This is an exciting opportunity to join the People Operations team within the People and Culture Directorate at Versus Arthritis. This role will be critical in undertaking administration tasks and processing data in relation to the volunteer and employee life cycle, along with providing advice and guidance in relation to people policy and processes.
About the role
The People Information Assistant will play a key role supporting the people journey with involvement in all aspects of the employee and volunteer life cycle including recruitment, onboarding and induction, contract variations and leaver processes with a key focus on volunteering administration. The successful candidate will also play an active part in contributing to process development and improvement and enhancing the customer experience.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Income Generation and Engagement Team as an Assistant Community Fundraiser!
As an Assistant Community Fundraiser, you will play an integral part in supporting the Community Fundraising team to reach their annual income target. You will oversee the running of the Edinburgh fundraising office, including stock management and managing a small team of volunteers. This exciting Project Assistant role will work closely with the Programme Development Officer to support the development and delivery of Reclaiming Our Power. Reclaiming Our Power will explore the impact of racist microaggressions on mental health through creative peer support workshops with people with lived experience of racism, and will use learning to co-design and co-deliver learning opportunities to people working in the public and charity sectors delivering Glasgow’s services.
This project and role are funded with thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland.
What does the role involve?
- Organising events including creative peer support workshops, volunteer meetings, and training sessions
- Supporting the co-development and co-delivery of tailored training to people training/working in public-facing services

This new role will help the Estates Team to continue to grow the number of internal and external events at our Norwich HQ, whilst ensuring all guests receive an outstanding experience.
You will provide administrative and hosting support at our Norwich HQ, ensuring all visitors and guests receive a professional and friendly welcome. Within this varied role, you will be responsible for ensuring that internal and external stakeholders receive excellent service before, during and after their event, and perform booking and event support administrative tasks such as placing catering orders, preparing the event space and diary management. You will work closely with our team of reception volunteers and will liaise regularly with colleagues across the charity to ensure that larger charity events, training courses and meetings are delivered to a high standard.
Some flexibility is required with this role to occasionally support events and functions outside of core working hours.
