To enable vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community, by providing flexible and individually tailored support.

Rota:

5 week rolling rota, working on a 4-5-6 day week pattern

Shift times:

Early: 8am-4pm

Late: 2:30pm-10:30pm

What you'll do:

Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support actions and capture outcomes in Support and Risk Management files.
Create support/action plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available.
Support customers to undertake all domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation
Develop and maintain links with all key agencies and service providers in the local community especially the local mental health system to ensure that customers receive the best treatment available
Lead on an area of specialism (e.g. , health and wellbeing) , build partnerships and develop internal and external opportunities for service-users in this area
Empower customers to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled to
Undertake all administrative work and keep accurate and comprehensive tenant/customer records to professional standards
Encourage and enable tenants to pay their rent and to ensure that rent accounts are managed effectively in conjunction with the Housing Management team
Ensure that referrals are chased proactively so that properties which can be used to house those in need are filled as efficiently as possible

Work patterns are over a 7 day shift rota (shift pattern is a mix of early shifts (8am-4pm) and late shifts (2:30pm-10:30pm) . The service operates 24 hours 7 days a week.

Background to School Food Matters

School Food Matters (SFM) exists to teach children about food and to improve children’s access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy.

Young Marketeers

This much-loved programme was started in London in 2012. It is now running in 12 cities across England and is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund for three years.  The programme provides hands-on opportunities for children from primary schools to grow fruit and veg from seed to sell at their local market. Young Marketeers is also a platform for School Food Matters to promote food education to schools and communities as a way to support children to live happy and healthy lives.  Children learn the art of growing veg from seed, and market traders will share their secrets on how to create a winning market stall.  Primary schools will be visited by our gardener in March/April and then again in May/June and receive further tips on how to ensure a bumper crop. And in July, they head to the market to sell their produce, and to meet the mayor!

Key Tasks include:

· Recruit four schools to take part in Young Marketeers

· Build and maintain relationships with teachers, teaching assistants and senior leaders to ensure the smooth running of the project

About The Role

The Social Mobility and Widening Participation Senior Officer is a vital member of the department. The post-holder will lead on the development, delivery and evaluation of sustained outreach initiatives. They will also be involved in a range of other challenging projects run across the Social Mobility and Widening Participation Department.

This role will co-lead on the delivery of K+, supporting participants on our arts, humanities and social science pathways. K+ is King’s flagship widening participation programme for sixth form and college students. The post-holder will be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive range of events for Year 12 participants as part of non-residential Spring and Summer Schools. This will involve working collaboratively with schools and teachers within Greater London and King’s target regions, King’s faculties and with corporate and charity partners.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script-work, role-play and creative media such as films and art. Throughout, we enable young people to explore their choices, rights and expectations in relationships and to recognise the early warning signs of abuse. 

We have grown rapidly in recent years, and now have an exciting and varied programme of work which is funded from a wide range of sources. We have long-standing, high-value relationships with organisations such as the Mayor’s Office, Esmée Fairbairn and Clifford Chance, and continue to grow our income from a range of supporters from trusts, foundations, corporates, individuals and community fundraisers.

We now have a need for two Development Officers to work closely with the Development Director and Development Manager in developing our trusts and foundations and statutory income streams, managing the accounts of existing supporters and generating income through securing new funding relationships. As our Training & Engagement Manager: London & South East, you will be an active member of our Programmes team and work across our portfolio of programmes with particular focus on the Education programme. 

You will be responsible for stakeholder engagement, developing relationships and promoting Ygam training in London & the South East. You will recruit suitable delegates to workshops, working closely with a range of stakeholders from the education sector. 

You will provide training both face to face and online, with responsibility for delivering our assured workshops and promoting our work at conferences and events. You will also be able to demonstrate the impact of your work by collating case studies and evidence, supporting the programme's achievements.

Please note that this role will involve regular travel in London & the South East, and occasional travel across the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with project management experience and a desire to serve churches in Southwark Diocese as part of an initiative enabling spiritual and numerical growth. 

