The Role
As B Lab UK’s Marketing Assistant, you'll be a key collaborator in our small and dynamic marketing team. You will be working closely with the Marketing Manager to execute and enhance our marketing strategy. Your work will help create a brilliant user experience, thereby driving one of our key objectives, to nurture continued buy-in for our movement and work towards delivering our theory of change. You are data-driven, have a passion for copy, enjoy learning new platforms, and have a passion for small changes in work driving change to create impact.
Responsibilities will include

Support the Marketing Manager to deliver the marketing strategy, through executing marketing activities, from e-newsletters to product launches.

Contribute to the monitoring and optimisation of Google Ads, ensuring that ad copy is aligned with our brand guidelines and tailored to our audiences

Draft audience profiles, aligning with key personas, to inform and guide copywriting efforts across paid media campaigns.

Create compelling copy for user-facing channels including the website and newsletters to develop new and existing buy-in for the movement.

Work with the Marketing Manager in fulfilling website content requests and ensure consistency in messaging.

Utilise copywriting skills to refine messaging and communication strategies based on data-driven results.

Assist the Marketing Manager to update the website with copy and images to create a visually engaging website

Work with the Marketing Manager to execute campaigns and product launches (B Corp month, training products, lead generation campaigns) where needed with paid media and email marketing.

Facilitate the execution of the SEO strategy to ensure B Lab UK’s website maintains a high SEO ranking.

Helping to produce and review content and resources with sustainable best practices to improve user experiences.

JOB PURPOSE:
CVS Brent is looking to recruit its next Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation and manage the implementation of programmes that enhance the capacity of voluntary and community organisations in the borough of Brent.
The incoming CEO will play a crucial role in leading CVS Brent through a pivotal transition period with a focus on stabilising the organisation and laying the groundwork for meaningful organisational change. CVS Brent is a dynamic and independent charity dedicated to supporting the diverse and vibrant voluntary sector in Brent. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
While no specific qualification is required, evidence of recent continuing professional development in areas such as management, leadership, or organisational culture is desired. Alternatively, equivalent work experience in a related field will be considered.

Purpose of the Role
As a Senior Regional Lead, you will play a vital role in supporting Local Authorities and housing providers in achieving DAHA accreditation. This role is key to the delivery of DAHA’s strategic goals and will give you the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of domestic abuse survivors across the housing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and guidance to up to four Regional Leads, helping them achieve their goals and maintain high levels of engagement.
- Work with housing providers and local authorities to promote and support their journey towards achieving DAHA accreditation.

NAPAC provides the only free national support service for adult survivors of all types of childhood abuse. We offer specialist, confidential support to all adult survivors of any type of abuse, operated by experienced staff and trained volunteers.
We are looking for new colleagues who are empathetic and resilient with a real passion for supporting people through their healing journey. We want our team to reflect the diversity of the people we support, and actively encourage applicants with different lived experience.
NAPAC works closely with the criminal justice and public health sectors. We support survivors to navigate and understand their options with criminal and civil law, and in healing and recovery. Choice is key, and our website provides a lot of free information for survivors and those supporting them.
As a trusted public-health organisation, people use NAPAC’s services to support their overall health and wellbeing, to build and improve their resilience, and to be able to make brave, positive choices every day – including asking for help when they need it.
Those using our services ask for support with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, isolation, navigating relationships, dissociative identity disorder, reporting to the police, domestic and sexual violence, boundaries, and complex post-traumatic stress. As a support line Call Handler, you will be a key member of our dedicated team, providing emotional support and a safe environment for callers with a wide range of complex issues.
NAPAC offers full training and hands-on support for call handlers with every call they receive. You will use the knowledge and skills you’ve developed through our training to explore issues relating to childhood abuse and it how it effects adulthood and signpost callers to relevant resources and services that can provide more in-depth support. Calls are caller-led, and you will be there to empower each caller to take back control in their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow confidentiality and safeguarding policies
- Provide appropriate signposting to external services in accordance to callers identified needs.
- Ensuring that key record keeping is maintained to the required standard and contributing to service monitoring requirements
- You will have the emotional resilience to be able to support individuals who may be severely distressed, experienced trauma, and people who may be at risk of harm.
- The ability to think on your feet to support callers who may call during panic attacks or flashbacks
- Excellent communication skills, spoken and written.
- Providing email support to individuals.

Hours: 17.5 per week (0.5 FTE) to be worked flexibly across the week, in person. Remote and hybrid working is not available for this role.

Here for You is Breast Cancer Now’s personalised referral route to all of our services.
There are 2 roles, both of which are responsible for making initial and follow up calls to primary and secondary breast cancer patients.
We’re expanding our team due to demand and to continue to ensure patients get calls within service level agreements. And to provide timely and trusted information and support to people diagnosed with breast cancer. This involves responding to safeguarding issues, collecting data, and deliver excellent information on the phone.
The role also involves collaborating with colleagues focusing on the Here for You expansion and integration, as well as working with colleagues across the primary services, secondary services and personalised support services. The role also liaises with our Helpline team.
About you
For both of these roles, we’re looking for enthusiasm and people with strong communication skills (especially on the phone) and who have experience of working in a fast-paced and people-facing environment. The right candidates will provide quality phone calls and be willing to adapt and innovate. The Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC) is a vibrant and growing charity delivering life changing nautical adventure for young people through the Sea Cadets to give them the best possible head start in life. We also provide personal and professional development opportunities for seafarers with the Marine Society. Working with our staff, cadets, and volunteers, we have built a vision and five-year strategy to take us forward and further improve the astounding contribution already made through our work to the lives of thousands of young people and seafarers, while fully supporting our volunteers who are vital to our success.
We are currently looking for a 1st Mate or 1st Lieutenant to join our team.
About the role
The primary purpose of the 1st Mate / 1st Lieutenant on board the Marine Society’s Power Vessels is to act as the Second in Command of the TS Jack Petchey. You will be supporting the Commanding Officer to deliver high quality sail training experiences to cadets aged between 12-18. The vessels travel throughout the UK and near continent between March and November each year. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, discipline, morale, welfare and day-to-day employment of permanent crew members, embarked personnel and cadets is appropriately managed. You will also act as the vessel’s Training Officer and Safety Officer.
Responsibilities
- To stand deck watches in a 1-in-2 with the Commanding Officer when at sea (usually only sailing during daylight hours).
- Ensure compliance with the MSSC Offshore Safety Management System.
- To initiate and deliver the adult and cadet training programmes.
- To organise and run the ship's routine giving due regard to hours of work, rest and mealtimes.
- To act as part of the vessel’s emergency response team, managing the delivery of first aid or firefighting.
- To be responsible for the routine maintenance and serviceability of the ship's tender; lifejackets, harnesses and other life-saving appliances in accordance with the MSSC electronic maintenance system.
- To carry out general ship husbandry tasks and support winter maintenance tasks.
- To liaise with Offshore Operations and the Personnel Officer regarding crew lists, next of kin, medical and dietary details maintaining an accurate soul’s onboard list.
Requirements
- Yachtmaster Offshore (Power) or Master 200 - for up to 24m with commercial endorsement qualification.
- Internationally recognised Certificate of Competency (CoC).
- Confidence to take Command of the vessel in the absence of the permanent Commanding Officer.
- Ability to gain and maintain an ENG1 Medical Certificate or ML5 Medical Certificate.
- RYA Level 2 Powerboat.

- MCA OOW Unlimited.

Summary
