As the Senior Volunteering Manager, you’ll be someone that can inspire people that you manage and wider staff in the team, and help lead key areas of our volunteering programme.
You’ll be someone who sets high expectations for the people that you manage, ensuring that they deliver the best experience possible for our volunteers through quality programme delivery and outcomes. You’ll do this through empowering them to deliver whilst supporting their professional development and investing in their skills.

This role will be responsible for some key department projects, setting expectations and targets with colleagues across the team, learning from our data, leading quality within our programme and looking to develop new ways of working.

The Role

As the Senior Stewardship Manager at Social Mind you will be accountable for the overall delivery of our stewardship and community management services.

You will lead the strategic development of this service area helping to elevate our stewardship practices, ensuring they are closely aligned with the objectives of our charity partners and the evolving needs of their supporters.

You will lead and mentor our Stewardship Manager and their team, guiding them all in delivering exceptional supporter journeys and community management initiatives.

Your leadership will ensure that our stewardship approach is proactive, data-driven, and continuously optimised to enhance campaign performance and supporter satisfaction.

Social Mind are experts at using social fundraising to drive income and engagement. From product innovation, journey design and campaign builds to virtual event management, we support charities in delivering successful campaigns at scale.

Our fundraising platform, Social Sync, aims to revolutionise the sector with integrated social fundraising campaigns and behavioural, omni-channel supporter journeys. We empower charities to raise more money through integrated Facebook and white label fundraising pages, build stronger relationships with sophisticated, personal journeys and we unlock supporter potential with meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Delivery

• Strategic Stewardship Planning: Working collaboratively with the management team you will develop and implement a forward-looking stewardship strategy that aligns with our key objectives and the fundraising goals of our charity partners.
• Campaign Leadership: Work with the Campaign Manager to own the delivery and direction of stewardship in live fundraising campaigns, ensuring they meet or exceed income targets while delivering outstanding supporter experiences.
• Brand Protection: Ensure all stewardship activities are executed to the highest standards, safeguarding the brand and reputations of our business and our charity partners in every interaction.
• Performance Optimisation: Drive continuous improvement in fundraising outcomes by leveraging data insights, supporter feedback, and industry trends to inform stewardship and community management activities.

Supporter Experience

• Service Excellence: Establish and maintain high standards of customer service across all stewardship and community management activities, ensuring that all interactions reflect the values, goals and tone of our charity partners and meet agreed SLAs. You will also act as a subject matter expert on client calls working closely with our Customer Success team.
• Supporter Satisfaction: Monitor and analyse supporter feedback, responding swiftly to issues and opportunities to enhance the supporter experience.
• Safeguarding and Compliance: Ensure all stewardship and campaign delivery activities adhere to safeguarding protocols, data protection laws, and industry best practices, maintaining the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct.
• Innovation in Stewardship: Identify opportunities for innovation within stewardship and community management, proposing new approaches to enhance campaign effectiveness and supporter engagement.

People Management and Team Building

• Leadership and Vision: Provide strategic leadership to the stewardship team, setting clear objectives, inspiring innovation, and driving accountability.
• Recruitment and Resource Management: Lead the recruitment and talent acquisition process to attract, select, and onboard top talent, ensuring the team is equipped with the skills and expertise needed to achieve strategic goals and that all campaigns are supported by a fully resourced team.
• Coaching and Development: Implement tactical coaching and mentoring that enable team members to develop within their roles and achieve their full potential.
• Performance Management: Oversee performance management for the stewardship team, ensuring that objectives and key results (OKRs) are aligned with both individual career development and organisational goals.

Skills and Knowledge

• Strategic Leadership: Proven experience in leading and executing strategic initiatives ideally within a fundraising or nonprofit environment.
• Fundraising Expertise: Deep understanding of fundraising principles, supporter engagement strategies, and the nonprofit sector.
• Customer Service Excellence: A strong track record of delivering exceptional customer service and managing stakeholder relationships at a senior level.
• Team Development: Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams, with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and professional growth.

• Compliance Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Charity Law, Data Protection Law, The Fundraising Code of Practice, and other relevant standards across the UK.

Endometriosis UK is the leading UK charity supporting those living with endometriosis. Formed in 1981, we offer information and support to women and those assigned female at birth with endometriosis, for example through our website and information leaflets, and via our local support groups, Helpline and online forum. As well as directly supporting those with endometriosis, we work to raise awareness of endometriosis amongst healthcare professionals, the public and the media; lobby for improved treatment and management; and support research. 

