About the role

The Crew Nurse coordinates healthcare for our volunteer Crew and our local Day Crew. International Aid for the Protection & Welfare of Animals (IAPWA) is a UK-registered animal welfare charity dedicated to creating a better future for animals in need.
Our first project, established in 2009, is based in Borneo where we provide a lifeline to thousands of dogs and cats every year in need of veterinary care and support. Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in graphic design, preferably in the non-profit sector but not essential.
- Proficiency in graphic design software.
- Strong creative skills and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for social impact and creating opportunities for those facing socio-economic challenges.

This is the vision for our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategy. We want to become more diverse, supporting and campaigning on behalf of the whole MS community. We want to make sure everyone feels included in what we do.
To ensure we listen to the MS community and carry their voices through our EDI work we have our EDI reference group. This group of people living with MS helps to support various EDI projects, gives feedback on how we are doing and raises any EDI issues they have experienced.
We meet monthly between 5-6pm. Our meetings are informal and a safe space for people to be able to talk openly and honestly.
We would like to give more people the opportunity to join this group and become a key part of our EDI work.
As a member of this group you will;
- Talk about EDI issues
- Support projects as part of our EDI strategy
- Give your insight and feedback on our EDI work
- Support our research EDI action plan
- Have the opportunity to join our EDI activity group. This staff group is responsible for ensuring we deliver the EDI strategy. We recognise the importance of having the voices of volunteers and people living with MS in this group.
