We’re looking for a new Chief Executive Officer to lead our vital work, bringing their expertise in data and technology and their passion for nature to drive the NBN Trust forwards.

Salary: £65,575 – £68,854 depending on experience. 

Location: Fully remote, working from home, with some travel.

The NBN Trust is a nature charity with a difference. Our mission is making data work for nature. You’ll be responsible for: 

· Driving the delivery of our strategy and vision of making data work for nature.

· Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with our partners, funders and stakeholders.

· Overseeing the day-to-day management of the NBN Trust, ensuring financial sustainability, staff performance and wellbeing, and good governance.

We’re looking for someone with a data or digital background, with a track record of overseeing the delivery a high-quality user experience through digital products and commercialising data or digital services. Passion for nature conservation is essential, as well as a desire to engage with the many natural history specialists who contribute data to the NBN Atlas. We’re looking for an ambitious individual with an agile, entrepreneurial mind-set, who can drive income generation and growth.

The ideal candidate understands what an excellent data platform looks like and how to continually evolve this to keep up with trends and developments. Attention to detail and ability to horizon-scan is key in overseeing the Trust’s projects and key work streams and ensuring good governance. The NBN Trust is a small team, with a big responsibility, undergoing a period of change, and your role will be to steer the staff through this change and deliver the NBN Trust’s strategy.

We’re a 100% remote-working charity, so you’ll need to be comfortable and effective working from home. The whole team meets up four times a year for in-person team meetings (in London and other locations around the UK).  The post holder may be required to work occasional weekends and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Integration

• Develop and implement an integrated sales and marketing strategy for both the charity’s mission-driven goals and its commercial activities. Ensure the strategy drives the growth of both revenue from trading and funds raised for the charity’s projects.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to set clear, actionable goals for both the charity’s impact and its trading arm’s performance, aligning these objectives with broader organisational priorities.
• Analyse market conditions and trends, including competitor analysis, to identify opportunities and optimise marketing efforts, ensuring we remain agile and responsive to market demands.
• Lead the development of annual marketing plans, considering key events, fundraising activity, the academic calendar, and product launches for the trading arm.

• Lead the overall brand strategy, ensuring consistency and alignment across the charity’s marketing, digital, and communications efforts, both for the charitable initiatives and the trading arm.
• Oversee the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including digital content, print materials, advertising, and promotional campaigns that resonate with both sponsors and customers.
• Guide the development of integrated marketing campaigns that incorporate both charity-related content and the trading arm’s product offerings, reinforcing the message of social good while promoting commercial activities.
• Supervise digital marketing efforts, including website optimisation (SEO), social media strategies, and email marketing, to increase traffic, raise awareness, and drive conversions for both donations and product sales.

3. Revenue Generation & Sales Strategy

• Develop and drive sales strategies for the charity’s trading arm, including pricing, promotions, customer segmentation, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with the education team to create and market new product lines or services, ensuring they align with the charity’s values while meeting the needs and preferences of customers.
• Oversee the development and execution of sales funnels and customer acquisition strategies to increase conversion rates, sales volume, and customer retention.
• Implement loyalty and retention programs that encourage repeat purchases from customers of the trading arm and foster long-term engagement.
• Monitor sales performance, ensuring alignment with set targets, and provide timely adjustments to campaigns, product offerings, and pricing strategies to maximise revenue.
• Work with fundraising teams to ensure synergies between donation drives and trading promotions, leveraging the strength of both income sources.

4. Sponsor and Customer Engagement

• Utilise customer relationship management (CRM) systems to create tailored communication plans and deepen engagement with both sponsors and customers, encouraging more frequent and larger sponsorship or purchases.
• Foster a community of loyal supporters and customers, turning first-time buyers into repeat purchasers, and sponsors into long-term, committed advocates.
• Design campaigns that target both customers and sponsors, converting customers into sponsors by emphasising the positive social impact of their purchases, and vice versa.

5. Team Leadership and Development

• Lead a dynamic team of sales, marketing, and digital professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional development to ensure they reach their full potential.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the marketing and sales teams, with a focus on creativity, accountability, and shared success.
• Manage and nurture relationships with external partners, agencies, and contractors to supplement the in-house team’s efforts and bring in specialised expertise as needed.
• Encourage continuous learning and innovation within the team, allowing for fresh marketing and sales techniques to be tested and implemented.

• Develop marketing strategies for key seasonal and high-traffic events (e.g. Black Friday or January Sales), ensuring the charity and trading arm are both prominently featured.

7. Data Analytics and Performance Reporting

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for both the marketing and sales efforts across the charity and trading arm, with a strong focus on return on investment (ROI) for campaigns and product sales.
• Regularly analyse marketing data, tracking performance across channels, evaluating campaign results, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Provide detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for future growth.
• Conduct customer and sponsor behaviour analysis, utilising insights to adjust marketing and sales strategies and improve targeting.

8. Budget Management

• Oversee the marketing and sales budget for both the charity and trading operations, ensuring that funds are allocated effectively to maximise both financial contribution and the nasen’s mission.
• Monitor expenditure to ensure all campaigns are delivered within budget, making recommendations where necessary and full analysis on ROI.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• At least 7-10 years of experience in a senior sales and marketing role, ideally with experience managing both non-profit and commercial sales efforts.
• Proven track record of successfully leading integrated marketing campaigns and driving revenue growth in both the charity and ecommerce sectors.
• Experience in developing and executing sales strategies, including pricing, product development, customer acquisition and retention.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, digital marketing platforms, and data analytics tools.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, managing external agencies, and collaborating with senior leadership to meet organisational goals.

