Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind run an innovative crisis prevention service designed as a place for children and young people at risk of mental health crises to de-escalate and have access to a skilled staff team to support them.

The Circle is open out of hours (3pm-11pm or 12pm-8pm weekends and holidays), 365 days a year, and has been designed to reduce the need for young people to attend A&E. Co-designed by young people, it is a friendly and accessible space. Please note: some out-of-hours work is a key part of this job, with some opportunity for home working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Line management of a team of full time, part time and bank staff who have expertise in supporting young people nearing crises.
• Day to day management of the contract (from the NHS ICB)
• Responsible for managing a rota to ensure the service has adequate staffing, 365 days a year
• Holding relationships with all key stakeholders (funders and commissioners, local authorities, local CAMHS services and hospitals)
• Building on the pilot phase of the programme and using creative approaches to supporting children and young people of all ages.
• Working closely with the Clinical Lead to ensure safe delivery of services and that staff are supported.
• Ability to support staff to work with a diverse range of children and families, and tailor services to reach young people who may not currently be accessing the programme, or who have specific additional needs or diagnoses.

• At least 3 years’ experience of managing a complex service supporting young people with a variety of needs, ideally within a mental health context.
• Experience of working on (ideally managing) a commissioned service within a Third Sector Organisation.

About the role

Advocates support people to express their views, understand their rights and make informed decisions. Much of their work is with some of the most vulnerable in our society who cannot speak up for themselves and have no family members or friends who can do so. Most of what we do operates within the legislative frameworks of the Mental Capacity Act, Care Act, Mental Health Act and NHS Health Complaints process.

We are looking to recruit a permanent multi-skilled advocate to join our Berkshire team, working a minimum of 21 hours per week, up to 37 hours considered, starting salary £23,314 per annum, pro rata.

Yeldall Manor is a Christian recovery centre for men wanting to overcome their addiction problems. We have created this new part-time position to provide consistent and professional HR support to the organisation, bringing together various roles currently undertaken by a few different staff members.

The role will suit someone who can work under their own initiative (after training in our charity practices), experienced in overseeing the employee journey from recruitment and retention to departure. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, and ensure that the charity is compliant with all relevant legislation. This will involve dealing with all employment matters, building robust policies & procedures, and implementation across the organisation. You would also be responsible for preparing the staff rota and all related administration. We do not currently have HR software, so reviewing our requirements in this area would be one of your responsibilities. As a small charity (c. 35 staff including part-time and casual workers), the role will require balancing practical and administrative tasks with management responsibilities. We anticipate that you'll be based in the office for at least two days out of the three days/24 hours worked per week. Purpose of the Post/Responsibilities

This is a full-time position reporting directly into the CEO/CFO with an expectation of being on site in the award-winning Caudwell International Children’s Centre in Staffordshire a minimum of 3 days a week, depending on meetings and events.  We are seeking an inspirational leader with the ability to identify opportunities and grow diverse income lines to support the Charity’s expanding service delivery.

Responsible for the strategic management and development of the Charity’s income generation, this role will play a pivotal part in taking the Charity to the next level and helping to change the lives of disabled children across the UK and beyond.

The successful candidate will oversee the main public-facing fundraising activity for the Charity, providing strategic leadership and tactical supervision to a growing team of Fundraisers.

You will be expected to develop a robust and diverse fundraising portfolio across several designated income strands to generate increasing levels of fundraising income year-on-year.

It has been recognised that the Charity currently has minimal market share in most standard charity income lines and this role will be fundamental in developing the required infrastructure, resource and ‘products’ to begin growing market share over the medium to long term.

A primary responsibility of the role will be to assess, develop and implement a new donor management system; ensuring new and existing supporters have a clear communication and cultivation journey with assigned fundraisers adopting relationship responsibilities throughout.

The required standard levels of customer service and donor management for all supporter relations across the Charity will be established and promoted to ensure the required levels of consistency.

This growth will occur while maintaining and strengthening the established income lines which already exist, such as Events and Challenges.

Events are a part of Caudwell Children’s DNA and the single largest income generator in the Charity’s Fundraising Department, therefore there will be a specific focus on maintaining and developing this important department.

The role will initially be responsible for developing two designated teams of fundraising colleagues:

• Individual Giving (Team size: 3)
  • (Wills & Legacy, Regular Gifts/Direct Debit, Major Gifts, Raffle/Lottery, Payroll Giving).
• Community Fundraising (Team size: 6)
  • (Events, Challenges, Mass Participation, Street Collections).

Remaining income streams (Trusts & Foundations, Public Sector Funding, Earned Income and Trading Income) will be managed by the Director of Corporate Fundraising.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team the successful candidate will be responsible for reporting to the CEO/CFO and fellow Directors regularly on strategy and performance.

Monthly reporting to the Trustee Board and regular ad-hoc correspondence with Trustees will also be required.  

