Your Responsibilities:

• Proactively identify and engage new high-value donors through networking, research, and cross-functional collaboration.

Are you a highly experienced and qualified International Finance Manager to join its growing international charity who changes children's lives through locally lead action?

In this key role, you will work closely with the Director of Finance & Corporate Resources to manage the financial functions of the organisation and its international subsidiary in New Zealand. Your International Finance Manager Day to day will include:

• Overseeing the implementation and ongoing review of financial policies, practices, processes, and systems.

From sharing the voices of our incredible Youth Ambassadors far and wide, to marketing fantastic fundraising initiatives to identifying new opportunities to reach young people, you’ll play a fundamental role in ensuring bereaved children and young people know they can put their trust in Winston’s Wish when their worlds are turned upside down by grief.

Main Responsibilities

• Marketing outreach and project management
• Work alongside the Director of Marketing & Communications to action the charity’s strategic marketing plan.
• Lead a team of marketeers in planning, delivering and measuring effective projects to drive revenue and reach across multiple areas of the company.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will manage all day-to-day financial controls and processing and will lead on the year-end audit and statutory reporting process. • Lead all day-to-day financial controls and processing for HQ and lead the financial support to stakeholders.
• Lead on annual external Audit across the Group (Charity and Trading Subsidiary) and prepare statutory financial statements - being the main point of contact with the Auditors

You will use data to test and learn through the delivery of persuasive and compelling appeals and campaigns - aiming to grow supporter loyalty and inspire repeat donations.

Your key responsibilities will include; 

• Planning and implementation
  • Increasing individual gifts through enhancing the supporter donor journey.
  • Developing new individual giving appeals and campaigns with a focus on direct marketing across various channels to engage with new and existing supporters
• Donor data analysis and segmentation - Analysing and segmenting the supporter base to develop targeted supporter journeys and ask strategies
• Stewardship and donor engagement - Managing donor stewardship to provide personalised and engaging communications.

  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate;

• Experience of income generation from direct marketing campaigns across a variety of digital channels for acquisition and retention.
• Experience of project management to deliver campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Experience of using databases for targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis and how to apply these learnings to future campaigns.
• Knowledge of Charity Law, Data Protection, Fundraising Code of Practice, and other relevant marketing or fundraising standards across the UK.

v  Proven experience in a leadership role within a charity or non-profit organisation.

v  Good report writing ability to produce monthly reports on impact data and progress towards goals.

Harris Hill is delighted to be working with a renowned health charity based in London who are seeking a Trusts and Statutory Manager to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in enabling the charity to fund research and to find new treatments and cures.

As Trusts and Statutory Manager, you develop and maintain a strong pipeline of medium to high value prospects (£50k+), working both independently and with the Prospect Research Manager to identify and qualify prospects with a particular focus on high value, strategic and multi- year opportunities. You will create compelling high quality funding proposals to generate income for a range of projects. You will account manage key Trusts and Statutory funders, leading on all aspects of donor care. You will also be leading on development of cultivation and stewardship plans for key funders, demonstrating creative and relationship-led approach to Trusts and Statutory fundraising.

To be considered for this role, you will need: 

• Experience of creating bespoke written proposals and reports for Trusts and Statutory supporters, with a track record of building and managing a pipeline of high value prospects.
• Excellent written communications skills, including ability to summarise complex information into accessible language for lay audiences and showcase impact.
• Experience of Developing project summaries and budgets and maintaining effective systems to report back on project progress and expenditure to funders.
