This vacancy has arisen as the result of the retirement of our current Fundraising & Marketing Director in Spring 2025. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to take over this pivotal role within the charity.
Based across our two sites in North Weald and Earls Colne (Colchester), you will oversee the strategic management of our charity's fundraising, marketing, and communications. You will lead in the creation, development, and implementation of a range of revenue-focused strategies, and have overall accountability for a large team that generates the funds needed to keep the service operational. As a key member of our Executive Team, you'll collaborate closely with our CEO and other members to drive the delivery of our short, medium, and long-term goals.
Role responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of robust and diverse income generation and marketing strategies that meet both the current, and future, operational needs of the charity with a focus on lottery growth.
- Advise and support the CEO and Board on all fundraising and marketing matters.
- Develop and deliver income diversification plans.
- Lead the team in a positive and inspirational way to maximise all opportunities across our region.
- Develop and build working relationships with key stakeholders and other air ambulance charities.
What we’re looking for
You will have extensive fundraising experience in a compatible context, specifically across key areas of income generation. You must be target driven to achieve income objectives set. You will have appropriate qualifications or be qualified through experience in fundraising and marketing and/or communications.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an Insight Executive with data experience to join the Strategic Insight team.
As the Insight Executive, you will be providing quality data to teams across the organisation for marketing and supporting purposes. You will be working with our software to extract data, build communication journeys, and run data processes. This role is key to the organisation, and in ensuring we are raising funds to support children and young people with cancer.
This role is an opportunity to work across a range of data led projects and challenges. Our team is continually adapting and improving; we are looking for a candidate who can shape this role over time, and who we can support to grow in this role.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the Job Description.
• To select and extract data from the database and fully clean the resulting data before sending on to be used for campaigns and other areas of work
• To maximise the benefits of our database by working with team colleagues to deliver data selections, data reports, and data exploration
• Be responsible for incoming data administrative requests and run regular administrative tasks to keep data clean and up to date on the CARE CRM system (our supporter database)
• Be proactive in learning to use new software – we use FastStats, and are currently bringing in PeopleStage, a product to manage supporter data, and the Insight Executive will be regularly using this software .
• On an ongoing basis, to identify areas for improvement including data quality, and increasing internal and external stakeholder satisfaction
• Participate in projects or lead discrete project work and support other areas within the directorate as and when require
WHAT DO I NEED?
• Experience working with data, and relational databases (examples being a Customer Relationship Management database/FastStats/PeopleStage)
• Extracting complex information from a database
• Experience using Microsoft packages, primarily Excel
• Ability to manage complex and multiple tasks, and their own time
• Team player who can easily work as part of a cross functional team to deliver shared goals .
The key skills we’re looking for in this role are:
• A candidate with confidence manipulating data, learning new skills and systems.
• Has the initiative to take on data challenges, develop processes, and discuss data queries with stakeholders.

JRF’s Insight and Analysis team produces high-quality, original and actionable JRF analysis about poverty issues. We draw on a range of data sources, commissioned research and work with partners with lived experience of poverty to better understand what’s happening, why, and what can be done to solve poverty.
The role offers the opportunity to undertake original and creative analysis to shed new light on poverty-related issues, as well as offering a professional analytical perspective across the wider organisation. The role involves designing the approach, identifying requirements and leading a range of innovative analytical work to meet JRF’s priorities.

The Youth Investment Fund (YIF) is over £300m of capital and revenue grants, funded by the UK Government.
YIF is a commitment to young people to transform and level up the out-of-school youth sector. It will provide truly innovative youth facilities in levelling up priority areas, and early-stage/seed resource funding to underpin them, enabling more positive activities that deliver improved outcomes for young people.

