For Head Office based, we typically work a minimum 2 days a week in the office - our office space is wheelchair accessible and located in Hoxton, London, N1.

Please note, this role requires regular travel to partner meetings and events, predominantly in central London (but also nationally) even if home-based.

Hours: Full Time (37 Hours) or Part Time (no less than 28 hours)

This role will mainly focus on account management, including our extensive partnership with Barclays, offering the post-holder an opportunity to lead our work with a major funder, delivering excellent outcomes for families.

Main Requirements (for more details, please see the job description and person specification):

· Provide day to day relationship management for a portfolio of key partnerships, including Barclays.

· Delivering excellent customer service to corporate account contacts – keeping in mind their needs, thinking ahead for solutions, responding to requests and working closely with them to develop partnerships for best mutual benefit

· Proactively seek opportunities to grow our partnerships, maximising income and engagement

· The ability to travel on a regular basis to partner meetings and events, predominantly in central London but also nationally (if homebased - travel to London at least twice a month).

WHAT WE DO

Young people from lower income families are 40% less likely to go to University than wealthier peers (Dept for Education, 2020) which can have a lifelong impact on earning potential. Covid-19 has deepened inequalities (Social Mobility Foundation, 2022) and negatively impacted on young people's wellbeing (GirlGuiding, 2020). We believe that no girls should have their futures limited by their gender, sex, ethnicity, background, or parental income and they should be supported to realise their ambitions, to discover their self-worth, and to develop their capacity to shape their world and their futures.

We work in communities of least advantage across England to deliver two core programmes to achieve this vision. Through our mentoring programme we connect 14-19 year old girls with a mentor and a wider network of role models who are women and deliver opportunities which help them to build life skills and nurture their ambitions. Based on the idea that 'you can't be what you can't see', our mentors often help girls to broaden their horizons and create a more positive vision of their futures. After the programme, the mentees can join a free, lifelong network of support - our Ambassador Community, which offers further opportunities to reach their goals, build their confidence and to share their voices and experiences.

Our programmes help girls and young women to develop the knowledge, skills, self-belief and opportunities to thrive, and to be supported as part of a network that champions them and ensures their voices are heard.

THE ROLE

This is an exciting role joining a Programme Team of 15 staff based throughout the UK. There is a small team of three based in the South. You will work closely and collaborate with the other Network Managers and share some priorities across the region, working to develop the region as a whole. The purpose of this role is to facilitate good relationships between the mentors and mentees in the region. 70-80% of the role is about relationship building (with schools, mentors and partners), coordination and the tracking/ administration of those relationships. 15-20% of the role is direct delivery with the girls in the region. You will play a crucial role setting up our Autumn 121 mentoring programmes, liaising with schools, recruiting mentors and ensuring that we have the right mentors for the mentees on programme. You will also deliver our workshop programme within the area.

Mentoring programme

• Manage overall success of the cohorts (groups of mentees and mentors) in your region, including coordinating and administering events and communications for cohorts in your area.
• Deliver engaging on-boarding sessions for mentees.
• Deliver events and workshops for mentees.
• Deliver matching of mentees and mentors at in-person events or virtually.
• Work with the wider programme team to train mentors.
• Support mentors once matched through regular check-ins, monthly emails and ad-hoc conversations.
• Collect data to track the progress, and impact of, mentoring relationships.
• Support mentors with safeguarding concerns, following The Girls’ Network. process in line with our child protection policy.
• Develop effective relationships with schools, on-boarding, supporting and retaining the partnerships.

Partnerships

• Work with the Senior Network Manager in your area to identify professional partnerships and sponsorship with local and national businesses.
• Work with your Senior Network Manager to identify a recruitment and retention plan for your area including key partners to work with.
• Be an active presence in the community, attending events and networks to encourage local women to mentor on our programme.

The Girls’ Network reputation and network

• Advocate The Girls’ Network at every opportunity particularly at in person networking events and on social media.
• Identify opportunities to build the reputation of The Girls’ Network in Birmingham and through events and networking.
• Report significant successes and achievements to relevant staff members.

Ongoing success of The Girls’ Network

• Work with the Programme Team to identify key areas for programme development
• Opportunities to get involved in programme and wider organisational projects
• Understand the development of school initiatives nationally and in your region, and understand their impact and implications for The Girls’ Network programmes

Our three year strategy is working well with improvements and expansions to our delivery model, a renewed vision and mission and we want to continue to develop and grow. To support this, we are recruiting for a new programme manager to grow our programmes and contracts in Kent. Our Kent area covers prisons including HMP East Sutton Park, HMP Rochester, HMP Standford Hill with two days per weeks as a Prison Facilitator at HMP Elmley. We are seeking proactive, committed, and enthusiastic applicants to join our team and help us continue our journey.

