About the Role:
This new position will drive our income generation efforts through various channels and initiatives. You will develop and implement business development strategies to attract financial support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and potential donors. The role will proactively engage with donors, build relationships, and cultivate partnerships to create and maximise income generation to support our mission and programmes.
What You'll Do:
Drive development of Urban Synergy’s presence in business FTSE 250 and others, through successful inbound and outbound prospect and client engagement.
Research and identify potential funding sources, including individuals, corporations, foundations, and grant opportunities to build a meaningful opportunity pipeline.
Create comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with Urban Synergy’s organisational goals and mission.
Create, implement and manage fundraising campaigns and initiatives to maximise income generation.
Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential donors.
Develop donor cultivation plans, including personalised communications, events, and stewardship activities.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective donor engagement and recognition and explore new partnership opportunities.
Work closely with the Head of Programmes and Engagement and the Partnership Manager.
Identify relevant grant opportunities and draft compelling proposals ensuring timely their submission including reports, and related documentation.
Attend networking events, conferences, and community gatherings to expand the organisation's network and establish strategic partnerships.
Track and analyse income generation activities, prepare regular reports and revenue forecasts on fundraising progress, outcomes, and ROI.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in fundraising activities.
Who we are looking for:
Someone with substantial and demonstrable experience of working with corporates within FTSE 250 and the commercial sector. This includes proactively acquiring new partnerships and maximising existing relationships, including how to access the decision makers.
Have excellent presentation and negotiating skills, representing the charity in a range of settings and to a range of audiences.
Be a self-starter with strong sales and influencing skills, Able to work independently in particular in developing corporate fundraising products and tools.
Degree in Business, nonprofit management, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in income/revenue generation, fundraising, or new business sales, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills, displaying a commitment to excellence and careful attention to detail.
Target driven with an ability to think strategically and develop and implement compelling fundraising strategies.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Proficiency in fundraising software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of ethical fundraising practices and compliance regulations.
Collaborative and strategic builder.

Your role:

What is the Role?
The Partnerships Account Manager will drive business growth by securing new partnerships and managing key client accounts across designated regions. The Programmes Interns will play an integral part in the team to help deliver on these initiatives and the long-term aims of the organisation. The roles are varied and will support student communication and delivery across our school age (16-18) programmes and university (post 18) activities for alumni. This is an extremely exciting time to be at the Trust and the roles will require individuals to be creative, flexible and to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Main duties
- Manage student logistics including booking travel, reimbursements and accommodation across a range of programmes.
- Responding to multiple student-facing email inboxes to ensure timely and effective communication with beneficiaries.
- Being the first point of contact on the Sutton Trust main phone line, answering questions from a range of stakeholders
- Being a main point of contact for students around activity attendance, eg following up with students who haven’t attended
- Assisting with planning and delivery of a range of in person events eg, residential conferences for students on Pathways programmes, employability events for Sutton Trust alumni and online webinars
- Updating content on Sutton Trusts website, digital student platforms (Sutton Trust Online and Sutton Trust Alumni) and materials needed for programme delivery
- Updating appropriate databases, for example on student information or university details to ensure this is accurate

Person Specification

The Clinical Service team in the Together Trust is at an exciting time of development. This post offers the unique opportunity to join a newly established Psychology Service and to work systemically in multi-disciplinary teams to contribute to trust wide and externally commissioned initiatives and support the needs of individual pupils.
In this role you will be working in Specialist Together Trust settings.
You will draw on knowledge and expertise in neurodiversity and work closely with settings that support learners with autism and social communication differences. You will work with pupils with significant social and emotional needs and the teams around them, using trauma-informed practice. You will support the needs of learners with complex learning and developmental needs, and you will have opportunities to work in other settings on externally commissioned projects across the region, including work in mainstream and community settings.
You will work in a variety of ways through training, problem-solving and collaborative consultation and advice and support to teachers, parents/carers, SENCOs, the wider community, as well as children and young people. You will be able to build relationships with those you support, take a reflective approach and work in cycles of ‘assess, plan, do review’ to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people. You will use psychological assessment and produce reports to contribute to an understanding of a child’s needs and work in collaboration with others to develop shared and person-centred plans of support.
You will be supported by and will support a small team of Educational Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists using formal and informal supervision, and you will be able to shape and contribute to the development of a service that is inclusive and celebratory of the experiences of the thoughts and ideas people bring. Opportunities for professional development and project development with universities as well as participation in charity and community focussed activity will be supported.

Background: Muslim Charities Forum (MCF) is the UK network for British Muslim charities working for social good in the UK and internationally. Through our network of almost 300 charitable organisations, we aim to collectively build a more accountable, transparent and efficient British Muslim charitable sector, in order to improve our ability—both as individual organisations and as a sector—to contribute to a more just and sustainable world. Job Purpose: MCF has a small team, but our impact is far-reaching. The Sector and Business Development Lead has an important role in supporting members and the wider British Muslim charity sector, reporting and working directly with the CEO. The postholder will be responsible for managing change management, organisational development and capacity building support to the voluntary, community and third sector in 4 core areas including governance, organisational development, volunteering and fundraising. The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and over-seeing advice and guidance to groups around these topics, ensuring that they are informed of the regulatory and legal information necessary, encouraging full compliance with legislation through a designed health-check framework. They will be supported by the wider MCF team as well as trusted external partners and specialists.
The aim of the role is to support the broader work of MCF in developing a strong Muslim-led charity sector, including delivery of workshops and policy development relevant to the speciality areas connected with this post.
Main Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will:
• Support organisations by facilitating guidance on best practice across the 4 core areas of governance, organisational development, volunteering and fundraising.

About the role
We’re looking for a Media and Communications Officer to join our Media and PR team.
As a member of the team, you'll have a fundamental role in helping us to deliver on our promise to support young people and their families to deal with the impact of cancer, both during and beyond treatment.
This role, working together with other members of the Policy, Communications and Voice directorate and the wider charity, will help us achieve this by amplifying the voices and experiences of children and young people with cancer, influencing the system to create change and raising awareness and funds.

What will I be doing?
