into more appropriate housing options.
Resettlement
• To support service users in the completion of application forms necessary to support move-on housing, including the private rented sector.
• To ensure that all service users are provided with information about local services whilst in safe accommodation and during their move on.
• To ensure all service users are fully aware of their rights and responsibilities in their home.
• To work with housing providers, both public and private, to negotiate move on options.
Groupwork, Consultation and Participation
• To work as part of a team in developing user participation.
• To identify and develop appropriate and flexible processes for consulting with our service users, via social media platforms, newsletters, events and workshops.
• To devise innovative and creative ways of involving LGBTQ+ people in the running of the service with an independent approach.
• Supporting our service users to participate in group and peer support and to access online support mechanisms.

Main Job Purpose: Administrative support to FoNS team, CEO and Board of Trustees
Responsible and professionally accountable to: Programme Manager
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week (either full days or flexible hours)

- Office Management
- Build and maintain good rapport with internal and external colleagues.

Job summary
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our small but mighty Partnerships and Philanthropy fundraising team. The team is made up of seven fundraisers focusing on securing high-value gifts with big impact, both from companies and from trusts and foundations.

The Role
Reporting to the UX Manager, the Junior UX Designer role will help develop user-centred products and services across our website and other digital platforms, with a strong focus on accessibility, usability and engagement to support those impacted by stroke.

The role will support Disabled people to sign up to the Priority Service Register, leading to longer term energy savings and ensuring sufficient support through winter. This role will also be be able to help people heat their homes and stay warm in winter, with access to hot food through the provision of fuel vouchers, winter essentials and appliances.
In addition, the Involvement Officer will also set up a peer advocacy service to facilitate Disabled people and people with long term health conditions to come together to discuss issues and support each other.
Introduction to the role
We know that the Cost-of-Living crisis has disproportionately affected Disabled people therefore we want to do everything we can to support our members during this difficult time.
This role will support Disabled residents in Surrey to apply for energy efficiency upgrades to their homes as well as set up and run a peer advocacy service for Disabled People and those living with long term health conditions.
Main responsibilities
1. To set up and deliver group advocacy – Hold a bi-weekly peer support virtual meeting.
2. Run 'Ask a peer' sessions on our community forum each
Month (for example completing PIP applications etc)
3. Fuel Vouchers – 200 residents supported via the fuel vouchers scheme
4. Winter Essentials – 250 residents supported
5. Energy Efficient Appliances – 100 residents supported
6. In Home Visits/Phone calls to residents to assist with applications to Priority Services Register and energy efficiency home upgrade schemes.
7. Help run social activities organised by The Coalition
8. Carry out further tasks requested and agreed with the Involvement Lead, appropriate to the role and grade of the job.

The role
We are seeking a dynamic Director of Income Generation to join our senior leadership team. This new and pivotal role will be responsible for developing and implementing robust income generation strategies to diversify and grow our funding and trading streams.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising or sales, building strategic partnerships, and driving innovation in income generation. As a key player in our organisation, you will lead a dedicated team and work collaboratively to ensure the sustainability and expansion of our vital programmes.
Key responsibilities
Income Generation Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive income generation strategy that aligns with the charity’s mission and goals;

Identify and explore new income streams, including fundraising, partnerships, and product development.
Fundraising:

Oversee all fundraising activities, including trusts and foundations and individual giving;

Main Duties of the Post
Casework Sessions
· To give holistic support to LGBTQ+ people accessing our advice and advocacy service and to provide proactive support to these service users who are sometimes hard to engage.
· To assess each individual’s current housing situation and form a view with regards to risk associated with their case.
· To explore all options available to the service user allowing them to make informed decisions.
· To work with LGBTQ+ people accessing the advice and advocacy to develop and review individual work plans and risk assessments.
· To have regular case work sessions to provide structured support, in relation to Housing specific issues.