Working closely with people in prison, prison managers, Shannon Trust staff and volunteers you will ensure development of our criminal programmes maximising literacy and numeracy learning opportunities for people across a number of prisons and contracts in your area. Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings, managing teams and contract performance, underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. This is a prison based role and also requires travel across the Kent area.

The Prince’s Trust is currently going through an exciting period of development. We have ambitions to grow our offer to young people by providing a blended approach of face-to-face and digital delivery and support. This role will involve leading a small team of staff working with education and referral partners to support young people in Southampton, Portsmouth and the surrounding area. As part of the Leadership Team, the Delivery Managers are responsible for overseeing the delivery of our programmes. Working collaboratively to develop and implement our delivery plan and ensure we meet targets. As a Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for our Team and Achieve partners, supporting them to engage with young people who need our support. You will also oversee our outreach team, working with local partners to recruit young people onto fantastic programmes. You will be a role model for your team, demonstrating best practice in how we work with young people in a safe way to ensure we deliver maximum value for young people and partners.

A background in Further Education provision would be good, experience of cultivating and maintaining a broad range of partners would be lovely, the ability to build a high performing and motivated team would be excellent.

To be successful in the role of Service Delivery Manager, you will be able to engage in challenges with optimism and resilience and be adaptive and flexible – embracing change and innovation.

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! exists to educate and remind every young person in the UK that checking their boobs isn’t only fun, it could save  their life. We are the first breast cancer charity in the UK to create  awareness amongst young people, with the aim of instilling a new  healthy habit that could one day save their life.

About the role

This is a new role at CoppaFeel! as we grow and develop our finance team. As the Senior Finance Manager, you will have responsibility for overseeing CoppaFeel!’s finances . The Senior Finance Manager will be a key role in providing support and analysis to help decision-making for Leadership team.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic (15%)

• Support on the annual Budgeting and quarterly Forecasting process 
• Support with long term financial plans 

Reports (15%)

• Preparation of budget holder monthly reports and other internal financial reports

We're hiring a specialist women’s refuge, Service Manager. Someone who really cares about the rights of women and their children to join our new service in West London. This role is an opportunity for a leader to support and manage a refuge accommodation for women and children surviving domestic abuse many of whom are living with trauma . 
The service provides a much needed safe space and support for women to feel empowered in their healing journey and to feel secure in their independence, strength and skill. The successful candidate will support in leading the service which spans over 3 buildings and will develop their team which consists of support mentors and children and family workers. We are seeking a passionate, driven and motivated colleague to lead this service in a trauma informed and inclusive way. 

You will the have overall responsibility of your service and team, aiming to deliver a high quality, trauma informed service to your residents. Your role is to ensure full contract and regulatory compliance whilst being a role model/leader for your team to achieve KPI's and other requirements as per the service needs.

Shift/Working pattern: 37.5 hours a week in service Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, you may also be required to work outside these hours as per the service requirements and needs. You will also take part in our on call service.

• Manage the service budget and review monthly management accounts: Set budgets and ensure resources are maximised.
• Promote effective cost control mechanisms and other financial activities.
• Maintain financial management within the service.

Other

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

Cumberland Lodge, based in Windsor Great Park,  is an educational charity that exists to provide young people with the skills, perspective, and confidence to question, challenge, and understand, some of the most complex social issues of our time. Our work currently centres around ethical leadership and developing democratic engagement.

Day-to-day, our historic venue, spacious grounds, and facilities operate as a social enterprise, hosting multi-day residential retreats, workshops, conferences, and similar events on a commercial basis. Our regular clients include university departments, legal and medical training bodies, and many other public sector, private sector, and not-for-profit organisations.

For this newly-created role, we are seeking a passionate, creative and results-driven Business Development & Marketing Manager to help us grow occupancy and generate more income from group bookings to fund an expansion in our charitable work. We have an interesting range of initiatives in mind, including targeting the private sector, setting up a referral scheme, and creating offers for overseas markets.

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for pro-actively generating new business enquiries and opportunities for Cumberland Lodge, with the objective of maximising occupancy and income within the charitable and operational policies we work to.

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

Working closely with: Meeting & Events Manager, Hospitality Director, Communications & Engagement team

Strategic planning and execution

• Develop and implement the business development and marketing strategy aligned with our organisational goals.
• Lead the creation of multi-channel marketing plans to drive lead generation, and client acquisition.
• Oversee the delivery of venue marketing campaigns across digital, social, email, and traditional channels.

 Market awareness

• Analyse data and insights to inform marketing strategies and campaign adjustments.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
• Undertake regular benchmarking of Cumberland Lodge’s conference facilities, services and charges against local competitors, identifying market trends, opportunities, and competitive rates. 