About this role:
This role plays an important part in enabling the YIF team to support the delivery of the Fund and to provide excellent customer service to its grantees.
We are looking for someone who: is motivated by our mission and is looking for an administrative position at SIB. You will need to like working with numbers, be good at scheduling calls and engaging with customers and have excellent attention to detail.
Key responsibilities
1. To support effective triage of YIF grants to enable timely monthly disbursements to take place.
2. To ensure that calls are scheduled with each grantee due a disbursement in each month.
3. To support the team with reconciling spend evidence.
4. To undertake these calls with each grantee, checking the figures they have shared through the grantee community in Salesforce, updating these figures diligently and accurately.
5. To collect additional information on the progress of each grantee’s capital project, updating relevant fields in Salesforce diligently and accurately.
6. To collate all relevant updates from each month’s calls, and share this reporting with the Senior Relationship Manager and Head of Property Funding to enable accurate cross-checking with the finance team and timely reporting to DCMS.
7. To manage the customer inbox on a daily basis and respond to enquiries from customers using guidance notes and where necessary escalating queries to the YIF Admin Team Leader in the first instance.
8. To maintain grantee tasks in Salesforce and ensure that Relationship Managers are aware of any actions that have arisen from monthly calls.
9. To provide support where necessary to external Relationship Managers.
10. To support general administrative coordination across approved grants, most particularly those relating to disbursements, data input, data checking and task management.

Responsibilities
- Provide effective coordination and delivery support to the Student Space programme.
- Working closely with the Senior Programme Managers and wider team members to ensure successful delivery of programmes.
- Be the first point of contact for Student Space Programme enquiries, being responsible for incoming and outgoing communication, fielding and distributing to other team members accordingly and responding as directed.

We are looking for two Recovery Motivators to join our teams in the Camden Integrated Drug and Alcohol service. Our Recovery Motivators will focus on a lead area - Women and The Camden Hostel Pathway.
About the roles:
SHP/CGL within the new Partnership and Camden’s Integrated Drug and Alcohol service has secured 1 year's funding for 2 exciting role s for people with a lived experience to support other in Recovery. The 2 roles will be specialist roles and based in both treatment sites as well as some Camden hostels with the in-reach team and well working with the Women's Senior Practitioner across women's services. The idea of the role is for People with a lived experience from homelessness and or Substance misuse help and support and shape services along with specialist practitioners working for both SHP and CGL.
The new post Women's post will be working across Camden substance misuse services to build safe spaces for women to access the treatment they need without fear from further harm or trauma. (*For genuine occupational requirement reasons, we are seeking female applicants only for this post (exemption under the Equality Act 2010; Schedule 9 Part 1).
The new Hostel based post will be working with the Recovery in reach team to develop positive activities for Camden's hostel pathway clients to access treatment but also develop positive things in their lives to inspire their recovery.
We are looking for 2 dynamic individuals to develop their skills as well as learn Trauma informed interventions to develop and transform clients experience of treatment and services which supports better lives and outcomes for clients.

- An individual with a lived experience of substance misuse as well as experience of accessing Treatment and Recovery services.

Oasis’ work and mission has grown rapidly in the last decade. We are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to help us move into our next phase of growth and build the capacity of our Oasis Operations Team.
This is a new and integral position in our charity, so you will need solid employee relation experience and employment law knowledge, to advise managers confidently. Working as part of the established Operations Team, you will also input into finance and budgets, recruitment at senior levels, and developing our policies in line with our ethos and 9 Habits. It’s a bit of everything, which is what makes this role exciting and a great opportunity for someone who is eager to get hands-on experience in working on the People Strategy of a national charity. As part of the wider Oasis family you will be well supported; being able to work collaboratively with different teams and functions, as well as managing your own workload, is essential.

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities
The Director of Programmes, Policy and Advocacy is a senior leadership and strategic role within CIUK.A key member of CIUK Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with overall responsibility for the programmes, policy, and advocacy.The role is responsible for providing leadership to the directorate, contributing to the development and implementation of organisational Strategy, raising income from FCDO and other institutional donors, contract delivery and compliance, and safeguarding focal point on the leadership team. We are recruiting for a new role providing EA support to the CEO and administrative support across the organisation.

Knowledge and experience

• A recognised financial qualification. Excellent knowledge of charity financial management, procurement and contracting at a senior level is ideal but not essential.