Success will be monitored annually by the Trustee Board against KPI’s including income growth, ROI and market share.

What you will do:

· Develop an events plan that will grow income using data from previous years to understand our supporters and build a creative and sustainable income plan for long term growth.

· Build and manage relationships with supporters across all communication channels and provide professional, relevant, timely and empathetic stewardship at all times.

The position 

In this role, you will coordinate The Society’s communications activities to ensure a coherent and impactful narrative, manage the Communications Grid, and act as a brand champion. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining networks with partner organisations and third-party suppliers, managing the communications and membership budget, and leading the establishment of key performance indicators for communications and engagement activities. You will also develop targeted narratives, oversee the production of various communications content, and monitor trends to propose innovative projects.

The Communications and Membership Manager has line management responsibility for a Senior Communications Officer, Membership and Grants Officer, and a Communities and Contents Officer.

Who are we looking for? 

The ideal candidate will have a Life-Science degree or relevant experience in Life Sciences. They should have a strong track record of developing and delivering multi-channel communications for diverse audiences, including translating complex research for lay audiences. High digital literacy is essential, encompassing digital design tools, content creation, website management, email platforms, and social media management. Experience in project management, creating accurate visual and written content for various platforms, and excellent organisational skills with a proactive problem-solving approach are required. The candidate should also have experience maintaining professional relationships, working collaboratively within a team, and line management.

The role:

• Assist the Head of Finance with the preparation of the Greenpeace Ltd monthly management accounts.
• Provide support and advice to budget holders to aid budgetary understanding and ownership.
• Proactively work to improve finance processes, including developing budget management processes.
• Assist the Head of Finance in the efficient and timely preparation of the Greenpeace Ltd annual accounts production and the conduct of the annual audit.
• Represent the team at a senior level including providing financial advice to the organisation.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified, or a finalist Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or other chartered accountancy qualification) or will be qualified by experience.
• Have substantial experience of management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Be a self-starter, with the ability to work on own initiative
• Have proven experience of delivering a business partnering focussed service and providing in depth insight, analysis and guidance to budget-holders.

Chichester District Foodbank is a vibrant and ever-evolving community project which provides emergency food to over 9000 local people every year. We are looking to employ an Office Manager for 37.5 hours per week at £28,000 to £30,000 per annum. 

As the Office Manager you will manage the overall running of the Foodbank office/building, including overseeing HR, implementing policy and procedures, including Health and Safety, maintaining administrative processes, managing stakeholders, serving the trustee board, and working closely with staff in the implementation of events and projects.

Responsibilities

As the Office Manager you will be responsible for managing the overall running of the Foodbank Office/building and administrative processes.

The postholder will do this by:

• The first point of contact for clients and stakeholders on the Chichester District Foodbank main telephone or central email, dealing with initial enquiries and referring them to relevant member of staff when appropriate. 

• HR – manage the HR dashboard, Breathe HR, prompting managers to complete appraisals and regular one-to-ones, managing policies and supporting managers in the recruitment of staff using platforms such as ‘Indeed’.

• CRM – main point of contact for Salesforce, creating templates and providing reports, prompting staff to keep contacts up-to-date, data cleaning etc. 

• Stewardship of regular and one-off donors, acknowledging receipt of donations, encouraging Gift Aid signup, and sending letters of thanks on behalf of the CEO. 

• Supporting the Operations Manager with volunteer recruitment admin where necessary.

• Responsible for building management including liaising with utility suppliers and taking responsibility for health and safety in the Chichester District Foodbank offices and centre. 

• Responsible for equipment management, keeping an up-to-date asset list, liaising with suppliers and contractors, making sure all staff have equipment needed to complete their work i.e. phones systems, laptops, and mobile phones. 

• Responsible for procuring office supplies, including stamps. 

• Responsible for IT systems including Office 365 and Google drive, ensuring intellectual property is secure, staff have relevant access and corporate assets can be accessed by all. 

• Managing Chichester District Foodbank events, managing correspondence with event attendees, procuring event equipment and volunteers. Ensuring event information is communicated accurately and timely across all channels in collaboration with the Communications Officer. 

• Oversee community collections and collection boxes/buckets – making sure that we adhere to fundraising regulations and licences, counting, and banking money and thanking relevant organisations. 

• Manage organisational policy reviews and development.

• Manage the Chichester District Foodbank office volunteers including the tech volunteer who provides IT support. 

• Responsible for creation and development of a Chichester District Foodbank archive.

• Lead on data protection /GDPR. 

• Support CEO and Trustees by setting up meetings, providing agendas, board papers and minutes, booking venues and refreshments, whilst maintaining confidentiality. 

• Support internal communications as directed by the CEO. 

• Provide occasional management support for foodbank sessions when the Operations Manager is unavailable.
