Responsible to the CEO, the SENDIASS Manager will be responsible for managing the Shropshire SENDIASS team.
The role requires advice and supervisory skills and specific subject knowledge.

Relationship Fundraiser
Job title: Relationship Fundraiser
Hours: Full-time (Equivalent to 37.5 hours a week), in line with our flexible working policy. If you are unable to work full-time but are interested in the role, we’d be happy to hear from candidates who had a different proposed model of working in mind.

Purpose of the role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the charity/fundraising sector, looking to progress and develop a career focusing on community and individual giving activity.
You should want to use and grow your knowledge and aim to achieve excellent standards of fundraising through relationship building.
You’ll be passionate about continuous improvement, have a proactive attitude and be comfortable in suggesting new and/or better ways of working. You’ll enjoy a challenging and fulfilling environment, working with a supportive and forward-thinking team. You will have experience of planning and implementing projects and in providing high levels of stewardship – in addition to the ability to research, identify and reach potential new supporter groups within the community.

Main duties and responsibilities
This role requires input into and delivery of multiple income streams, working with the Community and Individual Giving Manager and the wider Fundraising Team. Duties and responsibilities will, at any given time, include:
Community Fundraising Related
Plan, develop and implement fundraising initiatives that appeal to community groups and associations. Devise community related products and resources that will aid community groups to further engage and raise funds.
Research, identify, apply for and secure new local level partnerships or one-off community type donations e.g. from Rotary/Lions Clubs, Musical Groups, Sports Clubs or Supermarket Charity of the Year.
Research, identify, apply for and secure new support from educational establishments such as Schools and Universities.
Promote collections in relevant geographic locations to Leukaemia Care’s hospital hubs or with a link to a supporter, patient or family.
Identify opportunities for Leukaemia Care to raise awareness around the charity’s Hospital Hub locations around the U.K.
Account manage any local community charity of the year partnerships that are secured, e.g. a Golf Club. Be their point of contact at Leukaemia Care.
Represent the organisation giving engaging talks, pitches and presentations on the work of the charity, as well as delivering thank you acceptance speeches where necessary.
Individual Giving Related
Administer and thank gifts from Individuals including one off donors and first-time donors.
Alongside the Community and Individual Giving Manager build rapport and meaningful relationships with identified mid-level donors and prospect major donors.
Research ideas, plan, devise, implement and develop virtual giving as an income stream.
Maximise income by promoting Gift Aid and securing declarations in relation to eligible UK taxpayers.
Support the Community and Individual Giving Manager to run the charity’s Regular Giving Programme, ensuring these committed and longstanding donors/members are thanked appropriately, regularly informed of their impact, and developed into long-term donors.
Support the Community and Individual Giving Manager with an externally run Lottery and our Lottery Players recruitment and retention.
Work with the Community and Individual Giving Manager to plan stewardship events. Be responsible for the logistical organisation of such events liaising with venues, making bookings and handling invitees requirements.
General Fundraising
Work within the Code of Fundraising Practice as set by the Fundraising Regulator and adhere to all relevant financial procedures.
Deliver and exceed targets across a wide variety of areas including Community and Individual Giving; including Mid-Level Giving, Lottery and Virtual Fundraising.
Represent the charity at events and cheque presentations as required.
Raise awareness to encourage support and make the most of any ‘cross-selling’ opportunities to promote other ways to get involved such as running events, gifts in Wills, Recycling, Payroll Giving, Volunteering etc.
Ensure that systems and processes are effective, and that our database is updated and utilised as the central source of information for recording income, supporter interactions and reporting.
Maximise the use of online fundraising tools, digital marketing and social media to increase
the generation of funds from all available sources.
Ensure the work produced across the team is of high quality, and reflective of the values of Leukaemia Care. Record all interactions with fundraisers or potential fundraisers on Raisers Edge NXT, our fundraising database (training will be provided).
Provide cover within the team as needed during periods of annual leave, sickness or where extra resources are needed.
Adopt a strong solution focused approach to help supporters overcome any challenges and maximise their fundraising efforts.
Improve supporter retention and engagement, building strong relationships and long-term supporters.
Ensure all supporters are appropriately thanked and help develop specific supporter journeys.
Assist with enquiries and donations over the telephone and by email.
Ensure that relevant pages on the Leukaemia Care website fundraising information is up to date.
Collate case studies, stories and photographs and share with the Comms Team for promotion.
Provide data to the Community and Individual Giving Manager to support the production of progress reports for presentation to the Senior Leadership Team and/or Board of Trustees.