This will be a busy, varied and important role working closely with the Head of Campaigns and Communications to raise awareness and increase the visibility of endometriosis and Endometriosis UK, and designing and managing campaigns that really make a difference across the UK. We are looking for a highly organised, pro-active and confident Senior Communications and Campaigns Officer to manage our press office, running it to the highest standard. You’ll have an eye for a strong story, and will be confident in pitching stories to press and drafting press releases. You will be responsible for raising the profile of endometriosis in the media and ensuring Endometriosis UK is the go-to voice on menstrual health and endometriosis issues. You will also be a passionate and creative campaigner who has demonstrable experience of developing and delivering successful public awareness campaigns. You’ll enjoy working as part of a small but driven communications and campaigns team, who are passionate about driving change for those with endometriosis.

The Senior Volunteering Officer will help us to explore and develop new approaches to volunteering within the NHS. This role is focused on supporting our volunteers that are based within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust services across the North West London Community and to develop new volunteering roles that focus on health challenges within the community.

You’ll provide a high quality experience to volunteers that are located within our community sites, by working with Trust staff and partner organisations to develop new roles that improve the experience to our patients within these clinical services, to identify new locations and roles, to develop our volunteering offer within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

This role will work with the Trust to develop new approaches to volunteering, with a particular focus on designing, launching and evaluating volunteer roles that could bring system change to wider health inequalities.

Additionally, you’ll focus on our volunteer community, ensuring that our volunteer community is as representative of the wider population, and seek to engage groups with a particular focus on the Core20plus5 groups.

PURPOSE OF THIS JOB

You will be responsible for strategic event planning: developing, managing and delivering owned Wings for Life and third-party events, whilst maximising fundraising and awareness for the charity and helping the wider team to reach their strategic goals. You will take a creative and entrepreneurial approach to expanding the event portfolio and enhancing existing events.

The Accelerating Reform Fund is a new initiative which aims to transform social care services, making them more responsive to the needs of the community.  It is a national programme, with 42 regions allocated to have their own projects.  Greater Manchester is one of the ARF regions. 

The ARF has a particular focus on unpaid carers and will see hands-on support provided to delivery partners from the Social Care Institute for Excellence. Crucially, the ARF aims to boost short-term breaks for carers and improve hospital discharge processes. This work is made possible by Department for Health and Social Care grants. 

As an organisation, Gaddum has supported and collaborated with unpaid carers for many years, so we’re excited to bring our experience to the table. 

Gaddum’s goal is to ensure the safest, most effective, and highest quality execution of the ARF’s initiatives. Job Summary 

The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role as the key contact point for Gaddum’s infrastructure support of the GM system. They will work closely alongside our passionate and skilled Greater Manchester colleagues in this transformative journey, taking ownership for the achievement of key project milestones, and will ultimately ensure that the system has the oversight and awareness of risks in order to plan for successful deployment.

Job Purpose 

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) will provide expert oversight and support across the ARF projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective delivery. The SPM will, as per their job title, project manage the infrastructure element of the entire GM programme. 

They will coordinate efforts across various sectors, manage stakeholder engagement, and be responsible for the integrated approach to risk management, data governance, and financial oversight. The role is accountable to Gaddum’s CEO, and will report to them.  It is central to ensuring the successful execution of the ARF's vision and objectives. 

Ultimately, the SPM’s goal is to support the system to achieve a consensus on what success looks like for the ARF in GM, and then work alongside the system to enable it to achieve it. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities 

• Project Management Expertise: Working to agreed methodologies, provide expert oversight, ensuring all ARF projects are coordinated and integrated effectively across different sectors, with a clear definition of success. 

• Stakeholder Identification and Engagement: Lead stakeholder mapping and engagement, involving adult social care, hospitals, respite providers, carers, and other system partners, adding capacity to pre-existing stakeholder mapping. 

• Collaboration: Facilitate regular meetings, workshops, and forums to coproduce strategies and solutions, ensuring robust involvement of lived experience in the programme. 

• Coproduction: Utilising pre-established coproduction and engagement programmes, ensure lived experience leadership principles are made available, and integrated, into the GM ARF consortium. 

• Oversight of Delivery: Monitor and manage project delivery, maintaining alignment with national evaluation frameworks, and leading on the coproduction approach. 

• Evaluation: Ensure the GM system reaches the ideal level of engagement to ensure regional and national evaluation programmes can properly assess the impact of the ARF across GM.  This will include working alongside the Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) on a Theory of Change for the GM system, and working alongside the National Evaluation Panel. 

• Data Systems Integration: Lead the development and integration of data systems, ensuring real-time understanding of needs and outcomes across GM. Facilitate data exchange, ensuring alignment with national standards and compliance with data governance policies.  Act as main point of contact for a “Centralised Data Hub”, paying close attention to barriers and/or compliance requirements, such as interoperability and Information Governance. 

• Budget Management: Support Manchester City Council’s finance team to develop detailed budget plans and forecasts, reporting on the project budget, ensuring funds are allocated efficiently and effectively across all project components. 

• Internal partnerships:

• Working closely with Gaddum’s Head of Finance and the lead authority to ensure financial tracking, budget management, and reporting are aligned with project objectives. 

