Who we are
We are a small, lively and expanding charity promoting the personal development of young people in partner schools, through challenging activities that they design, plan and finally undertake adult free. We invite students (usually in groups) to develop their own challenges, something they want to do but which is well outside their ‘comfort zones’ and to be responsible for every stage of them: we provide planning support, risk management, and expenses funding. Our award winners have climbed the highest UK peaks, cycled to Paris, performed plays at school, harnessed green power via a bike, among many other imaginative and ambitious projects.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for an energetic, talented and reliable candidate to coordinate our schools’ outreach team, inspiring high-quality applications for funding from Year 12s. We are at an exciting stage of growth, now in 20% of London schools, so there is great scope to shape our strategic direction, including cultivating our alumni network of previous award winners. We are looking for competent leader, ideally with experience of risk and physical challenge, and strong administrative skills, who is comfortable working with schools. He/she will be keen to work with a growing charity, and to support young people usually with a poverty of experience and opportunity.
The post is up to 4-5 days per week, based in Southwark, with frequent travel to schools across London. The salary is £30,000 – £35,000 pa pro rata depending on experience. Flexible working considered.

The Training and Registers Officer is responsible for supporting the RSB’s overarching training agenda through administration, evaluation and development. The successful candidate will help to ensure that the objectives in the RSB business plan are met, with an emphasis on developing a comprehensive training offering to meet the needs of our members and the wider scientific community. In addition, there will be a requirement to provide administrative support to the Professional Registers and the Accreditation programme to ensure growth and high quality standards in both these important areas.

The Group Finance Director holds a key role in the executive team in the Foundation Office of the Charity. They are accountable for all matters relating to the UWGCF Charity finance, including the oversight of school income, endowment investments, loans, subsidiary companies, VAT, and the leadership of the Foundation finance team. To succeed in the job, the post holder needs to build effective working relationships with independent school bursars and finance teams and link effectively with the Business managers in the state funded academies.
The UWGCF is a complex organisation, and the post holder will need to demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build effective and supportive working relationships with other and be prepared to engage fully in the work of the Foundation. This may mean working outside of normal working hours but most importantly means communicating and work with colleagues as part of the team.
Initially they will report to the Chair of Trustees, although following a Governance Review and further work on Foundation Strategy, the Trustees may appoint a Foundation CEO. In the meantime the Foundation Office is led by a joint executive comprising three executives: Director of Governance and Operations, Director of HR, and Director of Finance.

This is a full time post, based in central London Salary: £40,291
The coalition
Send My Friend to School is a UK civil society coalition of international development NGOs, teachers’ unions and charities.
It brings together young people, politicians, teachers, civil society and the media in joint campaigning to demand quality education for all children across the globe. Each year thousands of schools and young people take part in the campaign, teaching young people the power and importance of using their voices in chorus with others across the globe to create positive change.
Send My Friend to School is the UK coalition of the Global Campaign for Education movement which is present in over 90 countries around the world.
Location
This role will be employed by Send My Friend to School Steering Group member Results UK, on behalf of the Send My Friend to School coalition, and will be based in Results UK’s office near Waterloo. Hybrid working is in place whereby staff are required to work from the office at least 2 days a week.
Terms & Conditions
This is a full time (35 hours per week), permanent post, with a 3 month probation period. There is likely to be occasional evening and weekend work involved, for which time off in lieu will be received. Holidays are 25 days pro rata per year plus bank holidays. Line Management
Although working solely on Send My Friend to School coalition activities the Campaign Manager will be employed as part of the Results UK team. Consequently, they will be formally managed by the Results UK Head of Parliamentary Advocacy in terms of workplace-related and employment issues.