About the role:
Key responsibilities include the design and facilitation of workshops, evaluation and exploitation of research, stakeholder engagement, and collaborating on research outputs, reports and deliverables. You will play a significant role in contributing to the project's impact while supporting your own professional development.
The project is led by Coventry University's Centre for Agroecology, Water, and Resilience (CAWR) focusing on sustainable, place-based food procurement in the UK. This position will work with a similar role within CAWR to deliver a range of research and dissemination activities across the project.
- The project involves interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research, utilizing living case studies of community food hubs (Cultivate Food Hub – Wales, Cambridge Food Hub, The Better Food Shed – London and Galloway Food Hub – Scotland) and open-source socio-technical innovations like the Open Food Network (OFN).
- It aims to drive transformative changes in food systems by addressing research questions related to small-scale producers, open-source innovations, place-based governance, sustainability impacts, and scaling mechanisms.
- The project involves multi-actor collaboration, data management practices, ethical considerations, and aims to create environmentally sustainable, local food systems while engaging stakeholders and contributing to policy development.
- The core team includes individuals from Coventry University, Garden Organic, and Social Farms & Gardens, with partners from organizations like Soil Association, Birmingham City Council, and Open Food Network involved in the project.
- The project runs for 48 months from October 2024, aiming to generate new knowledge and drive just, sustainable transitions in food systems.
You will be reporting to our Research Manager, and your core responsibilities and main duties are as follows:
- Day-to-day management and delivery of the research project P4G.
- Manage the internal communications with other GO staff involved with the project.
- Be the day-to-day conduit with the project leader (CAWR).
- Undertake research into public procurement focusing on the use of living case studies through:
- Stakeholder mapping and analysis,
- On-farm surveys
- Local data collection through interviews with procurers and producers, focus groups, mapping current procurement
- Developing market dialogues with farmers, chefs, kitchen staff, school leaders, and procurement officers to develop mutual understanding and contribute ideas to public food tender design.
- Working with the food hubs, and Heritage Seed Library, to implement small scale crop trials which will require travel throughout the UK.
- With our Head of Knowledge Transfer, work with local schools to improve their understanding of where food comes from and the role they play within local food systems, linking directly to aspects of the curriculum including food diversity and climate resilience.
- Supporting Garden Organic Staff in project communications (across a range of media types), dissemination of findings and impact assessment.

Many children fall behind with reading simply because they lack the opportunity to practise: Chapter One works to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most. Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports about 3,000 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 140 local and national businesses. The volunteer ask is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

The role:
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre is seeking a Learning and Teaching Manager to join its Learning team which focuses on delivering a range of exciting projects for young people, schools and teachers.
The Learning and Teaching Manager will play a key role in this team, managing and supporting Learning Coordinators to manage our projects. This role will not involve leading workshops with students or teachers directly. Instead, you will be responsible for developing our products, the strategy behind them, and ensuring that they are delivered to a high quality by the Learning Coordinators who manage them and freelance theatre practitioners engaged to deliver them. You will have management responsibility for 3 to 4 people and, with the support of the Senior Learning Manager, will help them to develop and deliver their best work.
You will also contribute to new projects by working closely with the Senior Learning Manager and Director of Education on bespoke requests from new partners (we get a lot of interesting organisations reaching out to us!) and helping to shape new mission-led initiatives, both in the UK and worldwide.
We are looking for someone who brings their own point of difference to the team and can therefore strengthen us with a different perspective and experience. · Working to engage young people, schools or other learning institutions in a similar context to the Globe, for example: theatres, social enterprises, charities, arts organisations, heritage organisations, museums, government, or other relevant bodies
· Management in arts organisations
· Management in social enterprises, or other organisations that have a social impact on young people
· Project management.

You will play a key role in the successful establishment, monitoring and management of the Apprenticeship style training programme for trainees in Children and Young People work in churches in the Diocese of Southwark.

Essential characteristics:
- Have at least two year’s experience of working in the charity sector, voluntary sector, or the public sector in a role with some similar role and functions
- Experience of developing and delivering outreach work to build the capacity of people to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to bring about social change
- Understanding of working in the charity sector, and in particular what it means to work for positive change whilst not being a campaign group