Specific projects have been identified in places across the Diocese of Southwark where there is a clear opportunity for growth and funding has been obtained from the Church of England’s Strategic Development Funding (SDF) to support these projects. This role will be key in the successful implementation of our strategy in each of these places, ensuring the plans are implemented and all strategic and operational aspects of the project are co-ordinated and monitored.   An important component of the role is to identify the lessons that are being learned so that these can be replicated to good effect across the Diocese and the wider church. 

The Project Manager is responsible for day to day management of the project from initial set up through to successful delivery, working closely with the Programme Manager.  This will involve the implementation, co-ordination and tracking of the project plans for the projects that comprise this SDF funded initiative.

About you

• Relevant experience of managing projects in a complex environment is critical, as well as the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders from different disciplines and with differing viewpoints.
   
• You should have a good awareness and understanding of techniques for planning, monitoring and measuring programmes and projects, including risk management, with a proven ability to support organisational change. 
   
• A good understanding of the structure, breadth and dynamics of the Church of England will be important, along with the desire to serve our churches and support a fruitful future.

What the job involves

The Policy and Health Influencing teams are responsible for using clinical data and evidence to shape what the organisation thinks and to develop solutions that drive change for men with and at risk of prostate cancer. This means working with clinicians, patients and stakeholders to interpret the latest changes in prostate cancer research, care, support and treatment which will help shape our strategic direction and activities.

As the Health Improvement Coordinator, you're key to supporting these teams. You'll have a varied and far-reaching portfolio of work and sometimes arranging important stakeholder events and meetings ensuring we're hearing from people who've been through prostate cancer themselves. You'll also help share our work on social media and capturing the outcomes of our external engagement.

In this role you’ll assist us in keeping track of and evaluating our progress in line with our organisational strategy, as well as keeping an eye on trends in the wider cancer and health landscape and reporting on them. Plus, you'll handle budget matters and make sure we have effective budget monitoring mechanisms in place.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a Coordinator who is highly organised, an effective communicator and know how to adapt and effectively prioritise your time. You’ll have excellent coordination skills and can organise others too (especially teams which are based across the UK) and have experience of creating and updating forward planners, project schedules and streamlining team processes. You’ll be able to comfortably engage with senior managers and a breadth of external senior level stakeholders. Regularly taking the initiative to drive improvements so that the teams you support can operate efficiently.

With skills in collecting and utilising data to monitor, trend, and report on activity, you're proactive in acting on the results. You’ll have some experience or interest in working in the health or volunteer sector. You’re also quick to learn and capable at picking up new systems including those for budget management and products’ fulfilment.

We are seeking a Project Research Officer to join our small team to work on a new project, which examines the use of data and powers by HMRC in addressing offshore tax compliance.

HOURS: Part time, 2 days per week (15hrs). A flexible working policy is offered, with core working hours of 1000hrs-1500hrs.

CONTRACT: 24 month fixed term contract, subject to successfully completing a three month probationary period.

LOCATION: Remote, with periodic in-person team meetings (quarterly).

BENEFITS: 24 days paid annual leave per year pro rated, plus eight Bank Holidays. A contribution of up to £175pcm towards a co-working desk.

WHO ARE WE: TaxWatch is the UK’s only charity dedicated to compliance and sound administration of the law in the field of taxation. We are an investigative think tank which conducts forensic research and analysis on tax compliance, tax policy, and tax law, publishing our research to improve public understanding of these issues. We are independent of any political party.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working with the Director and existing Research Analyst to conduct a research project examining the ways in which HMRC addresses offshore compliance, with a focus on its use of information and existing enforcement powers, identifying areas where compliance could be improved.

Develop and undertake the research project within specified timescales, from inception to delivery, in collaboration with the wider TaxWatch team, driving the project forward, providing updates on progress the Director and Trustees. This will involve:

· Identifying key stakeholders relevant to the project, developing and building relationships, conducting interviews, gaining insight from their knowledge and experiences and identifying areas for further investigation.

· Requesting and analysing information from HMRC.

· Analysing both qualitative and quantitative data to identify key findings and making policy and procedural recommendations based on the findings.

· Producing high quality written work, including long form written reports based on the research undertaken.

