Our charity, the Carers Support Centre, works across Bristol and South Gloucestershire to support unpaid family carers who are supporting their loved ones at home.
We currently have a vacancy in our Adult Services Team to support the Chief Executive and Senior Management Team and work with our Adult Carer Team. This is a senior role that requires managerial experience, an understanding of the health and social care sector, safeguarding, empathy and the ability to work with different employed teams and volunteers.

· Ensure that the strategic development of the adult carer services are co-ordinated and services are delivered in line with funded contract requirements, CSC's development plan and local and national strategies and priorities.
· Be responsible for the support, supervision, management and development of the Carer Support Team, Health Team, Volunteer Development & Carers Time Team Managers and the Walk & Talk lead.
· Be the Adult Safeguarding lead, working in conjunction with the Children’s Safeguarding lead and deputies.
· Lead on the staff wellbeing programme and areas of work.

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser to equip our organisation with the financial resources needed to meet our objectives. The post-holder will lead on growing our charitable income across all funding streams, maximising supporter engagement and fulfilling operational duties, such as overseeing a fit-for-purpose database.
This is a new role with a significant input into our plans and strategies for the future. The successful candidate will report to the CEO and oversee most fundraising income generation.
The Fundraiser will build positive relationships to secure significant income, develop links specifically with churches and individuals and bring in regular/targeted income through recurring donations, fundraising campaigns and events. The ideal candidate will have experience covering several areas including Individual Giving; Churches, Fundraising Appeals/Campaigns as well as experience in managing the operational aspects of fundraising (database, compliance with codes of practice and fundraising regulations, creating campaigns). Through this, you will assist the whole organisation in our commitment to showing kindness, raising self-belief and inspiring hope for the future in the individuals we serve.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work with Senior Leadership Team to develop, deliver, and monitor a fundraising strategy for Pecan.
- Establish systems, procedures, proactive stewardship, and an engagement programme to provide the highest levels of service to Pecan’s supporters.
- Assist with setting up a CRM database with responsibility and maintaining appropriate data capture for the purpose of effective stewardship, fundraising and communications.
- Work with Senior Leadership to develop an Individual Giving and Acquisition strategy that drives growth for individual giving across multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
- Pioneer and develop a broad range of relationships with churches, organisations, and denominations across Southwark, with support from the CEO.
Key Requirements (specific skills, qualifications required):
- Experience of all fundraising methods
- Excellent strategic planning skills and able to balance competing priorities
- Experience working on either eTapestry, Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce or Donorfy CRM systems

Qualifications and Experience
- Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, business administration, marketing, or a related field (master's degree preferred). Membership with the Institute of Fundraising.
- Significant experience in non-profit fundraising, development, or related field, with a proven track record of success in meeting fundraising goals and securing major gifts - annual fundraising income of upward of £1 million.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate the charity's mission and impact to diverse audiences.
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling fundraising appeals, grant proposals, and other donor communications.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in donor management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant fundraising tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices, ethical guidelines, and regulations governing charitable organisations.
- Working knowledge of marketing communications strategy and donor engagement.

The Magpie Project supports women with preschool children who are living in temporary or insecure accommodation in Newham and other London boroughs. We provide stay-and-play sessions alongside casework around housing, immigration, and other related issues, plus healthy home-made food, a baby bank, and a focus on high-quality play and creativity for mums and minis to foster a sense of joy and belonging.
We advocate and campaign, alongside our mums, on the issues which have the greatest impact on their lives. We have grown quickly since our birth in 2017, and we now support over 500 families a year with 11 members of staff and a turnover of approximately £500,000 pa.
We are in a positive position with regards to our fundraising and finances, with several long-term core grants as well as smaller project grants, a number of corporate partners who donate both time and money to the project, and a loyal community of individual donors and fundraisers.

