The Marketing & Communications Administrator reports to the Senior Manager – Children & Community and works in a team alongside the Community Development worker to build and enhance all of T&T’s work. The part-time role combines business and creativity to maintain Time & Talents’ voice and presence, connecting with local children, families, adults and older people in the Bermondsey and Rotherhithe areas – that is to say, all of our neighbours! What we do Time & Talents is a lively, busy community centre in the heart of Rotherhithe, London SE16. Set in a leafy heritage building, and ‘T&T2’, our second venue in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, we offer something for everyone. With a history of 137 years of supporting people of all ages in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, we bring people together for mutual support, fun and friendship, with a wide range of services and activities for older people and other adults, along with children and families’ programmes and a range of volunteering projects.

The role

• Maintain social media accounts, website, regular newsletters and promotional materials in close collaboration with programme teams

• Collaborate with management team to create effective, engaging reports to a range of funders and other stakeholders

• Lead on community fundraising initiatives with management team support

• Maintain a unified tone and thematic approach across all media and marketing platforms

The purpose of the role is to promote continuous improvement of the health and safety practice and culture across Dimensions.  This will include advising and providing information to managers, carrying out risk assessments and investigations, and ensuring a programme of safety audits/fire risk assessments is maintained.

About the role - Your main duties will include: 

• To ensure that a programme of safety audits and inspections, including fire risk assessments, is maintained.
• To support managers in developing health and safety plans to ensure the effective management and good practice in the maintenance of a safe and healthy working and living environment.
• To advise on the management of accidents and incidents in accordance with RIDDOR and other regulations and to provide support in the investigation of accidents and incidents and insurance claims where appropriate.
• To respond to requests for assistance, advice and information on health and safety related matters, referring to appropriate internal and external resources.
• To review health and safety policies and update guidance regularly to ensure that Dimensions remain up to date with legislation.
• To attend meetings within their region to provide advice and guidance and produce regional data to highlight health and safety related issues
• To attend virtual meetings and provide practical solutions working alongside departments to develop health and safety initiatives.

About you - The successful applicant will have: 

• A track record in a Health & Safety role
• NEBOSH General Certificate (fire safety qualifications are desirable but not essential)
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of conducting safety audits and inspections
• Knowledge of undertaking fire risk assessments and fire safety legislation
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations relevant to Dimensions’ services
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage their own diary and ensure that audit/fire risk assessments visits are undertaken
• Ability to use and develop skills in the various software applications including Microsoft and other applications used by Dimensions.

We are looking for an individual who will thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding role helping to change the lives of young people by taking up a fixed-term role as a part-time Project Worker in our IntoUniversity centre in North Islington. Main duties of the role

About the Role

We're seeking a driven, empathetic, Programme Officer to help make a difference in the lives of asylum seekers, refugees, and young people in London.

As a Programme Officer, you'll play an important role in supporting our work, from helping recruit and train volunteer mentors to ensuring our CRM system is up to date and being the first point of contact for young people and their families. You’ll also ensure our mentors feel supported and will help them to provide a great experience for the young people they support.

Your role will also involve hands-on activities, like organising half-term trips, running weekly Youth Support Groups, and working directly with young people in temporary accommodation.

You'll be a confident communicator, who enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds and has a passion for supporting children and young people to improve outcomes. Alongside an excellent ability to manage multiple tasks, you'll also be able to work as part of a growing team. As a Young Adult Intervention Coach (YIC), you will be responsible for the assessment and implementation of tailored intervention coaching plans for each at risk young person on your caseload. You will work to achieve progression outcomes for each young person that includes reducing mental, physical, and emotional harm and supporting each young person transition to positive, thriving lifestyle both on a one-to-one basis, and in partnership with other individuals and agencies involved in the lives of each young person.

Your purpose is to identify, disrupt, challenge, and support young people to move out of harm and prevent further involvement in harmful activities. This will involve targeted street work, specialised one to one harm reduction and life skills coaching. 

Alongside this you will work with intervention frontline colleagues in tertiary intervention such as knife and gun crime crisis situations as well as working with partner agencies.

You will have robust frontline experience of working with young people, including experience in engaging, assessing, and delivering interventions designed to support young people to build personal resilience and move away from harm and violence. You will also possess sound risk assessment skills and safeguarding knowledge.  A key component of the job role is case management and knowledge of good practice models, which will underpin their practice, is essential.

Together we are on an exciting journey to deliver equitable end of life and palliative care to more people across the Greater Birmingham areas and to helps us achieve this vision, we are looking for an enthusiastic House Clearance/Retail Driver to join our busy Retail Team.

Reporting to the Retail Logistics and House Clearance Manager, primarily you will be responsible for supporting our team in providing house clearance services. Other duties include moving stock between locations, PAT testing electrical items (after training) and helping in our furniture shop (in Cotteridge) as and when required. In doing so you will help Retail achieve its income budgets by providing the day-to-day operations to the highest standard, providing excellent customer service to both donors and customers.

Requirements:

· A full, clean driving license and the ability to travel to any of our shops or potential donor’s houses using hospice commercial vehicles is essential in this new role, as is the need to be able to lift heavy loads as the role involves extensive lifting.

· You will assist the Retail Logistics and House Clearance Manager to ensure that the wider retail department is effectively staffed by covering sick leave, annual leave and supporting staff absence for the existing retail drivers, sometimes at short notice.

This role offers hybrid working between home and either our Blackpool office, surrounded by excellent amenities or our Ashburton office, situated on the edge of the beautiful Dartmoor National Park (a robust home broadband connection is essential). You will need to live within an easily commutable distance of the office either by car or public transport, we suggest up to an hour's commute. During the probation and training period you will be required to come into the office at least 2 days a week.

The Financial Accountant will support the central finance team by maintaining robust financial processes, preparing reports, managing payroll, and assisting with audits, budgets, and income tracking, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and safeguarding standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support robust financial processes in line with organisational policies.
• Prepare monthly cash book journals, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet control accounts.

• Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and management accounts.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis, bench-marking, and audit support.

Essential:

• Part-qualified or working towards an accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA)

• Experience in IRIS/PSF or the education sector