· Liaising with other organisations, journalists, politicians and government bodies to publicise the findings of the report.

· A limited amount of administrative tasks that support the running of the project including documentation of research findings and tracking Freedom of Information requests on team systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

ESSENTIAL:

· Critical thinking and a curious mindset, particularly seeking out and analysing data, from both qualitative and quantitative sources.

· Strong writing capability. TaxWatch is an organisation that places a high priority on concise and effective written style. Research must be clear, accurate and to the point.

· Ability to work remotely while working co-operatively with wider team. Organised and logical in approach.

· Self motivated. Able to successfully manage own time, work, and hit deadlines.

· Comfortable with statistics, and explaining complex issues to non-specialist audiences.

· Confident communicator and able to express their thoughts clearly, representing TaxWatch credibly to external stakeholders.

DESIRABLE

· A good understanding of offshore tax compliance and how HMRC currently addresses it.

· Knowledge of the current legislation pertaining to the taxation of offshore income and gains, and the enforcement powers held by HMRC.

· Recent employment or work experience in HMRC with either Fraud Investigation Service (FIS) or Risk & Intelligence Service (RIS).

About the Role:
AThe Communications Project Manager is responsible for leading the project management and the delivery to 2 discreet pieces of work at WaterAid UK. The first, a major global marketing campaign, and the second, a piece of sector leading research. 

The role will work across teams and departments to coordinate, steward, and facilitate the success of the projects through active stakeholder and task management, project transparency and supporting collaboration. They will ensure alignment with the set strategic goals of each project, drive key milestones and co-ordinate cross functional delivery teams.

This role is for an experienced project manager who is skilled in navigating complex environments, is a highly skilled communicator, and holds an understanding of communications as a marketing discipline.

You’ll also: 
Facilitating Decision Making and Delivery Progress

• Chair and coordinate delivery groups and be accountable for delivery of the project on time, on budget and to a high standard of work.
• Ensure key milestones are completed to appropriate timelines.
• Responsible for the delivery of key drivers of progress such as briefs into specialist teams including analytics, market insight, creative content.
• Support the delivery teams to make decisions and commit to actions. Resolve project challenges quickly by analysing issues, surfacing progress options, and implementing solutions to keep the project moving forward.
• Support representatives within delivery teams to take ownership of their remits and actions – helping unblock challenges, holding them accountable to actions and managing up to steering teams.

Managing Stakeholders

• Work across teams and departments to understand stakeholder needs and support and influence stakeholders to understand each other’s needs.
• Make sure stakeholders are kept up to date and brought into conversations as appropriate for their remit.

Ensure Project Retrospective

• Track project outcomes against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
• Schedule and host project evaluation meeting.
• Write up final project evaluation, including evaluation of project management processes and learning for future.

Project Documentation and Administration 

• Define and deliver key documentation of the project including decision making accountabilities, transparent timelines and milestones, assigned responsibilities, communications plans, defined outcomes etc.
• Track and raise dependencies with the delivery team – ensure progress is happening in a logical and feasible order.
• Develop (through collaboration within the delivery groups) project KPIs to meet set Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) or defines outcomes.

Budget Control

• Manage and track project budget, control expenditure and optimise resource allocation.

About You:

• Experience in leading complex projects with large numbers of senior stakeholders.
• Experience in establishing lines of delivery process where complex interdependencies exist.
• Flexible and responsive. Able to adapt to changing environments and priorities as situations develop. Able to support delivery teams to navigate these environments while maintaining progress and quality of output.
• Extremely organised and attention to detail, with a meticulous focus on project details to ensure quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence and update multiple teams, both in the UK and overseas, and key stakeholders effectively.
• Time Management: Ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and keep projects on schedule
• Risk Management: Proficiency in identifying, analysing, and mitigating project risks.
• Negotiation. Able to manage negotiation between multiple stakeholders, ensuring all are heard while still progressing action and maintaining positive working relationships
• Experience in managing budgets for complex projects.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Project Management qualifications.
• Experience working in the delivery or strategy of a communications or marketing function.
• Experience working at or with INGOs, including cross-border working.
• Proven experience in using project management technology or ability to quickly pick up such tools.
