About the post
The post is currently funded until 31st March 2026 with a possibility of further extension. You will be one of two Team Leaders supporting the Service Manager to implement a trauma informed approach to delivering refuge services.

Chester and Wirral pathway is a community based project that will assist people in hospital ready for discharge home from mental health inpatient settings .
Your role will be in supporting patients in various hospital settings to overcome the barriers to them leaving hospital . This will include being part of MDT meetings , housing and benefits support ,utility reconnection, identifying housing and a package of 12 week support upon discharge from hospital . Ideally candidates will have good housing experience . This is an agile role that will require travel between hospitals and the community .
Your challenge will be to support individuals with complex mental health needs to feel in control of their care, access mental health support and other local opportunities and build their emotional resilience. You’ll manage a caseload of individuals with mental health concerns, formulating support plans and establishing positive relationships with a range of multidisciplinary organisations.
You’ll need a significant understanding of mental health issues and substantial experience of working within a mental health setting where you dealt with ‘high risk’ clients and managing resources effectively. A good understanding of recovery and coproduction is important too, as is a proven ability to lead, supervise and motivate staff and delegate work appropriately. Adept at managing conflicting demands and priorities on time, you have a flexible attitude to working hours and, above all, keen to be part of something new and worthwhile that will change lives.

About the service
Children and young people who are looked after don’t always have a trusted adult that they can rely upon for support, with many young people not having someone that they can talk to or trust.
Our independent visitor service provides looked after children and young people with an adult volunteer who spends time with them, offering support and friendship whilst being a positive role model to enable young people to build on their confidence and self-esteem, whilst helping learn new skills and raise their aspirations.
About the role
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic IV Coordinator who will be responsible for the day to day running of the independent visitor service in Solihull and Bedford, splitting your time between these two services working 27 hours for Solihull and 8 hours for Bedford.
You will be responsible for managing and developing a pool of volunteers which includes the recruitment, training, and induction of new volunteers to become volunteer independent visitors, before matching them with a young person who has been referred to the service.
You will provide continuous support to volunteers to ensure that the service is being delivered to a high standard, and that children and young people are safeguarded at all times.
You will also be responsible for monitoring volunteer visits, budgets and ensuring that risk assessments are undertaken as required, whilst acting as a link between NYAS and the local authority by liaising with social workers, carers and other professionals.

The Role
We have a rewarding opportunity for a School Impact Officer to train, support and develop volunteers and monitor the programme through effective administration, data management and to build a deep partnership between the school and the charity.
The Impact Officer is based predominantly in a school and is the primary link between the partner schools and the programme and is the enabler of the programme delivery. This is a really exciting time to join the gambling support sector, we are at the forefront of providing new and innovative services, supporting gamblers, affected others and organisations in different communities and sectors.
We are seeking one candidate, who has proven experience of delivering support and training services for vulnerable adults, such as in the mental health or addiction sectors. Experience either serving in the military or working with Veterans is important for this role. The Armed Forces Peer Aid Co-ordinator will supervise and work with voluntary Peer Supporters, ensuring a safe and effective network of support is established.
The post holder will work alongside the Head of Peer Support services to oversee recruitment and training of Peer Supporters, assess for additional support needs and personal development goals, and ensure that they are adequately prepared and trained for the role. Thereafter, the Peer Aid Co-ordinator will manage cohorts of Peer Supporters and monitor and evaluate their engagement with referred service users. This will include helping to provide additional services, such as group meetings and meet ups.