About this key role
As a Specialist Caseworker, you will provide peer supervisory support to the team within the wider hospital-based services, which includes deputising for the Senior Caseworker when required, and support the Data Coordinator and Senior Caseworker with the collation of information and data for project monitoring purposes. You will develop and maintain an up-to-date and accurate resource of suitable onward referrals and develop and maintain strong relationships with both clinicians and hospital staff and with other services in the hospital, i.e CAMHS, IDVA, COMPASS.
We will count on you to identify and assess young victims of violence, producing support and risk management plans based on these assessments, and to provide support, advice and advocacy for children, young people and their families as they plan to be discharged from hospital back into the community. You will also deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, which will see you provide practical help such as social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, ETE options, benefits work, debt advice, and appearing in court.

- Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children
- Experience of providing support, advice and advocacy
- Substantial experience of assessing the needs of young people at risk of significant harm

Role Summary
Our Communications Officer plays a key role in our central Communications team, working collaboratively with colleagues to create impactful messages which are consistent, clear and well-planned. Through this work, you’ll support thousands of people across three key work programmes – Behaviour Change, Culture Shift and Information and Advice. You’ll have a particular focus in supporting the Senior Communications Manager with messaging across emails, our website and other digital channels, and play a key role in developing content with people who want to share their own experiences of alcohol and alcohol harm. Children’s Wellbeing Practitioner
Location: Waltham Forest, London
Salary: £32,000 per annum, pro rata
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until March 2025
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Are you passionate about young people and eager to play a pivotal role in the implementation and development of a new mental health service, aimed at improving the mental wellbeing of children, young people and their families in Waltham Forest?
The Role
Our client is looking for a dynamic and flexible CWP / EMHP / CYP IAPT Practitioners who, with the support of the Service Manager and Clinical Lead, will hold a caseload of young people across their Waltham Forest sites.
The organisation have been commissioned by the London Borough of Waltham Forest to deliver high-quality, evidence based interventions to young people across the borough. The post holder will provide support for children, adolescents and their families who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. They will deliver evidence-based 1:1 and group interventions across various sites in Waltham Forest. These interventions will employ the principles of the CYP-IAPT initiative. The post holder will develop partnerships with key individuals across youth services, CAMHs clinicians, and Education providers to support the development and improvement of children’s Mental Health Services in the borough.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide a thorough assessment of mental health needs in collaboration with young people and their families
• Take responsibility for managing own caseload, including group work.
• Work in partnership with Primary Mental Health, CAMHS, Schools and GPs
• Provide evidence-based mental health provision to children, young people and their families for mild to moderate mental health difficulties
• Develop, support and train parents and professionals, whilst innovating practice within and outside of the organization.
• Provide support to volunteer group facilitators as appropriate.
Skills and Qualifications
• Committed to working to improve children and young people’s mental health
• Qualified therapeutic practitioner with experience delivering evidence-based interventions, and an interest in working with young people (5 - 17)
• Experience delivering CBT based interventions.
• Knowledge and understanding of the barriers young people can face when accessing mental health support.
• Eager to develop your skills as a practitioner, and to foster new ideas/creative modes of delivery to response to the needs and wishes of young people across the borough.

Job title: Employment Adviser
Location: Hybrid, contracted to work at our Manchester office at least 2 days a week

Purpose of the role:
We are looking for candidates with experience of supporting individuals with barriers to work into paid employment. Within this role you will carry a significant responsibility, managing a caseload of clients from a refugee background and supporting them in securing meaningful employment, training, and education opportunities.
You will provide one-to-one personalised support, delivering quality Information Advice and Guidance (IAG), alongside ongoing support to ensure your clients have all the skills they need to get into work. This involves working with clients to produce individual action plans with clear goals and actions to overcome identified needs and barriers and provide a clear pathway towards the labour market.
You will work with clients online and by phone, as well as in person to monitor their progress towards their goals. Complementary support will be delivered through our volunteers who are trained in delivering employment advice, and you will book weekly appointments for clients, allocating time slots according to availability and the volunteer’s specialty.
You will also work with specialist referral partners to support clients to overcome complex barriers to employment. We offer a strong team environment, where your ideas and drive will be welcomed and where you as an individual can make a real difference to people’s lives.

The role of the Volunteer Coordinator and Studio Assistant is to provide support for volunteering activity across the organisation and visitor engagement within the new Studio space and Ground Floor Gallery.
