This is a new role giving you the opportunity and responsibility to build on our successful fundraising and extend our appeal to new donors as well as maintain our existing supporters. You will need demonstrable fundraising experience and the ability to work confidently as a strategic thinker and as a practical fundraiser. You will hit the ground running and come with strong ideas and skills to implement them.
As head of fundraising you will work closely with the CEO to grow charitable income and philanthropic support from governments, individuals, trusts and foundations, corporate companies and other areas. You will help her drive the charity's work forward and work closely with our project teams and see the direct impact of your efforts.
You will have developed your portfolio of fundraising skills over time within charities that work for social good and can demonstrate experiene in securing fundraising income particularly in securing five and six figure grants/donations. Experience of securing statutory funding will be essential. You will have experience of line managing junior fundraising staff and will be keen to develop your managerial responsibility.
You will be a confident and capable leader who will work with colleagues towards supporting an annual programme of circa £3m. This role is crucial to building the charity's long-term sustainability, with a focus on exploring innovative opportunities.

About the position
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced HR generalist to join a leading international anti-slavery organisation. You will be leading in a London-based HR and Operations team of four staff with high levels of autonomy and the ability to make a visible difference. Responsibilities
Lead the Global HR Function
· Lead on HR strategy and delivery across the global organisation – currently comprising approximately 85 staff in 10 countries
· Provide high quality and timely employee relations and change management advice and support to the Senior Leadership Team
· Manage renumeration and benefits globally, ensuring the Freedom Fund’s continuing ability to attract and retain a high performing team
· Oversee relationships with several Employers of Record and external payroll providers globally

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
This exciting role will support on the delivery of income from a range of high-value donors within our philanthropy and corporate income streams. To support this ambitious vision, we are seeking a commercially-focused Senior Finance Business Partner who will play a key role in identifying and driving alternative revenue streams. This strategic position will focus on building the financial foundation for growth, while supporting new commercial ventures that enhance the Royal Ballet and Opera’s impact and reach.
As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer & Chief Financial Officer to provide financial insights and direction that align with our artistic and commercial goals. You will lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process, with an emphasis on identifying opportunities for income generation and maximising returns from existing and new revenue streams. You will also collaborate with key departments to evaluate and implement commercial initiatives, including venue hire, sponsorship, merchandise, digital content, and membership programs, helping to diversify income while supporting our mission.
Reporting to the CCO, this role will oversee a Management Accountant, to provide business and financial support for the Audiences and Commercial division. This includes day to day financial analysis and reporting, support for longer term strategic planning, review of progress against strategic objectives, management of financial controls and general finance support.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders and work in partnership with other teams providing data and analysis relevant to the business strategy.
- Use data from various data sources to understand historic trends and use this information to create financial models and presentations to inform budget decisions.
- Create income and cost Key Performance Indicators and research other organisations to measure performance.
- Provide timely and accurate monthly management accounts including income and expenditure, balance sheet reconciliations and Key Performance Indicators.
- Prepare budgets according to timelines in discussion with the team, Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
- Prepare monthly rolling forecasts of income and expenditure, working closely with other members of the Team.
- Undertake monthly reviews with budget holders to review income and direct costs and feedback to key stakeholders where necessary.
- Lead and line manage direct report effectively, with due regard to performance management, development, coaching, guidance, training, recruitment and retention.
- With direct report, build in routine one to one supervision meetings to provide an infrastructure of information flow and support.
Who are we looking for?
- A formally qualified accountant
- Relevant and appropriate experience in finance and management accounting obtained in a complex organisation
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting in a complex organisation
- An excellent communicator who is able to influence at all levels within the organisation
- Ability to work on own initiative, assess priorities and be proactive.

You:

You’ll understand the need to approach campaigns on a national and regional level to ensure they speak and engage relevant audiences.
You’ll have experience of working with external digital and OOH marketing agencies to deliver effective and engaging campaigns, and you’ll feel confident in ensuring the charity’s best interests are always at the heart of their work.
