They are charity that connects the public with science through education, research, and public engagement. Their vision is that “Science is for Everyone” and all access to science should be equal. This is delivered by a series of events, school outreach, social impact programmes and a vast online and digital presence. It is an exciting time to be joining Ri, they will be launching their very first multi year campaign and fundraising is well respected across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Maximising income from corporate supporters to surpass financial targets, this is via donations, sponsorships and memberships
- Account management of the existing portfolio and finding opportunities to develop new business

The role:
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre is seeking a Learning and Teaching Manager to join its Learning team which focuses on delivering a range of exciting projects for young people, schools and teachers.
The Learning and Teaching Manager will play a key role in this team, managing and supporting Learning Coordinators to manage our projects. This role will not involve leading workshops with students or teachers directly. Instead, you will be responsible for developing our products, the strategy behind them, and ensuring that they are delivered to a high quality by the Learning Coordinators who manage them and freelance theatre practitioners engaged to deliver them. You will have management responsibility for 3 to 4 people and, with the support of the Senior Learning Manager, will help them to develop and deliver their best work.
You will also contribute to new projects by working closely with the Senior Learning Manager and Director of Education on bespoke requests from new partners (we get a lot of interesting organisations reaching out to us!) and helping to shape new mission-led initiatives, both in the UK and worldwide.

Prostate Cancer Research exists to honour the men and families who have been through things no family should have to go through, and to work for a future where no one needs to fear a prostate cancer diagnosis.

It’s been a successful couple of years for PCR’s Events & Community team with good results across the portfolio, raising over £1.4m (against a target of £800k) in 2023-24. Now’s an exciting time as we’ve recently expanded the team, whilst refreshing our structure and roles to make priorities clear and ensure the whole team can do their best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing in their careers and enjoying their jobs within our ambitious and supportive team.
We are now recruiting for a new Events & Community Executive to join the frontline of our fundraising stewardship, so strong relationship-building skills and a love of creating great supporter experiences are essential. A big part of this role is project managing PCR’s fundraising activities, including virtual and third-party challenges.
