As Educational Partnerships Manager you will be a key contributor to the South Central & East of England regional educational partnerships team, supporting the team to achieve shared KPIs for the region and the wider organisation. The role of Educational Partnerships Manager involves working directly with young people and teachers in schools that are delivering / supporting the delivery of our Young Enterprise programmes.
The Educational Partnerships Manager role will suit someone who can work with young people, build rapport and engage young people from a range of backgrounds. You will need to be confident in working within education settings and liaising with school staff, volunteers, and corporate volunteers. This can be a varied role, but a very exciting role as well as very rewarding. Your experience in relationship development and management will help with developing new schools as well as supporting existing school relationships. There is not an exhaustive list but is to provide you with a flavour of the role.

About The Role

About You
You will be responsible for the effective line management of a dispersed community-based team and have experience managing co-designed/co-delivered community development initiatives. You will recognise the potential for growth and expansion within these communities and empower local people to exact changes focused on what’s important to them.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a requirement for frequent travel extensively within the regions allocated for this role. Educated to degree level in a relevant field (Social Science, Community Development, Health and Social Care), related field, or hold an equivalent professional Community Development qualification.

THE ROLE
This is an exciting role joining a Programme Team of 15 staff based throughout the UK. There is a small team of three based in the South. You will work closely and collaborate with the other Network Managers and share some priorities across the region, working to develop the region as a whole. The purpose of this role is to facilitate good relationships between the mentors and mentees in the region. 70-80% of the role is about relationship building (with schools, mentors and partners), coordination and the tracking/ administration of those relationships. 15-20% of the role is direct delivery with the girls in the region. In response, MAG is looking for an exceptional Global Partnerships Advisor to strengthen its in house capacity to develop, monitor and manage its partnership portfolio in order to maximise the reach and impact of our work. This role will work closely with programme teams and the wider Policy and Strategic Partnerships (PSP) team, liaising with key partners in the mine action and disarmament sectors, with a particular focus on Geneva-based organisations. The GPA will also work closely with programme teams to support staff working with partners at programme level, improving organizational capacity to develop and manage partnerships within a given country or regional context. The successful candidate will have excellent capacity development, project management, and strategic planning skills and the ability to coordinate multiple activities at the same time. Previous experience of donor engagement and representation, as well managing humanitarian and/or development activity which has been implemented via local or international partnerships is essential and experience of working in humanitarian mine action would be highly advantageous. Fluency in written and verbal communication in a relevant second language (French, Arabic, Spanish) is also required. This is a fast-paced and challenging role, which will require high levels of initiative, pro-activeness and strong multi-tasking skills. Role location
The role will be based from home in mainland Europe with regular travel to Geneva as well as international travel to our office in Manchester and country programmes in South and Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean, possibly at short notice.

Your experience with managing complex construction projects and your broad understanding of transport planning, will help you lead and support a small team, as you oversee a budget of several million pounds a year, ensuring the delivery of impactful programmes and projects on the National Cycle Network, whilst aligning with Sustrans’ vision and Theory of Change.
You will draw on your experience and understanding of the principles of walking and cycling network planning to support the team with the delivery and quality assurance of Local Cycling and Walking Plans and feasibility studies for active travel routes.

The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD), hosted at the UN Foundation, is a dynamic international partnership of over 700 organisations. GPSDD connects stakeholders to address data gaps and harness opportunities for sustainable development.
In 2018, GPSDD , Sightsavers and partners, launched the Inclusive Data Charter (IDC)to promote inclusive, disaggregated data for better understanding and addressing the needs of marginalised people. The IDC has grown significantly, with commitments from over 30 Champions.
Sightsavers, a co-founding champion of the IDC, prioritises inclusive data to support its health and inclusion strategies. The Programme Manager - Inclusive Data will work across GPSDD and Sightsavers, managing strategic programmes and partnerships to advance inclusive data initiatives.

- Oversee IDC strategic planning and delivery, ensuring team collaboration with the IDC Technical Advisor and Advocacy Lead.