Lead generation and client acquisition

• Develop strategies to generate high-quality leads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential new clients. 
• Identify new business opportunities and commercial partnerships to expand the client base.

Event promotion and coordination

• Collaborate with the Meeting & Events and Communications & Engagement teams to promote upcoming business development and marketing events, and maximise attendance.
• Create and manage event marketing calendars, timelines, and promotional plans
• Attend and support events to ensure successful delivery and to network with potential clients.

Management and reporting

• Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal use of resources and adherence to budgetary constraints
• Track marketing return on investment and provide reports to senior management.
• Responsible for maintaining a CRM database.

 Other

• Act at all times as an ambassador for Cumberland Lodge.
• In common with all Lodge staff, to work flexibly and to carry out such other duties as may be reasonably required to facilitate the smooth running of the business.

Person specification

• Relevant qualification in marketing, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar business development or marketing role, preferably within the venue management industry.
• Proven track record of success in business development, sales and marketing.
• Deep understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems).
• Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• An interest in, and passion for, the power and ability of education to make the world a better place.

 Hours: 37.5 hours per week

 Location: Based at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park. (Applicants should be aware that Cumberland Lodge is not easily accessible by public transport, therefore access to a car would be beneficial).

Annual leave: 33 days including Bank Holidays. The charity is closed over the Christmas period which will be deducted from the leave allocation. Use of a company car for business-related trips.

About the role and services:

Multiple Disadvantage and Complex Needs: These services provide accommodation and support to people who are moving from rough sleeping and who have needs relating to their mental and physical health, their substance addiction, offending behaviour and mental health. Often at the point of referral, a client’s needs have not been met by any of the services they may require. Part of our role is building the trusting relationships required to put the necessary support in place. Understandably, therefore, these services operate in challenging environments and require resilient and compassionate staff.

Young Peoples' Services: These services are dedicated to providing support to young people, specifically in relation to leaving care, offending behaviour, gang affiliation, complex mental health and anti-social behaviour. We work within a strengths and recovery framework embedded within a trauma informed approach to ensure client needs and aspirations are at the centre of the support planning process. Working in these services would mean overseeing the support and development of the young person’s needs and aspirations. The postholder will hold a caseload of complex cases and will be responsible for supporting the team to manage complex cases. You will guide and signpost the young person to the relevant statutory and non-statutory services and will be key in motivating and coaching the young person to develop independent living skills.

Floating Support Services: Focussed on fostering independence and empowering your clients, we work to support individuals to sustain their tenancy, enhance their wellbeing, build resilience, and achieve their goals and aspirations. Whether assisting with housing issues, addressing mental health concerns, or supporting the development of daily living skills, the primary goal is to enable clients to navigate challenges and lead fulfilling lives. All work undertaken will be in line with planned support, making sure that clients are actively involved and that the support offered is full and holistic. You would be part of a supportive and inclusive work environment that values teamwork and individual growth.

We are looking to recruit permanent staff with these qualities to provide SHP’s clients with consistent support in line with SHP’s values, delivery model, policies and procedures and support planning tools.

As a member of the Peripatetic Senior Practitioner Team, you will move between services and will generally cover a rota ‘line’ until we recruit to the vacancy that the worker is covering, providing interim supervisory support to staff teams as directed by the Team/Service manager. (In Multiple Disadvantage, Complex Needs and Young People Services, covering a rota 'line' will involve working on a rota that includes evening work and may also include regular weekend and Bank Holiday work.) You would then be reassigned to another service in need of your support. The role therefore provides an opportunity to model and share good practice between services.

SHP will support you with a comprehensive induction and training package, including how to work in SHP's trauma-informed support model.

About you:

• A high-level understanding and ability to manage the range of issues involved in the delivery of quality services to clients who may be at risk and who have complex mental health needs.
• Experience and an in-depth understanding of the principles and delivery of risk and needs assessment, planned support, goal setting and advocacy with clients within a recovery and strengths model, and the ability to share this and support others to deliver this.
• Demonstrable aptitude for monitoring, developing and supporting staff performance and the ability to motivate staff members to perform effectively.
• An ability to provide flexible and client centred solutions to problems of behaviour. Also, the ability to embed psychologically informed methods of work within an accommodation setting.
• A demonstrably high level of numeracy, literacy and comprehension in order to be able to contribute to budget setting, monitor expenditure, write reports and review, analyse and extrapolate from written information.
• Ability to co-ordinate the work of a number of individuals or agencies to get tasks completed to time and to specification.
• Strong networking skills, and proven ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to establish or improve services to service users.
• Specific skills and expertise support one of the SHP service groups - Adult Multiple Disadvantage and Mental Health Accommodation Services, Young People’s Services or Floating Support Services.
