We are seeking an experienced fundraiser to equip our organisation with the financial resources needed to meet our objectives. The post-holder will lead on growing our charitable income across all funding streams, maximising supporter engagement and fulfilling operational duties, such as overseeing a fit-for-purpose database.
This is a new role with a significant input into our plans and strategies for the future. The successful candidate will report to the CEO and oversee most fundraising income generation.
The Fundraiser will build positive relationships to secure significant income, develop links specifically with churches and individuals and bring in regular/targeted income through recurring donations, fundraising campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will have experience covering several areas including Individual Giving; Churches, Fundraising Appeals/Campaigns as well as experience in managing the operational aspects of fundraising (database, compliance with codes of practice and fundraising regulations, creating campaigns). Through this, you will assist the whole organisation in our commitment to showing kindness, raising self-belief and inspiring hope for the future in the individuals we serve.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with Senior Leadership Team to develop, deliver, and monitor a fundraising strategy for Pecan.
- Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to Pecan’s supporters.
- Assist with setting up a CRM database with responsibility and maintaining appropriate data capture for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
- Work with Senior Leadership to develop an Individual Giving and Acquisition strategy that drives growth for individual giving across multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
- Pioneer and develop a broad range of relationships with churches, organisations, and denominations across Southwark, with support from the CEO.
Key Requirements (specific skills, qualifications required):
- Experience of all fundraising methods
- Excellent strategic planning skills and able to balance competing priorities
- Experience working on either eTapestry, Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce or Donorfy CRM systems
- Research skills, including identifying, analysing, and monitoring potential funders
Desirable knowledge/expertise
- Degree level qualification / Marketing, Finance or CRM qualification
- Working knowledge of local church culture

As the Finance Director, you will manage the efficient and effective running of the finance department and lead on the strategic development of CSW’s multi-year financial planning providing responsive reporting and adaptive forecasting to the CEO, the SLT (of which you will be part) and the charity’s Board of Trustees. You will be an excellent financial professional, self-motivated and passionate about your work. You are proactive and willing to work well with others to achieve targets. You are inspired by CSW’s mission and eager to play your part, through this role, in ensuring freedom of religion and belief for all.
To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant financial qualification or be qualified by experience. You will have substantial experience at middle or senior financial management level in the commercial or not-for-profit sector, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire people when working in a team. You will possess strong strategic planning skills, and a good grasp of key charity accounting and database software; principally Sage Line 50, Raiser’s Edge, electronic/online banking, Microsoft Office, especially Excel at advanced level. You should have good knowledge of financial budgetary and accounting systems, as well as the ability to ensure operational excellence.

WellChild, based in the centre of Cheltenham, is the national charity for children with complex medical needs and their families. We fund programmes and services to make it possible for children and young people living with serious illness to be cared for at home instead of hospital.
The WellChild Family Tree is a growing network that exists to connect families across the UK caring for a child with complex health needs with each other and with WellChild. Through its online forum, and programme of activities and communications, it provides members with the opportunity to make friends, make memories and make a change.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised person to join us as our Family Information Officer as part of our Family Team. Working alongside the Family Programme Team and wider Programmes Team, this role will fill a critical information gap for the families that WellChild supports and will help the charity attract new and harder to reach families into the WellChild Family Tree network.
Through becoming familiar with relevant policy and guidance for families caring for children with complex medical needs, you will be able to help identify the key issues facing our families and then curate the most relevant, up to date information from a variety of expert sources to help support them whilst also taking the lead on information projects aimed at helping families to thrive at home.
Purpose of the role:
Families thrust into a world of disability and complex care find themselves having to navigate their way through a ‘new normal’ with nowhere to go for relevant information and advice. The result leaves many unaware of their entitlements or the help that might be available. This puts many families under extreme pressure, leading to financial hardship, family breakdowns and emotional strain.
Working within the Family Team and reporting to the Family Programme Manager, this role will continue to develop and expand WellChild’s information provision. This will be achieved through research and delivery of information, tools and advice for families on subjects such as, but not limited to health, legal rights and entitlements, wellbeing and local services.
There are two key parts to this role:
■Identifying key issues/challenges:-
Work with other members of the Family Team and wider Programmes Team to listen and identify common themes and challenges being raised and discussed in the WellChild Family Tree forum; WellChild Nurse network and with other key stakeholders.
■Information Development & Delivery:-
Develop an information/content plan covering a variety of family relevant subjects, focused on the key issues/ challenges & themes raised. Delivering information in a variety of mechanisms designed to engage with families and attract new, harder to reach families.
You will also be expected to provide content for the WellChild Family Tree online forum, create and deliver family workshops based on the resources you create, and develop appropriate monitoring, evaluation, and reporting methods to demonstrate the impact of the information articles and WellChild information hub. You will also be expected to support the development and moderation of a new interactive directory of services for families. Throughout your work you will embed safeguarding processes and policies to keep families safe.
You will be able to:
■Demonstrate recent experience of producing information for vulnerable people with excellent writing and editing skills

