Reporting directly to the Controller (Chief Executive) and as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, when required, the Associate Director of Strategy and Impact will have the responsibility to lead and manage the Research and Evaluation, Applications Development and Business Intelligence teams to ensure the Fund is a research led and enabled organisation. The role will require strong leadership to ensure all these facets continue to deliver innovative ways to support the Fund’s strategy and ambitions.

We are seeking someone with good attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and have a strong work ethic.  You will also be able to understand and analyse complex business concepts and engage with the Fund to proactively support the delivery of strategic objectives.  Being a good team player and having excellent written & verbal communication skills is crucial. 

You will be able to build and develop various methods to influence and promote insights, including your experience in applying research and/or data to develop organisational change in order to help the Fund remain relative, competitive, and sustainable. In addition, you will bring your experience of dealing with complex problems and your proven ability to deliver change to this role. 

The role is based in the London office, with the expectation to work a minimum of three days in the office. The successful candidate for this role will need to prove they have the right to work in the UK.

What will you be doing?

Working with the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement Team you will be:

• Working with the Senior Individual Giving Manager to develop, manage, and plan to grow Legacy and In Memory donations.
• Ensuring all materials produced are accurate and compliant with relevant data protection, charity, gift aid legislation and the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Fundraising Practice.
• Representing and protecting the charity’s interests in the administration of Legacies, in line with Probate Law, Estate Administration Law, Institute of Legacy Management best practice and Charity Commission guidelines. Keeping abreast of all developments in legislation and regulatory control which cover Legacy and in memory fundraising activity.
• Liaising with the Senior Individual Giving Manager to shape, plan and deliver a Legacy and In-Memory strategy that delivers income growth, maximising the conversion of donors into Legacy Pledgers.
• Supporting other teams and members, undertake activities, develop reports in a timely manner and in line with best practices.
• Developing and assisting in a programme of training around legacies and reporting.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of PR & Media, the role will help deliver key national media campaigns that call for change to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke and raise the profile of our stroke research.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Managing the team to deliver a proactive, effective and 24/7 press office, building relationships with identified media and opinion formers, and ensure timely media responses based on organisational and reputational priorities.

· Working with the Campaigns and Public Affairs team to plan and deliver influencing activity to key stakeholders, Stroke Association campaigners and the general public.

About You

You will have experience of:

· Drafting, executing and monitoring PR plans against identified briefs and overarching objectives, to deliver strategic communications objectives and to promote specific campaigns

· Managing productive long-term relationships with news and health journalists in the national media

· Working with Policy and Research functions to deliver sustained media coverage, with a strong call to action, ideally in the healthcare sector

The Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data (GPSDD), hosted at the UN Foundation, is a dynamic international partnership of over 700 organisations. GPSDD connects stakeholders to address data gaps and harness opportunities for sustainable development.

In 2018, GPSDD , Sightsavers and partners, launched the Inclusive Data Charter (IDC)  to promote inclusive, disaggregated data for better understanding and addressing the needs of marginalised people. The IDC has grown significantly, with commitments from over 30 Champions.

Sightsavers, a co-founding champion of the IDC, prioritises inclusive data to support its health and inclusion strategies. The Programme Manager - Inclusive Data will work across GPSDD and Sightsavers, managing strategic programmes and partnerships to advance inclusive data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IDC strategic planning and delivery, ensuring team collaboration with the IDC Technical Advisor and Advocacy Lead.
• Manage relationships with IDC champions, facilitating their engagement through regular calls and meetings.
• Foster partnerships between IDC champions, GPSDD partners, and other organisations to share experiences and strengthen inclusive data systems.

As CTA's Business Development Manager, your role involves increasing the uptake of MiDAS training and growing CTA membership. About the role:

The role of the Services Manager is pivotal to leading the delivery of our services; developing and improving our existing services; and creating new services to widen our impact on veterans and their families, ensuring our clients are supported into meaningful and sustainable employment, with an approach that is tailored to their individual needs.

The Baobab Centre is a non-residential therapeutic community that supports young asylum seekers and refugees who have experienced human rights abuses and have sought asylum in the UK as unaccompanied minors. Our two focus areas are rehabilitation and justice.

This is a unique oppertunity for a passionate and experienced fundraiser to progress further in their career, with the freedom to creatively enhance and develop the fundraising strategy of an impactful community-based charity.