THE ROLE

The Girls’ Network aspires to reach more girls and increase the impact we have, so the importance of a strategic, effective and evidence-based monitoring and evaluation system is paramount. The Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL) Manager will ensure thoughtful, intelligent and consistent collection, collation and analysis of data which has the potential to publicly represent our girls’ needs and their aspirations.

Key roles and responsibilities

Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)

• Develop and employ monitoring systems to support high-quality programme implementation.
• Maintain and employ existing data-collection and evaluation systems to evaluate past and ongoing programmes.
• Calculate impact indicators and support data-driven organisational decision- making.
• Management of our CRM systems to support the Fundraising Team with monitoring of their application pipelines.
• Further the organisation’s current potential to meaningfully contribute to public discourse on the experience of teenage girls in the UK, on social mobility, and on the future of women’s leadership using available and newly created resources, data and insights.
• Develop the above evaluation and research into recommendations; working with the team and independently to inform and plan the creation and implementation of a monitoring system for our impact process, based on evaluation findings, industry research, and overall strategy and objectives.
• Work with the Communications Manager to develop / create the visual design and communication strategy for M&E systems so as to engage stakeholders and to empower our team and our girls.
• Internally and externally champion the use of our impact data to influence broader discourse and policy on the experience of teenage girls in the UK, social mobility, and the future of women’s leadership.
• Identify and understand different stakeholders' needs for monitoring and impact data.
• Manage external consultants and other stakeholders to support evaluations of particular projects as required.
• Understand M&E technology solutions, with a specific focus on gender equity and gender justice.

Learning and Research

• Working with Fundraising colleagues, regularly update the charity's Case for Support, reviewing the latest evidence and data on social mobility, the experience of teenage girls in the UK, and the future of women’s leadership, among wider gender issues.
• Design and deliver engaging whole-team training to enable new monitoring and impact collection processes to be carried out effectively at all levels.
• Working with the People and Culture Manager, promote and model a culture of learning and continuous development within the organisation, by employing and complementing existing systems.

Reporting

• Prepare and present status reports for grant-giving bodies (such as The Millby Foundation) according to the requirements of the grant.
• Prepare and present regular status reports for the CEO, and the board of trustees, as required.
• Contribute up-to-date data and insights to the annual report as well as to other grant and donor reporting.
• Work collaboratively with the Fundraising Team to identify upcoming reporting deadlines to funders.
• Creating clear overviews of the impact data collected in evaluation surveys, for the Fundraising and Programme teams to disseminate to funders and partner schools.
• Support the senior leadership, finance, and fundraising team, by calculating and reporting on social return on investment.

Database/CRM (Salesforce) management

• Manage user access and permissions in order to maintain data security and safeguard sensitive information.
• Create and maintain documentation to support both technical and non- technical data processes.
• Regularly evaluate and update Salesforce objects, automations, and other features as needed in response to business need, staying up-to-date on Salesforce functionality and recommending improvements to SLT.
• Staff support via developing and reviewing Salesforce training, establishing relationships, and managing Salesforce queries ad-hoc and in regular clinics.
• Maintain and develop Salesforce reports and dashboards to monitor data quality.

Other duties

As a small charity with limited resources, all staff are expected to be flexible with their work and as such you may be required to undertake other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.

Essential skills, knowledge and attributes

• Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to effectively employ, interpret and summarise qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources.

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Philanthropy Manager who is passionate about high value fundraising, relishes the challenge of growing a pipeline and is motivated by UNHCR’s work.

You will join our small but talented Philanthropy Team playing a key part in identifying and bringing on board new, prospective donors, as well as growing relationships and income from donors already supporting UK for UNHCR.

You will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy, CEO, trustees and international colleagues to steward and cultivate donor relationships, and to inspire and engage new supporters. An experienced fundraiser, you will provide strategic insight into how we grow and improve our programme. 

You will be confident in navigating complex environments with multiple stakeholders and in negotiating internally as well as externally. You will enjoy developing strong relationships, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and will be adept at managing prospect pipelines and crafting compelling donor communications.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES

• Grow prospect pipeline and the number of donors donating £10K+ to UNHCR’s work. 
• Grow UK for UNHCR’s sustainable income by growing the number of multi-year donors funding our programmes outside of emergencies. 
• Work with the wider international organisation to identify the most appropriate funding propositions for donors. 
• Craft compelling propositions and proposals for major donors and ensure quality and timely reporting back on gifts made.

Knights Youth Centre (KYC) was established in 1936 as an independent Christian Charity. The centre provides a range of universal and targeted youth work programmes in partnership with a number of statutory and voluntary organisations and is located on the boundary of the Clapham Park Estate (the largest estate in the Borough of Lambeth) in an area of high social need. In 2025 KYC is joining the Oasis family of charities and will be known as Oasis@Knights. Oasis’ vision is for community, a place where everyone is included, making a contribution and reaching their God-given potential.

We are seeking to recruit a Centre Manager who will work under the direction of the Knights Youth and Community Leader (YCL). They will be responsible for delivering a range of administrative, fabric and partnership functions to ensure the efficient, safe and smooth day-to-day running of the Centre.

Key responsibilities include:

· Work with the Youth and Community Leader (YCL) and Management Committee to plan and implement building improvements.

· Manage repairs, maintenance, and health & safety inspections within the allocated budget.

· Develop and oversee administrative systems, including vehicle upkeep, contract management, security, risk assessments, and stock replenishment.

· Oversee centre procedures on hygiene, risk management, security, and fire safety, including conducting unannounced fire drills.

· Carry out additional duties as required in line with centre priorities.

· Supervise the gardener to maintain outdoor spaces and ensure safe access.

The successful post holder must have:

· Ability to handle queries and resolve issues effectively

· Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills

· Knowledge of building management and relevant legislations.

· A commitment to the Oasis ethos and values, including inclusion, equality, and perseverance.