• Ensure seamless partnerships between the ARF system and Gaddum’s commissioned services, working closely with the Head of Operations. 

Other key tasks & responsibilities of the role 

• Line Management: Supervise the Project Administrator, ensuring they provide effective secretariat responsibilities for the consortium. 

• Risk Management: Keep stakeholders well-informed about risks, strategies, and progress.  With the consortium, co-design and manage risk register elements, providing rapid escalation of issues to the CEO and consortium, developing solutions where necessary. 

• Troubleshooting: Take all reasonable steps to enable system partners to identify barriers and develop solutions. 

• Continuous Improvement: Establish and maintain ongoing feedback loops, making necessary adjustments to the project’s approach based on stakeholder input and real-world outcomes. 

• Coordination of reporting: Work closely with SCIE and GM ARF stakeholders to ensure data integration and reporting, aligning regional data with national datasets and performance metrics. 

• Contracting and Compliance: Ensure adherence to contracting and compliance requirements, maintaining robust monitoring and reporting systems 

• Systems Change Facilitation: Lead on systems change initiatives, ensuring that all project components are aligned with the strategic goals and objectives of the ARF programme.

Job description

MHFA England is looking for an individual to lead and manage organisational projects that form part of our planning and change portfolio. Projects will range from updating our product and services roadmap to supporting longer-term change programmes. 

The post holder will be responsible for providing the senior leadership team with evidence and recommendations to drive the key business decisions for change initiatives and project prioritisation, helping to shape the organisation’s thinking and direction. The successful candidate will have experience in leading projects from concept to completion, and be comfortable working to tight deadlines. About the role

The Senior Communications and Marketing Manager will join the Trust at an exciting time and be responsible for providing first-class customer service to the local community who use this much-loved greenspace for rest, relaxation and exercise, as well as the promotion of the park as a unique visitor attraction.

The role will support the Trust to expand and diversify our audience and supporter base through creative, targeted and effective marketing of events and programming. It will also support the generation of commercial and philanthropic income, through strategic fundraising campaigns and raising the profile of the park. 

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all channels including digital communications (website, e-newsletter, social media) as well as handling press/ media, print and working with the grounds team on in-park communications.

Fundraising department

Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5 million through donations in 2023/2024, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.

We pride ourselves on being a supporter-focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.

Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:

• Our Philanthropy & Campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our forthcoming cancer campaign, our essential existing services, the charity’s first patron programme, and special events to support these activities.
• Our Public Fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges. Our database and supporter care teams sit within Public Fundraising, with their work underpinning and supporting the entire department.

Building on our achievements, our board of trustees has agreed to invest in expanding the fundraising function to develop a sustainable infrastructure that will support our growth ambitions. We are currently restructuring our teams, within the above parameters, to deliver this vision.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a proactive, experienced and hands-on person to join our team as Senior Philanthropy Operations Manager on a permanent basis. Working alongside the wider team, you will oversee all philanthropy operations, leading on delivering and further developing the charity’s approach to portfolio, information, and policy management and reporting, and helping to evolve our approach to database and systems processes, to support the team to meet ambitious engagement and income targets.

You will play a vital role within our Philanthropy & Campaigns team, using insight and expertise, and working closely with a range of stakeholders across RFC, RFL and the wider sector. Your commitment to excellence will enable sector-leading research, engagement and stewardship.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Philanthropy & Campaigns, with a dotted line to the Campaign Director, this role is responsible for line managing the Prospect Research and Operations Manager, with further direct and indirect line management anticipated as we prepare for and deliver our forthcoming cancer campaign.

Principal accountabilities / responsibilities

Team leadership

• Proactively lead and manage all operations for the Philanthropy & Campaigns team as we deliver challenging core activity alongside moving towards delivery of a c£70m cancer campaign
•  Manage a growing team to deliver productively and at pace, modelling behaviour and setting standards

Prospect research and portfolio management

• Work with the Prospect Research and Operations Manager to grow the prospect research strategy and associated processes, ensuring the development of an effective philanthropy prospect pipeline, sourcing prospective donors to fund key priority projects
•  Lead on the use of data and analytics to drive decision making across the team
• Work with the Philanthropy & Campaigns team to build the income budget, supporting with re/forecasting throughout the year

Information management and reporting

•   Ensure data capture processes for prospect management and research are effective, reviewing and improving, as needed
• Provide high-quality information and intelligence, to include prospect and pipeline reporting, to support decision making and strategy development in the Philanthropy & Campaigns team, working in collaboration with other teams as required
• Track and report on the Philanthropy & Campaigns team’s activities against agreed priorities, highlighting areas for potential new asks
• Oversee the analysis of management accounts, and deliver data and insight for committee and board reports  

