About the role
The Communications and Social Media Manager is responsible for overseeing the messaging and digital content of Help Musicians and sister charity, Music Minds Matter.
As a creative thinker, you will support the Communications team and wider organisation to deliver on-message content that connects with audiences. You will help the charities grow by consistently delivering engaging content across various platforms, focusing on on the purpose of the communication and how to achieve it.
With extensive knowledge of how to leverage social media, you will grow the charities’ audiences through innovative and interesting content that meets multiple departmental goals.
About you
As a dynamic and strategic communicator with a passion for driving brand success, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the charity’s voice and impact.
In this role, you’ll implement social media strategies that align with organisational and brand goals. Your management skills will be key as you support and guide the communications team to achieve multiple objectives, set KPIs, and deliver results. Main Responsibilities:

To be successful in this International Finance Manager role, you will have prior experience and knowledge of;

- ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CA qualified
- Experience of leading across the finance function is key (or at least leading on multiple aspects of the finance function)
- Experience of leading/managing the external audit process, as well as a practical experience of annual accounts preparation, reconciliations and double-entry bookkeeping.

The Trust & Foundations Development Manager will play a key role in enabling the optimisation of the Charity’s net income from UK and global Trusts, Foundations and Lottery funding sources. Develop a pipeline of new funding opportunities from both UK and global Trusts and Foundations, whilst developing relationships with existing funders.

Take a lead role in the management of successful grant applications to ensure that reports to funders are delivered in a timely and effective manner, reviewing narrative and financial reports to ensure donor requirements have been met, and consulting with and ensuring input from relevant technical and financial staff.

We’re looking for the following skills and experience for this role:

Substantial experience of identifying, negotiating and securing significant new partnerships from large scale Trusts and Foundations based in the UK and globally.

Excellent track record of developing existing Trust and Foundation partnerships through excellent account management techniques.

Experience of developing compelling audience focused cases for support to drive engagement and long-term value from Trusts & Foundations, Lottery and where appropriate, Institutional funding sources.

Proven experience working with senior volunteers, influencers or advisers to achieve Trust and Foundation fundraising success either in peer-led fundraising (such as development boards) or peer-peer fundraising (such as giving networks) or by working in partnership with senior stakeholders on individual approaches.

Experience of deploying prospect research to support the development of relationships with target trust and foundation funding sources.

Interest and/or understanding of the issue of UK homelessness and the grant funding landscape in relation to those organisations and NGOs seeking to impact upon it.

About the role
The London Library is planning a major, multi-year building project and is looking for a Senior Facilities Officer - Project Management to work within the Buildings and Facilities Management team to help support and deliver the project.
As part of a small, hands-on team, this new role will also support the Library’s maintenance and improvement programmes, arranging contractor works and providing liaison with colleagues across the Library. The post reports to the Buildings & Facilities Manager. Some weekend and out of hours working will be required.
About you
You will hold an appropriate formal qualification within a relevant discipline, with previous experience of facilities project management, preferably in the charity, cultural or not-for-profit sector. A proven background in either FM or managing numerous refurbishments and maintenance projects is essential, along with experience of working in construction and maintenance environments, understanding and compliance of H&S law and construction regulations.
Experienced in managing budgets and project finance, the ability to build client and stakeholder relationships using exceptional inter-personal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to achieving organisational goals on time, whilst working accurately and methodically, are all a must.
You are pleasant, approachable, welcoming, helpful, and responsive even under pressure, willing to turn a hand to whatever needs doing on occasion, with a flexible approach to working hours, including out of hours cover.

Job purpose
The Safe Haven Deputy Manager’s role is to be part of the Safe Haven management team and jointly ensure effective delivery of high-quality service for adults experiencing mental health crisis in Oxfordshire. The postholder will be required to independently lead a safe and effective shift and offer crisis mental health support for people presenting in mental health crisis including assessing risks, facilitating re-focusing activities, and conducting one-to-one support sessions on the phone and face to face focusing on person-centred listening, grounding, safety planning and exploring coping strategies. The Deputy Manager will lead on shift handovers and provide support to staff on day-to-day activities as well as provide one-to-one supervision for their direct reports.
The team takes part in handovers, one to one supervision and complex case discussions to aid their ability to reflect, learn and support Safe Haven service users within the remit of the service.

As Grants & Development Officer you will work closely with the Management Team and be responsible for the successful grants and fundraising activity for core and project-based work, as well as developing new income generation opportunities.
Grants, Fundraising and Other Income Generation:
· Undertake regular prospect research to identify potential funding streams and prioritise opportunities based around local, community, and organisational need.
· Work with the Management Team, to identify, apply for and secure funding through appropriate and successful grant and tender applications.
· Maintain and strengthen relationships with current and future sponsors and supporters, including funding organisations and partners.
· Work with the Board and Management Team to help diversify our income sources to enable the organisation to continue its growth and demonstrate sustainability.
· Scope alternative / additional sources of funding, such as corporate sponsorship and membership opportunities.
· Research and develop new income generation opportunities, such as the setting up of a profit-making business(es) that donates its profit to the charity.
· Maintain and manage effective electronic records in support of all fundraising and grant application duties.
· Work with the whole team and beneficiaries, to write up appropriate case studies to support income generation.
· Co-ordinate and develop a rolling programme of community fundraising and awareness raising events as well as beneficiary involvement initiatives.
Supporting Strategic Development:
· Analyse and understand the organisation’s existing goals, vision, and priorities so new initiatives are in alignment in order to guide and recognise the journey of Middleport Matters.
· Regularly review the projects, initiatives, and priorities of the organisation, and analyse them against our strategic aims to ensure they are aligned.
· Regularly review the strengths and weaknesses of Middleport Matters and thereby our capabilities, that are significant to our current and future growth (e.g. SWOT analysis).
· Conduct research (locally and nationally), to comprehend the organisation’s strategic options for the future and the business environment that we are situated within (e.g. PESTLE analysis).
· Provide analysis and recommendations around the structure, growth, and direction of the organisation, that are creative, challenging, realistic, and focused (using relevant data, business models, and statistics in order to regularly report on the current position of the business).
· Work with the Board and Management Team to support the continued development and implementation of the organisation’s strategic plan, business plan and operational plan.
· Develop and maintain relationships with other non-profit leaders, for example, looking for opportunities to partner with other organisations to serve the community.
· Work with leaders in the business and government world, cultivating long-term strategic partnerships or donor relationships to increase the organisation's effectiveness serving unmet needs.
