The Schools Project Officer is a crucial business administrative role at the Diocese, as you will act as the first point of contact for projects concerning the development and maintenance of school sites and buildings, from senior leaders, governors, parish officers or our professional advisers.

Reporting to the Schools Officer and working within the Children, Young People and Education team, you will support the oversight of related grant funding and manage other bespoke projects such as promoting decarbonisation initiatives for church schools and organising land registrations. You will also advise school leaders and governors in relation to school organisation and the use or development of land and buildings.

As Schools Project Officer, you will act as facilitator between various internal and external teams, providing support through monitoring projects relating to school estates (building developments, maintenance and repairs), whilst making proactive enquiries and interventions to sustain progress against recorded timescales.

You will also take responsibility for managing grants held by the Diocese and liaising with schools regarding suitable projects and available funding, helping schools to prioritise projects for effective estate management.

A crucial part of our strategy is to assess the environmental impact of the Diocese’s church schools, planning for and supporting schools to advance decarbonisation and energy efficiency projects. As Schools Project Officer you will regularly update and signpost church schools to banks of practical materials and resources for decarbonisation campaigns, toolkits and projects, building case studies of best practice.

With an understanding of or experience in business administration, estate management or project support, you should be capable of supporting projects and have the ability to apply understanding to tasks. Capable of summarising complex information clearly, you should be able to explain the progress of projects to those with no specialist understanding.

Forward thinking, adaptable and responsive to a varied work programme, you should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have evidence of recent study, training or development and a willingness to learn new knowledge and technical skills.

It is essential for you to be supportive of the vision of the CYPE team and to be sympathetic to the contribution of Church of England schools to Christian mission.

The ability to travel and a willingness to attend occasional evening and weekend meetings and events is essential.

An understanding and awareness of Church of England structures and knowledge of the current educational landscape within the context of church schools, along with experience of budget management or creating financial reports would be desirable.

As part of the spaceforall project, All Saints Church has been refurbished with exciting potential for serving the people of Wokingham as an active community hub. Teresa House and Hamlets Way are two supported housing accommodations for adults with enduring mental health issues. Both services provide a high level of support to 16 customers on each service. Teresa House is a fast stream service where customers are supported up to two years while Hamlets Way is a slow stream service where customers can expect support for a minimum of two to a maximum of 4 years.
The service is under Look Ahead management since April 2015 and the buildings are owed by Notting Hill Genesis.

What you'll do:

- To work on a rota based shift pattern which includes working early (8-4pm) and late (2-10pm) shifts 5 days a week.
- Support customers with dignity and respect in aspects of their day to day living this can include but is not excluded to; social and physical activities, medication, shopping, benefit entitlements, maintaining living standards, exploring employment, education and training opportunities
- Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/ Manager

Role Description

The Racial Equity Programme Lead will be part of our talented, agile and welcoming team of 7. This is a newly established role that will be managed by the Programmes Director, and work closely with the CEO, the wider organisation and those involved in this programme, including expert collaborators, partners and a steering group. There are no line management responsibilities.

The key responsibilities of the role are to:

● Offer valuable insights and learning from the Leadership Lighthouses programme and support their integration to       ensure our organisation's work remains inclusive and impactful.

● Lead and manage the Leadership Lighthouses programme, with a collaborative approach, building strong relationships with partners and participants, actively listening and responding to their needs.

● Ensure effective deployment of resources to achieve the programme objectives and targets.

● Design and implement robust management processes to ensure good governance and successful project outcomes.

Terms and working hours

We are open to discussing flexible arrangements before or on application.

Place of work

● Further UK travel will be required on occasion, the costs of which would be covered by Clore Social Leadership.

Pay and benefits

● Salary for this role will be £32,000 based on 28 hours per week (£40,000 full time equivalent FTE).

● The post holder is entitled to 20 days of annual leave (25 days FTE), in addition to UK statutory holidays.

● The office is closed for one week during the winter festive period (25-31 December), providing an additional three days of annual leave in addition to the above allocation.

● You have the option to join our contributory pension scheme. The employer's contribution is 3% with a minimum employee contribution of 5%.

Our ISVAs work with clients currently residing in any London borough, or if the abuse was committed in any London borough. Some travel to London will be expected.

About the role:
This role is a hybrid role with home working allowed twice per week. Your home office would be Chandlers Ford, however you would be expected to travel regularly to offices in both Basingstoke and Southampton.

As a Team Leader you will

• Ensure the delivery of excellent services to victims of crime and retain and develop contracts for services by supporting and managing operational staff
• Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and management team, in order to achieve the implementation of work force plans and the development of the service to maximise positive outcomes for those that access the service
• Proactively promote the service, raise awareness of services & work with professionals collaboratively to improve the access to and quality of service

You will need:

• An understanding of the Criminal justice system and the impact of crime on victims and witnesses

As the Hospital Based Youth Worker, you will be supporting young people, aged 11-19, presenting at UCLH emergency department or who are inpatients within various areas of the hospital for whom there are safeguarding or there psycho-social support needs identified. The work with young people will be primarily hospital based, but you will also support some young people for longer term support in the community. You will engage with and support young people with their immediate needs and connect them with relevant community services for further support. The Role

Support with sleep challenges and sensory needs are a large part of the role so experience in these areas would be welcomed.