As Senior Fundraising Lead you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will lead on the development of fundraising at Baobab, exploring new avenues for funding, as well as nurturing and growing existing fundraising relationships. You will be responsible for strategising and carrying out a successful program of fundraising from small, medium and large charitable trusts and foundations to an agreed annual fundraising target. You will also assist in delivering Baobab’s individual major donor programme, helping to set up and deliver communications and events related to this income stream. There is scope to explore further fundraising activites including events, corporate and community fundraising. You will play a central role and work closely with our operations team, as well as recieving expert monthly mentoring from a senoir fundraising consultant. 

This role is for 4 or 5 days per week depending on your preference, it will include Fridays which is when staff meetings are held.

What you need to know about this role:

In 2023, we launched an online information hub for our carers where they can find out about services that can support them in their journey. This currently sits separate to our main site. We are now working with Studio24 to bring these sites together, to create a unified user experience, with new website functionality. A key consideration for this development is our recent Department for Education contract to deliver high quality training to carers across England. As part of this service, we must ensure that carers can seamlessly book online or face-to-face training through our website. Additionally, they should have access to a wide range of online information and advice content. While some of this functionality exists within our current digital estate, not all of it does and there is room for improvement. Therefore, the redevelopment project aims to create a cohesive website experience with clear user journeys and new functionality.

The type of person we’re looking for:

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in project management and UX. You will be experienced in managing complex digital projects throughout their lifecycle. You will be able to work collaboratively and have excellent communication skills to engage both internal and external stakeholders. You will have a genuine passion for working with and involving users in meaningful ways and have a particular interest in accessible and inclusive design. You will be able to build rapport with internal stakeholders, keeping them up to date with digital developments, explaining things in easily accessible language and obtaining buy-in from across the organisation. The role
Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in establishing and developing Global Greengrants Fund UK’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) work. The new role of MEAL Officer will undertake high-quality data management and analysis to produce key learnings on the outcomes of GGF’s grantmaking and other programmatic activity, as well as leading system improvements to our evolving monitoring, evaluation and learning framework in collaboration with global colleagues. They will be providing support to the emerging global learning function, and the role will support the delivery of learning activities across our network to develop clear briefs, learnings and findings that can be used by other functions, including the Communications and Philanthropic Partnerships teams, to strengthen the organisation’s external and internal engagement and knowledge sharing activities. This will include developing appropriate methodologies and tools to collate, validate, summarise, analyse and report on key trends within our grantmaking using and improving on a range of data sources including grantee application forms and reports. Working as part of the UK Programme Support function and reporting to the Deputy Executive Director, the post holder will also collaborate closely with colleagues across the global organisation Global Greengrants Fund, particularly within the Programmes, Communications, and Learning teams towards realising organisational aims.

The candidate profile
The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They will be an experienced, senior-level specialist with a strong track record in data collection, monitoring and analysis, with good working knowledge of a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies, tools and systems, and in using this information to evaluate and recommend adaptations, and in reporting. Higher-level qualifications/certification in a relevant field, post-graduate qualification would be a distinct advantage, particularly in the social sciences and/or use of mixed method approaches. They will have demonstrated experience authoring MEAL related reports, either organisational reports or academic publications; demonstrated ability to coordinate and improve the process of data collection, analysis and reporting and demonstrated experience in managing datasets, databases, programming, and other analysis software. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills; and be confident in engaging a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including at senior levels. They have exceptional organisational and research abilities, with strong attention to detail and accuracy, including analysing large amounts of information from disparate sources. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies. The Role

This is a dynamic new and exciting role which will play a key part in our strategy for development and growth at Link to Change. We are seeking an experienced project manager with a genuine passion and knowledge about nature and climate to lead and deliver our new WASH project.

Norton Hall is a small, but growing charity with a vibrant team based in and working with the community of Wash wood Heath, in East Birmingham.  The WASH will be based at our Dolphin Women’s Centre in Ward End Park; a much valued, Green Flag accredited 54-acre public space with a Lake and the Wash Brook. 

Thanks to National Lottery players, Norton Hall has received a five-year grant from The National Lottery Community Fund.   

The funding will be used to engage our local community in nature and climate learning activities, connecting them with the rural environment, increasing their connection to their surroundings and encouraging them to understand what it means to them.  Shaped by volunteers, service users and partners, the WASH aims to see improvements in everyday lives, including food and growing skills, career opportunities, improved mental and physical health, and confidence building.

To succeed in this role, your extensive project and people management experience will ideally be rooted in environmental work and co-ordinating large-scale projects.  Your interpersonal and leadership skills will enable you to develop excellent relationships with your team, partners and wider stakeholders.

You will be a self-motivated individual, who’s organisational and time management skills will keep the WASH team on track to meet milestones and ensure the project achieves its vision and objectives.