Schools Project Officer (Estates)

The Schools Project Officer is a crucial business administrative role at the Diocese, as you will act as the first point of contact for projects concerning the development and maintenance of school sites and buildings, from senior leaders, governors, parish officers or our professional advisers.
Reporting to the Schools Officer and working within the Children, Young People and Education team, you will support the oversight of related grant funding and manage other bespoke projects such as promoting decarbonisation initiatives for church schools and organising land registrations. You will also advise school leaders and governors in relation to school organisation and the use or development of land and buildings.
As Schools Project Officer, you will act as facilitator between various internal and external teams, providing support through monitoring projects relating to school estates (building developments, maintenance and repairs), whilst making proactive enquiries and interventions to sustain progress against recorded timescales.
You will also take responsibility for managing grants held by the Diocese and liaising with schools regarding suitable projects and available funding, helping schools to prioritise projects for effective estate management.
A crucial part of our strategy is to assess the environmental impact of the Diocese’s church schools, planning for and supporting schools to advance decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects. As Schools Project Officer you will regularly update and signpost church schools to banks of practical materials and resources for decarbonisation campaigns, toolkits and projects, building case studies of best practice.
With an understanding of or experience in business administration, estate management or project support, you should be capable of supporting projects and have the ability to apply understanding to tasks. Capable of summarising complex information clearly, you should be able to explain the progress of projects to those with no specialist understanding.
Forward thinking, adaptable and responsive to a varied work programme, you should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have evidence of recent study, training or development and a willingness to learn new knowledge and technical skills.
It is essential for you to be supportive of the vision of the CYPE team and to be sympathetic to the contribution of Church of England schools to Christian mission.
The ability to travel and a willingness to attend occasional evening and weekend meetings and events is essential.
An understanding and awareness of Church of England structures and knowledge of the current educational landscape within the context of church schools, along with experience of budget management or creating financial reports would be desirable.

Experience:
- Experience of working in a comparable role within the charity sector or education, with a proven track record of successful communications across a wide range of disciplines and platforms.
- Experience of working in a comparable role delivering communications to influence policy at local, regional and national level.
- Experience of efficiently and accurately analysing complex information in a clear and concise manner for written materials and for different audiences
- Experience of evaluating and analysing the impact of communications, identifying opportunities, and making and implementing recommendations.
- Experience of maintaining effective digital systems including Content and Customer Management Systems (CRM and CMS), email marketing and online platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIN, Eventbrite, Mailchimp).

As Global Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer, you will support PEAS country level MEL teams in fulfilling their learning objectives in relation to delivering our school improvement technical assistance programme to non-PEAS partner schools. The MEL Officer will be part of the Global Technical Team, and will contribute to the team’s primary objectives to boost the efficacy and impact of the organisation's initiatives across Uganda, Zambia, and Ghana.
We are looking for an individual with significant MEL experience, ideally in relation to education programmes in low resource settings of Uganda, Zambia, and/or Ghana. Experience in fulfilling institutional donor requirements is desirable, ideally to include USAID and/or FCDO.
To be successful in this role you will have strong communication skills, demonstrating the ability to guide, motivate and support members of the wider global MEL team. You will be highly experienced in working with data, and have strong data analysis skills. About the role
The school holds a triple crown accreditation having AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS as well as other accreditations such as Small Business Charter and Bronze Athena Swan Award. The Senior Projects Officer (Accreditation) will play a crucial role in working alongside the Strategic Projects Manager (Accreditation) and the Associate Dean (Quality Assurance & Accreditation) to ensure effective implementation and coordination of the faculty’s accreditation function.
The role involves working alongside multiple functions and stakeholders in the faculty (business operations, alumni, careers, and external engagement) on multiple and varied activities, including collation of data for annual report submissions, overseeing, and servicing the Accreditation Steering Group, supporting accreditation visits, and providing accreditation project support across the Business School. You will represent the Business School at relevant events, gain training in a wide variety of Quality Assurance and Accreditation processes and will contribute to coordinating additional projects across other faculty functions.
The ideal applicant will be confident at gathering, collating, and presenting quantitative data in different formats, coordinating multiple and competing projects, and be confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to deliver a quality project coordination function.