About the role
As the Executive Assistant to our 2 Interim Executive Directors of Global Programmes you will work at the highest levels of the organisation to assist the Executive Directors and the Global Programmes Senior Leadership Team, as well as the Division Operations Department in driving operational delivery.
You will develop and provide a proactive, comprehensive and supportive administration and information service, as well as engaging with people across different teams in the Global Programmes division to support change initiatives and projects when relevant.
In this role, you will:
- PA Support: Planning the Director's diary in line with agreed priorities, initiating and arranging external and internal meetings, handling and prioritising requests for the Directors' time, ensuring relevant papers are available, and follow up actions are seen through. Coordinating the Director's travel arrangements for overseas programme visits and meetings, ensuring that all necessary arrangements / paperwork have been completed. Acting as key point of contact for external and internal enquiries on behalf of the GPD as needed.
- Team Support: Coordinating the effective functioning of the Global Programmes Management and Senior Leadership teams. This will include planning and coordinating meetings; agendas; producing and distributing relevant papers, including the preparation of papers for the Executive Leadership Team and the Board, as well as for the Directors' group discussions in liaison with the Chief Executive's office.
- Internal Communications: Liaising with the Chief Executive, Directors, Trustees and their assistants to facilitate meetings and the flow of information. Building relationships with staff at all levels including divisional and departmental EAs, Team Coordinators, Directors and Senior Managers to problem-solve, negotiate and facilitate on a wide range of issues and ensure tasks are delegated from the Director. Support on the delivery of our Monthly Global Programmes newsletter and Global Programmes divisional meetings as needed.
- Project Management: Working with the Head of Planning, Performance & Operations and the wider Global Programmes Leadership Team to provide project support to key divisional initiatives where relevant.
- Other: in agreement with the Head of Planning, Performance & Operations and the GPD, to perform other responsibilities as may be required from time-to-time to ensure the smooth running of the division and department and to deputise for colleagues as required.
About you
We are looking for candidates who recognise the importance of the EA function and take genuine satisfaction from organising and supporting others.
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Senior PA/EA experience in a corporate head office environment or INGO.
- A high level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and databases).

We are looking for an individual who can come in to review our current offering, help develop and shape a sector leading proposition for companies and lead on exceptional account management.
Corporates are one of the key areas of focus for our new fundraising strategy, released in July 2024 where we are aiming to build up a specialism in a smaller number of fundraising channels where we feel we have natural strengths and see opportunity.
High Net Worth Philanthropy
Alongside the corporate offering, we would like this role to come and help us shape a strong proposition for major donors. You will use your strengths in relationship development and management to support and grow our base of high net worth supporters. There will also be a role of coordinating the pipeline of major donors, nurturing and supporting relationships through our extended network across the organisation and beyond.

