Post Title: Team Leader
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with regular evening and weekend shifts required. Shifts will be scheduled to ensure team cover from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm daily.

Purpose of the post
● Support the Programme Manager to oversee effective and consistent delivery, performance, and quality assurance across the health settings, working with the Director of Services and other leaders to enhance and develop the offer. Including through involving young people in service design and development aligned to the Redthread Youth Participation Strategy.
● Lead Redthread teams delivering services, ensuring that Redthread’s models of intervention are delivered consistently and appropriately to all young people accessing the services.
● Build and maintain strong working relationships with a broad range of partners and agencies, including clinical teams, hospital staff, Redthread’s stakeholders, project partners, and voluntary and statutory agencies working with young people.
● Be part of the team at Redthread, contributing to the development of our programmes and assisting with other projects and activities as required.

About the role
The British Science Association's mission is to transform the diversity and inclusivity of science. The BSA’s community engagement programmes focus on reaching these groups.
The Community Engagement Officer will provide support in delivering the BSA’s community engagement programmes. This role would suit someone with experience of supporting community engagement programmes.
Key responsibilities: Community Engagement programmes
The main responsibilities are to:
- Support the delivery of the British Science Week Community Grant Scheme and the creation/dissemination of the British Science Week Community Activity Pack
- Provide support for the delivery of the Community Buddies programme, the Community Lead Research Pilot and a Community Grants scheme for a new funder.
- Manage the BSA Communities social media accounts, working with Communications team colleagues
- Coordinate and help to grow the Community Engagement Network
- Manage communications for, and support development of, the Community Engagement Network members including writing newsletters, email updates and working with Comms colleagues to develop blog content
- Support with writing of funding proposals that lead to the growth of the community engagement portfolio
- Support projects delivered by other BSA teams as needed and undertake other duties as reasonably required by the line manager

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the Data Officer will meet data needs relating to the management and delivery of supporter and engagement products. The post-holder will work alongside three other Data Officers to assess, prioritise and provide solutions including the building of data selections and journeys for direct marketing purposes and the running of supporter data imports and exports.
Experience of using CRM Dynamics, Faststats and PeopleStage and or any Donor CRM for marketing purposes will make you a person of interest to us. Communication skills play a key part in this role, because you will need to be able to talk through or present selections or solutions to stakeholders.

Fundraising Strategy Development

- Collaborate with the team to ensure the charity's website is updated with the latest fundraising activities and donation options, maintaining a dynamic and engaging online presence.
Trusts and foundations
- Support the Head of Fundraising with research and identification of grant opportunities relevant to WECare.
- Collaborate in preparing and submitting grant applications to trusts and foundations, including checking monitoring data, proofreading reports, and ensuring timely submission.
- Work with the team to implement corporate fundraising policies, ensuring that WECare can respond appropriately to fundraising approaches by companies.
Community Fundraising and Event Planning
- Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising and the team to create and implement a comprehensive Community Fundraising Strategy.
- Plan, organise, and execute a diverse range of fundraising events, including supporter dinners, challenge events like the Great North Run, charity walks, auctions, and community fairs.
- Expand local support networks in both Sri Lanka and the UK.
- Organise occasional engagement events for supporters, further strengthening relationships and encouraging continued financial support.
- Coordinate with volunteers and staff to ensure seamless event execution and the achievement of fundraising targets.
- Manage and steward Challenge event (Great North Run) fundraisers through the WhatsApp group chat, fostering a supportive and motivated network.
- Work closely with the broader team to develop a Volunteer Fundraising Strategy.
Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all fundraising activities, monitor income, and donor information on the charity database.
- Assist in developing and managing the new CRM system, including setting up and integrating a comprehensive database CRM platform and Mailchimp for effective donor communication and management.
- Ensure donor data is meticulously maintained, supporting the use of CRM tools to manage donor relationships effectively, including ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Contribute to the refinement and thorough documentation of new digital processes such as the Sponsor a Dog (SPAD) programme, ensuring clear guidelines and streamlined operations across all initiatives.

The Role

POSITION SUMMARY
This is a critical role in the organisation, reporting to the Senior Director - Innovation. The role is responsible for the implementation, oversight and continued improvement of the organisation’s security risk management framework and processes.
The Security Manager will support both our own project teams as well as the work we do with partners which includes training and accompaniment on human rights documentation and the security risk management necessary to do this work safely. About the role:
The British Museum's Advancement department is responsible for securing funds for the Museum from across a menu of different fundraising activities. - To be responsible for the day to day management and renewal of an agreed upon number of corporate sponsors, partners and members on an annual basis, recognising opportunities to increase revenue to sponsorship level when available.
- To recruit an agreed upon number of new corporate sponsors, partners and members on an annual basis (securing multi-year agreements whenever possible).
- To play an active role in development of new business pitches (with the support of either the Manager Corporate Relations or Head of Corporate Relations).
Account Management
- Maintaining regular communications with corporate supporters in the assigned portfolio and cultivating the relationships for future giving.
- Ensuring the efficient and complete delivery of benefits in consultation with the Events team.
- Identifying and encouraging senior relationships across both organisations.
- Ensuring Raiser's Edge fundraising database is updated and holds accurate information for each relationship in the portfolio.
Administration
- Liaise with Museum stakeholders to supply accurate information for use in sponsorship/funding proposals for current and/or prospective corporate supporters (i.e. become a subject matter expert for the Corporate Relations team in certain agreed upon funding areas of interest).
- Responsible for new business research, identifying and approaching suitable prospects, as well as coordinating response to specific interested prospects.
About you:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- IT proficient as well as experience using databases.
- Keen understanding of fundraising practices and principles alongside project management experience.
- High level of organisation, attention to detail and administrative skills and able to work to tight deadlines across multiple departments.
- Confident, diplomatic, persuasive and professional, able to stay motivated and willing to work outside of normal office hours.
