You will enable Pecan’s frontline team to deliver the highest possible standards of service. Main Responsibilities:
- Line manage and appraise staff in line with Pecan’s procedures: Foodbank Manager, Pantry Manager, Operations Manager, and the Development Manager Community Food Programmes.
- Demonstrates strong financial literacy and business acumen.
- Develop and oversee food strategy for Pecan’s food services, implementing the vision to end the need for food banks, re‑imagining the food services offer and including a cash-first approach.
- Develop and manage partnerships with authorities, corporates, churches, community groups and networks to support the successful development of programmes.
Key Requirements (specific skills, qualifications required):
- Strong experience of managing multiple projects.
- Experience of managing staff and volunteer teams.
- A strong understanding of community food programmes.
- Demonstratable history in achieving targets.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager in the information technology (IT) field, to lead the procurement and implementation of a new Grant Management System software, on a 12 month fixed term contract. You will manage the project end-to-end, from activity planning based on already identified business requirements, to vendor selection and overseeing the deployment. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Elrha and external IT providers to ensure fit-for-purpose software implementation, smooth integration, successful training, and adoption by users.
This is a critical role where you will play a key part in advancing our operational efficiency. In addition to managing this project, you might be asked to contribute to other similar organisational projects, helping us meet our strategic objectives.
About You:
We are looking for someone with strong IT project management experience, ideally with expertise in infrastructure or software deployment. You’ll be comfortable working with complex systems, managing stakeholders, and ensuring that projects meet both technical and business requirements.

The role:
This person will have responsibility for the management, maintenance and improvement of the 185 acres of sports, nature areas, heritage parkland and gardens for the benefit of the local community and beyond. Providing support to colleagues in the development team, in the delivery of an effective and successful function of prospect research, project development, fundraising and bid writing. Main Role & Responsibilities
As our Training & Engagement Manager, Parents & Education, you will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes, with particular focus on the education and parental engagement programmes.
You will have responsibility for stakeholder engagement, developing relationships and promoting Ygam training in the North-East of England (Education) and nationally (Parents). You will recruit suitable delegates to workshops, working closely with a range of stakeholders from schools, youth organisations, children’s services to parents and carers.
You will also provide training both face to face and online and will be responsible for the delivery of our assured workshops and promoting the work of Ygam at conferences and events. You will work with organisations to collate case studies and evidence, supporting the programme's achievements and our overall impact.

Our BACP accredited Talking Therapies department has been running for over 40 years and we are historically known for providing long term psychodynamic therapy. The purpose of the job is to provide a professional reception service to all clients at our talking therapies services reception, and to carry out general administrative functions that support the Talking Therapies Office Manager and contribute to the smooth running of the charity. The receptionist/administrator is the first point of contact at the Counselling Services reception for many people and therefore needs to be warm and welcoming, a good communicator and able to respond professionally to a very varied range of callers, including people with communication difficulties or those in distress.

Main Purpose and Scope of the job
To support the Head of People with the provision of consistent and reliable Human Resources support in relation to policies and practices and with the practical application of employment law.

You will provide coaching and support to line managers in relation to all aspects of early or informal employee relations including but not limited to; Probation, performance management and capability processes, grievance and disciplinary investigations. You will Actively provide guidance to staff and managers through employee relation processes seeking early resolutions and restorative conversations in the first instance. Actively take the lead on formal employee relation case work such as grievances, suspensions, investigations and present at hearings.
Reporting and monitoring of sickness/absence levels, advising line managers to ensure a consistent approach is taken to reduce absenteeism. Oversee all Stage 1,2 and 3 absence meetings and OH reports where required.
Be integral to all organisational change developments including recommendations for change, structure and job design. Ensure organisational change is managed sensitively and in line with policy and employment law. Assist on organisational restructures and TUPE regulations in times of expansion and growth.