Where you’ll be based

Job Summary
CAAS provide an ADHD and Autism Support Service for the 8 boroughs of NW London, from our base in Eastcote, with a team of Support Workers. Our work includes offering information, advice, and support to ADHD / autistic people, their families, and professionals in NW London, with the aim of improving quality of life and developing neurodiverse-aware communities. Some of the support is offered through one2one meetings, some of the support is provided through groups and courses which aim to increase understanding and awareness, and provide opportunities for peer support, and some of the support is offered through training and workshops to educate professionals and drive for accommodations to be made to services to allow greater access for our client group.
As Director of Services, you will work closely with the CEO, leading on the management of the Adult Services, Youth Services and Family Services workstreams within the charity, ensuring the high quality service provision for which we are known. The role sits within the senior leadership team at CAAS, alongside the Finance Director, and manages the Youth Services Manager, the Family Services Manager and the Adult Services Manager, who in turn manage around 20 staff between them.
The Director of Services provides a crucial role in ensuring the infrastructure and operational workings of the charity are effective for the more than 30 staff we employ, and the more than 11,000 instances of support we provide each year. Therefore, we are looking for a capable, calm, self-motivated, organised and hard-working Services professional who has worked in a management role directly responsible for service delivery in another charity.
The role requires strong organisation skills, excellent communication and relationship building skills, significant experience of operational service delivery, team leadership experience, the ability to articulate and drive our impact, and a good understanding of fundraising and monitoring requirements in a medium sized charity. Key Responsibilities – Impact
· To work collaboratively with the CEO to develop and deliver clear methods of measuring the impact of services, and an appropriate Theory of Change model for our work, and use this information to continuously improve and articulate our service development.
· To develop and monitor a framework of key performance indicator targets and standards, to ensure all service managers are able to effectively appraise and improve where appropriate the service standards within their division.
· Evaluate the operational dashboards and reporting mechanisms to ensure trends are quickly identified and necessary changes put in place.
· To work with the communications team to maximize opportunities to ensure our services reach as many people as possible, as efficiently as possible and in a way that is appropriate within our branding guidelines.
· To provide impact data such that we can demonstrate to a wide audience the quality of the work that we perform, and the lasting impact that we have on those we reach
· Lead the Services Department in ensuring all projects are clearly documented, managed, reviewed and evaluated, and ensure a rolling programme of self-assessment and improvement is in place.
Key Responsibilities – Operational Management
· Manage the provision of high-quality services, in accordance with funder requirements and service specifications by leading and managing the Service Managers and by providing the necessary support and development in their roles. To be responsible for the support, management and development of all service staff, volunteers and freelancers.
· To support the Service Managers and the Head of Client Programmes with the planning and mobilisation of projects and contracts, ensuring services are delivered in line with funder requirements and timings. Have a willingness to ‘get into the detail’ as well as to provide more strategic leadership and direction within the delivery teams.
· Ensure overall service management across the different teams is complimentary and effective, that clients are triaged appropriately throughout the different service offer, that there are appropriate routes for clients to move through the different services, and that best practice is shared, and learnings incorporated right across our work.
· To ensure services are accessible to our clients, that projects are begun, maintained or stopped in a planned and thoughtful manner, and that the services we provide offer the very best support that is possible for our clients, taking into consideration latest research and understanding about the conditions, and about the people we wish to reach.
· To have specific responsibility for the risk management within services, for both clients and for projects. To review risk assessments, and ensure appropriate mitigations are developed and actioned.
· Participate in the recruitment and induction of all new services staff, and ensure that all service staff receive appropriate professional development plans and performance targets
· Ensure services staff and volunteers are focused on achieving CAAS’ mission, values and aims, and have the appropriate skills and management in order to deliver effective, efficient services.

Key Responsibilities - Financial
- To work collaboratively with the Finance Director, to support the development and use of effective management information systems, ensuring that all our services capture and report relevant monitoring data consistently and accurately.
- To have overall accountability for the service department budgets, to ensure CAAS works within agreed financial constraints, making best use of the funds available to us, including compliance with the financial reporting requirements to funders
- To support with financial planning, to ensure the continuation of our core programmes, and revise plans when financial targets require.
- To work collaboratively with fundraising colleagues, to identify new funding opportunities, and to develop new fundraising proposals and funding bids, which support and advance the work of the charity over the longer term.
- To write funding reports and outcome analyses, and prepare for and attend funding review and monitoring meetings.
- To understand the funding requirements of all projects, and ensure projects happen on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities - Relationship Building
- To represent CAAS on key bodies and groups externally, ensuring that CAAS position and views are clearly and professionally provided in the best interests of our service users
- To establish and maintain effective working relationships both inside and outside the charity, particularly with health and social care agencies, to enhance the presence of the charity within the local delivery offer.
- To systematically evaluate and improve all elements of service delivery and quality by consulting with services users, staff and external stakeholders and by planning and implementing the necessary changes with genuine involvement of those we serve. · Services Management Experience: Experience of delivering services directly to clients and of managing service delivery projects and teams to a high standard with a broad reach.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to engage and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including funders, partners, and community organizations.

We're seeking an experienced and energetic CEO to lead our vision to the next chapter in delivering mental health support to young people living in Bourton-on-the-Water and surrounding area with longer term expansion into the wider North Cotswold Area.
The CEO will have overall responsibility for running the organisation on behalf of the Board of Trustees ensuring the values, mission, aims and policies meet the needs of the young people at the heart of our service. They will be experienced in all aspects of Charity functions including statutory responsibility, safeguarding, strategic development, service delivery and design, leadership, HR management, service user engagement, financial and risk management and income generation and growth.
The successful candidate will be passionate about youth wellbeing and making in an impact in our local community with the vision, skills and ambition to enhance Headspace's service bandwidth to the wider North Cotswolds community and securing the funding to achieve this.