Compliance and policy management

• Lead on the team’s approach to compliance, ensuring alignment with gift acceptance, naming, data protection, gift aid and due diligence requirements
• Develop and introduce processes and guidance to enhance the efficiency and impact of the Philanthropy & Campaigns team
• Lead on the delivery of internal training for the Philanthropy & Campaigns team to ensure all legal requirements are met

Database and systems support

• Alongside the Database Team and Prospect Research and Operations Manager, develop the processes required to qualify prospective supporters, evaluating their warmth to the cause, as well as their capacity and propensity to give
• Work with the Database Team to ensure appropriate systems are in place for the Philanthropy & Campaigns team; providing clear processes for the team to keep track of progress and be aware of upcoming opportunities and potential philanthropy prospects.

About the Role

The Resources Development Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple resource development projects, from drafting high-quality funding proposals to managing content creation, working with expert authors, design agencies, and coordinating evaluation processes.  About The Hygiene Bank 

Hygiene poverty is not being able to afford many of the everyday hygiene and personal grooming products most of us take for granted. The reality of low income is that it restricts people’s options, leaving us caught between being able to heat our homes, pay the rent, eat, or be clean.  It is washing hair, bodies, faces and clothes in the same cheap washing up liquid used for the dishes. It is not being able to replace a toothbrush when needed or sharing a toothbrush because one each just isn't an option. It is having to choose between shaving foam and razors or the transport fare to a job interview.

Hygiene Poverty is the hidden crisis facing the UK. In May 2024, The Hygiene Bank published their second groundbreaking research into the incidence and impact of hygiene poverty. It found that over 4.2 million adults across the country are currently experiencing hygiene poverty and that it is both alarmingly widespread, increasing and disproportionately impacts the most vulnerable. It stops people from participating in society, feeds the mental health crisis and blocks routes out of poverty. It is simply unjust.

About the Role

 As one of our team of four Partnership Managers, you will have the exciting opportunity to make a huge difference in improving the lives of people living in hygiene poverty. Reporting into the Head Operations, the Partnership Managers plays a pivotal role in the charity and are responsible for overseeing and co-piloting our volunteer lead community projects.

The role is varied and requires strong time management, organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous record keeping and strong volunteer management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Volunteer Experience Manager to actively recruit volunteers in key areas, in line with our strategic objectives.
• Onboard new projects by supporting the volunteer project coordinator with all aspects of setting up a community project.
• Foster positive relationships with the project teams to ensure engagement and inclusion and to be the first point of contact for them.
• Co-design and implement project plans for the newly formed projects identifying areas of support needed to sustainably grow the project.
• Work with the projects to identify suitable Community Partners in line with our strategy and eligibility criteria.
• Support the project with any funding applications and ensure impact data is captured.
• Ensure all projects are compliant and operating within out charitable objects, therefore reducing the overall risk the charity.
• Work with the Operations team to ensure all supporting volunteer guidance documentation is accurate, relevant and up to date and to ensure the volunteer newsletter, website and members area contains all required and up to date volunteer supporting information.

DOTW UK has a small, high-performing and dynamic services team dedicated to delivering high quality, person-centred healthcare in a fast-paced environment, ensuring exceptional personal and team performance.

We are looking for an Outreach Senior Caseworker with experience of delivering effective advocacy on behalf of people from marginalised communities. This role will  play a key role in the delivery of services that will support equal access to primary medical services for people seeking asylum in contingency accommodation in Northeast London. The outreach service will offer initial health and social assessments, urgent care, and will facilitate GP registration and, and support access to wider healthcare and support services within the area through direct referrals and signposting, and coordination with other local services and partners.

As part of DOTWs Services team, you will support the service by proactively promoting DOTW’s service at individual accommodation sites, providing social assessments for residents and their dependents, escalating health issues of any immediate concern, and support responses to urgent health and/or safeguarding concerns. As part of a culture of best practice, you will ensure adherence to DotW policies and will provide support resolving complex cases, deploying your demonstrative experience delivering person-centred, compassionate care and/or advice and support to people seeking asylum or from other excluded communities.

You will lead by example, demonstrating effective advocacy, coordination, and multi-tasking skills, The role requires emotional agility, and resilience, especially when dealing with complex situations such as mental health crises, trafficking, and homelessness, where you will draw on your experience to manage complex situations calmly and compassionately. You will be someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be able to work productively and constructively within a close-knit team by demonstrating an open and responsive attitude and using your excellent communication skills.

You will have strong IT skills and ideally a driving licence to be able to support us to deliver our services in our dedicated mobile clinic vans. You will have the skills to work independently and manage your own and volunteers' health and safety, sometimes working alone.

You will be supported by an experienced team, regular line management, and clinical supervision. Skills in Basic Life Support, First Aid, safeguarding, mental health management, and trauma-informed approaches will be provided.