About us
Women and Girls Network (WGN) was established in 1987 and has spent over 30 years supporting women and girls across London affected by gendered violence. This includes childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape, prostitution (including trafficking and sexual exploitation), female genital mutilation (FGM), and so-called ‘honour’ based crimes such as forced marriage.
Our goal is to promote, preserve, and restore the mental health and wellbeing of women and girls, to empower them to make a total and sustainable recovery from the experiences of violence. VAWG crimes, which include domestic abuse, rape, sexual assault, stalking, and harassment, accounted for 20% of total police recorded crime in England and Wales between 2022 and 2023. About the role
We are excited to be advertising this newly created role as part of WGN’s growth. This role will be the lead on the finance function. Reporting into the Director of Finance and Resources, the role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation including executive leadership, with a specific focus on working closely with the Director and external auditors. The role will have two direct reports – Finance Business Partner and Senior Finance Officer. This is a hands-on role and will have full responsibility for the finance function on a day to day and medium-term basis. The Financial Controller is to lead on all financial systems set up and upgrades.
Although the organisation is well established, this is a growing sector, and the organisation has gone through rapid change over the past few years and is therefore offering the right candidate a great opportunity to deliver change and make a real difference to WGN’s staff and clients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management and development of the Finance Business Partner and Senior Finance Officer.
- Preparing the year-end statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors.
- Responsible for ensuring that all financial controls are implemented and adhered to within the organisation, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Supporting non-finance colleagues and stakeholders in understanding all requirements related to the funding agreements.
- Leading the month-end process with the support of the Finance Business Partner and the Senior Finance Officer.
- Leading on all financial systems set up and upgrades.
- Ensuring that all restricted funds are used in accordance with the funding agreements.
- Responsible for treasury and investment management across the organisation.
- Ensuring all payroll payments are made on time.
- Leading the procurement function across the organisation.
About you
If you are someone who has strong financial reporting, budget setting, and year end processing skills, with a keen eye on details and drive to facilitate change and enhance the finance function this role would be for you.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in working with the charity sector in a similar role for at least two years.
- Work well with non-finance colleagues and trustees in delivering key financial reports in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Be a qualified accountant.
- Be comfortable working in a hands-on environment

Job Purpose: – Support the Senior Leadership Team with the implementation of YMCA East Surrey (YMCA ES) corporate strategy and, providing operational leadership to the HR team to ensure a professional and proactive HR service that fully supports the operational priorities of YMCA ES.

Main Responsibilities:
– Provide professional and operational HR leadership to the HR team, ensuring that the HR team has clear objectives and associated work plans, perform to the highest standards and continues to be seen as a proactive, customer focussed and trusted partner to colleagues across YMCA ES at all levels.
– Provide leadership and direction to the team to ensure appropriate, effectively risk managed and legally compliant management of Employee Relations issues on behalf of YMCA ES.
– Plan, develop and manage the delivery of HR projects.
– Lead on employee reward, ensuring that pay and benefits are fit for purpose, respond to organisational needs, enable us to recruit and retain high quality staff, and are robust and legally compliant, while ensuring effective cost controls.
– Have operational responsibility for Safeguarding regarding HR practices to ensure a strong and supportive safeguarding culture with appropriately robust systems, processes, understanding and engagement across YMCA ES.
– Ensure all HR processes are Lean, business focused and maximise the capability of the HRIS and other systems.
– Oversee the organisational monthly payroll process (delivered by the HR team), ensuring it is processed accurately, on time and meets statutory obligations.
– Manage the effective identification and selection and oversight of HR service providers and consultants, ensuring that contracts and service delivery meet specified requirements, are effective and value for money
– Understand UK, sector-wide and wider emerging HR issues, assessing their HR implications for YMCA ES and advising on/developing appropriate organisational approaches. Represent YMCA ES within the sector, and more widely where relevant, developing and maintaining a network of external contacts for effective engagement and collaboration.
– Ensure the provision of timely and accurate management information and analysis, reports to Trustees, Senior Leadership Team, Senior Managers, and external bodies to support appropriate decisions and actions.
– Any other duties are required to be performed within the grade and renumeration of the role.

You will be a Youth and Wellbeing Practitioner/Assistant Psychologist who is passionate about supporting MAC-UK’s objective of working collaboratively with young people, innovating services and systems and their approach to mental health, to address health and social inequalities. We aim to support services to be more accessible, flexible and responsive to excluded groups, and to change the systems that lead to and maintain inequality. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to develop their skills in youth and community work and/or working towards a qualification (degree equivalent) in Youth Work, Social Work, Therapeutic Practice, Clinical/Educational/Forensic/Counselling Psychology.
We are very excited to be part of a pilot service, new in England working as part of a consortium of four organisations, alongside Lambeth Council. This will be a residential support service for young people aged 16-24 years at risk of serious youth violence, who are already caught up in the criminal justice system and at high risk of remaining part of the system.
You will be working in one of three London properties alongside a large multi-agency staff team made up of experts by experience/profession in psychology and therapy; youth work; offending; education, training, and employment (ETE) and housing. The service will work creatively and holistically to enable young people to exit environments involving youth violence, identify and reach their goals and aspirations, move on successfully to appropriate independent living, and importantly to sustain this life. Wherever possible staff and young people will co-produce what this service looks like and what activities the young people engage in. This is a great opportunity if you are interested in therapeutic practice, and developing or using your therapeutic skills alongside the area of social action.