About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and organised Office Administrator to join our team. Tenebrae is one of the world’s leading vocal ensembles, renowned for its core values of passion and precision. Since the choir began in 2001, we have aimed to move and inspire audiences all over the world through dramatic programming and immersive experiences.
The choir performs around 60 concerts each year across the UK, Europe, the US and further afield, including at some of the world’s most prestigious concert venues and festivals. Alongside its busy concert and recording schedule, the ensemble delivers a rapidly growing Learning & Connection programme, working with hundreds of children, young people and amateur singers across schools and other community settings. In the past 5 years Tenebrae’s programme of activities has grown considerably, but in order to maintain this we now need to grow all areas of our fundraising. For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to make a transformational difference to Tenebrae’s artistic scope and financial sustainability as we approach our 25th anniversary in the 2026-27 season.
The Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Working with the CEO to refresh and implement our 3-year fundraising strategy;
- Fundraising from Trusts, Foundations, individuals and corporates to support the charity’s core costs as well as artistic and educational initiatives;
- Working with our Development Board to identify new challenges and opportunities.

Location
After an initial period of office-based training, we are happy to consider flexible and remote working in order to facilitate other commitments such as caring responsibilities, although ideally you will be based in our office in Hammersmith for at least 2 days per week.
Hours
We are advertising this as a full-time position at 35 hours per week plus a one-hour lunch break each day. However, for the right candidate we would be happy to discuss the possibility of working part-time (4 days per week) or compressed hours. Our standard office hours are 09:30 - 17:30, Monday to Friday. On occasion you may be required to attend weekend or evening events, for which you will be entitled to time off in lieu (TOIL).

We exist to improve the quality of life for all carers by building genuine and equal relationships, connecting carers with each other to create a sense of belonging and community, providing practical and emotional supports, and influencing change at local and national level.
Established in 1996, we have grown significantly over the last 25 years, and we are now supporting nearly 2,000 unpaid adult and young carers across Angus. Qualifications and knowledge:

About the Role
Since the World Congress of Soil Science, which we hosted in Glasgow in 2022, the British Society of Soil Science (BSSS) is becoming increasingly recognised as the go-to organisation for evidence relating to soil.
This new post will deliver the Society’s activities around our policy work; producing draft guidance notes and consultation responses for our committees to comment on, working with policymakers and stakeholders to raise awareness of our members’ collective evidence-base and best practice knowledge.
You will work closely with the Executive Director to understand the Society’s priorities and support the delivery of our strategy by developing relevant guidance and policy projects, whilst horizon scanning to seek opportunities for the Society to have influence externally.
Your activities will make a demonstrable difference in raising awareness of the Society’s work amongst external stakeholders, leading to opportunities for collaboration and income generation.

About You
Educated to degree level or equivalent you will be an established Policy and Public Affairs professional, with good attention to detail, agile in approach with excellent communication and influencing skills.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of coordinating and delivering policy responses, working with internal and external stakeholders in the development of policy and projects, and raising awareness of an organisation’s profile with politicians, policymakers and opinion formers.

About the role
Project Scotland, part of the national charity Volunteering Matters, supports young people to get on in life through the power of volunteering. Brighter futures work with pupils (aged 13-16), we offer disadvantaged pupils struggling to engage with the regular school curriculum the opportunity to undertake a volunteering placement as well as the option of having a mentor. We support and empower pupils to gain skills and confidence in a new environment within the wider community, promoting a sense of belonging, whilst extending horizons and aspirations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
- To build relationships with secondary school pupils, particularly those on flexible timetables, who have complex and challenging barriers, acting in a non-judgemental way to support them through their Brighter Futures journey
- Consistently role modelling and displaying Volunteering Matters organisational values
- Deliver and develop the Brighter Futures Schools programme within in St Thomas of Aquins R.C High School, meeting ambitious targets and milestones, ensuring all young people engaged achieve positive outcome.
- Provide pre and post volunteering practical and emotional support to each pupil, helping to build their confidence and identify achievable goals as well support the pupil to complete awards and qualifications linked to their volunteering.
- Engaging with current charity partners, not for profit organisations and social enterprises and developing new ones in line with our Best Practice for under 16’s volunteering.
- Develop diverse, high quality and bespoke volunteer placements with third sector partners that reflect the needs and interests of pupils.
