Our Marketing and Communications Manager will play a key role in growing our reach and influence, building Kentown Support’s brand across the children’s palliative care sector.  

In this home based role, you will use your creative flair to develop and deliver strategic communications and marketing plans to our audiences using a range of channels. We are looking for an experienced Grants Commissioning Manager to join our Grants & Commissioning Team based in Portsmouth. Experience and Background

Hours of Work

Hours of work are 35 hours per week, 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.

The salary range for the post is between £ 38,000 to £ 45,000 per annum, according to skills and experience.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Children and Young People’s Services, to join an ambitious healthcare charity based in Leatherhead.

As Head of Children and Young People’s Services, you will be lead, manage and develop the services in this area, providing overarching leadership, and management.

The Head of the department needs to monitor the needs of the service, and where possible find creative and innovative ways to develop the service and address growing and changing needs. Job Title: Partnerships Engagement Coordinator (Inspiring the Future)

Reports to: Partnerships Manager

Location: Quantum House, 22 – 24 Red Lion Court, Fleet Street, EC4A 3AB. The role is open to hybrid working but the candidate would be expected to be in the office one day per week

Purpose: This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a newly created post in the role of Partnerships Engagement Coordinator for Education and Employers on the internationally recognised Inspiring the Future programme. The Charity aims to ensure that all young people have the inspiration, motivation, knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to help them achieve their potential.

This key post is part of the Partnerships Team with responsibility for supporting the team to deliver various showcase virtual and face-to-face events and activities involving a diverse range of volunteers from the world of work. The role is rewarding and varied and will include supporting delivery of funded partnerships and general administrative support. 

Remuneration: £24-25k per annum

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Partnerships Manager and working closely with colleagues in the Partnerships Team, the Partnerships Engagement Coordinator is responsible for working closely with volunteers and school staff to support successful delivery of interactive activities aimed at schools and young people under key funded projects for the charity’s Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes. These programmes leverage technology to raise the aspirations and broaden the horizons of children and young people by connecting them to a huge range of volunteers from the world of work via career related learning activities.

The Partnerships team are responsible for relationship management of the key corporate and charity partners for the charity’s Inspiring the Future and Primary Futures programmes. • Supporting the engagement of employers and volunteers in special activities within funded projects.
• Tracking and reporting back to Partnership Manager and Events Lead on delivery against agreed targets
• Using Salesforce CRM to support with data management, assisting with maintaining up to date records and supporting data cleansing as needed
• Recruiting and engaging schools according to the geographic or sector focus of a funded partnership
• Setting up virtual and face-to-face activities including school liaison, securing volunteers, organising events via the Inspiring the Future system and hosting on tech platforms (Zoom, MS Teams etc)
• Facilitating interactive virtual and face to face activities to connect pupils with volunteers through themed sessions, Q&A or job guessing-game format.
• Supporting and co-hosting teacher training sessions, staff meetings and info webinars to promote Inspiring the Future and encourage engagement and independent usage of the platform.

Our day centre service is currently open three days per-week offering respite, food and somewhere safe to be for anyone facing street homelessness. It provides advocacy and casework services to those who are vulnerably housed or homeless, supporting them to address their individual crisis and the underlying causes. We also provide a small year-round night shelter provision. 

APAP works in close partnership with a number of key agencies locally including drug and alcohol teams, street outreach services, local authority housing teams and the wider VCS. We are a gateway service in the community through which our clients can access a range of support. 

This role will require a keen interest in homelessness and the devastating impact this can have on people. This is a new role which would suit someone with experience of recruiting and managing volunteers. The role will entail expanding our volunteer base, developing processes and procedures to effectively support them and managing them on site. The role will report to the Senior Project Worker.

St Giles and The Wise Group came together to form a partnership with the aim of supporting the Probation Resettlement reforms by offering a high-quality service underpinned by staff who have lived experience and cultural competency. As a result, we have been awarded contracts to deliver Women’s Services for North Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, and Durham. The service will provide holistic support to sentenced women in the community and those sentenced and un-sentenced in custodial settings.

About this key role

Our successful candidate will monitor and manage the receipt of referrals from Probation through the Customer Approved System (CAS) ensuring they are successfully assigned to Personal Wellbeing Coaches using the appropriate guidance and process, ensure all inputting is accurate and within agreed timescales, plus provide regular activity reports to the Personal Wellbeing Manager.  You will be the primary point of contact for all enquiries, external and internal to ensure communication channels are clear and effective, while also liaising with external stakeholders (e.g. Prisons), delivery partners, spot purchase providers and other agencies to arrange appointments, referrals, and generally ensure information exchanged is done in a clear, timely and effective manner.

Developing and maintaining an Estates log and diary to ensure the team always have an approved site to meet service users in mandated locations when needed and providing administration for meetings, including bookings, invitations and minute-taking, are also vital duties.

What we are looking for

• Experience of managing a case management system including inputting data and creating reports.
• Experience of working in services providing administrative support in a busy, pressurised environment.
• Experience of working in services which provide support to people who have faced adversity and disadvantage.
• Ability to develop and maintain means by which compliance with policy and procedure can be effectively monitored and reported on including financial expenditure.
• Ability to manage their workload including prioritising tasks and communicating with colleagues where delegation or allocation is required.
• Ability to create and communicate performance reports in a variety of formats.
• Ability to input data onto Customer Relationship Management Systems accurately and within agreed deadlines.

About You

The Central Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the Central Operations Manager with administrative support for the Society, which includes finance administration, membership and grants administration and journal sales processing. There is also a requirement for the postholder to support with some facilities management and office support activities.
The postholder will contribute to and support the Central Operations Manager and the Chief Operations Officer in the delivery of all of the Trustee Board’s strategic objectives and particularly in relation to long-term sustainability by maximising cost savings and efficiencies.

Please note that the organisation operates a hybrid working policy, and there is a requirement for the post holder to be in the office 3 days a week.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in data management and Raiser's Edge to support the Advancement department.

In this role, you will manage and improve the Raiser's Edge database, ensuring data accuracy, supporting fundraising and membership initiatives, and overseeing the Database team. This includes oversight of facilities management, health & safety, lettings, team leadership, and budget management. The role ensures the business centre is well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and operational performance is continuously improved. Role Responsibilities:

Centre Operations Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business centre, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained, compliant, and running smoothly.

• Draft lease documentation and ensure timely renewals and support the rollout of any rent reviews.
• Carry out twice-yearly audits of lease documentation.
• Maintain relationships with tenants to support retention and satisfaction.
• Monitor lease management by team, lease compliance and resolution of any lease-related issues.

Customer Service

• Act as a point of contact for tenants, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Foster strong relationships with tenants, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing tenants with the goal of maintaining high occupancy levels.

Financial Management

• Manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective management of resources and that projects are delivered within budget.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to secure cost-effective deals.
• Ensure tenant arrears are regularly monitored and managed.

Line Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage the lettings and maintenance teams, ensuring high performance and productivity.

• Handle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding of staff members as needed.

Essential Skills / Experience
